The Phenomenon of the Journey in Artistic Areation and in the Pedagogical Work

This thesis is focused on exploring aspects and visions of the journey and their meaning, both in concrete and metaphorical terms. In one perspective, the path is interpreted as a link between specific points, while in the other as a tool to reach a specific goal. In such a context, the journey becomes an integral part of the process towards achieving a particular goal, which can be anything from reaching a specific destination to fulfilling a life dream or mission. In this context, the interaction between the journey and the destination is crucial. The artistic component of the work is a personal diary, which contains fragments from various journeys, captured in watercolour. The diary is enriched with drawings and texts that reflect authentic travel experiences. This diary, as well as the theme of "The Phenomenon of Travel", has become an inspirational source for didactic projects that explore the concept of travel, whether in an artistic or pedagogical context. The aim of this thesis is to explore the different aspects and perspectives of the journey, both on a concrete and metaphorical level, and to translate them into didactic projects. Contemporary Preschool Children's Knowledge and Preferences of Fairy Tales

This bachelor's thesis deals with fairy tales in relation to contemporary children of pre-school age and their knowledge and preferences of these fairy tales. My ambition is to point out what is the meaning and value of fairy tales for children as well as the importance and benefits of children's fairy tales knowledge and preference investigation. In my opinion, it is necessary to find out how children are currently doing in the field of fairy tales to let it contribute to their development. The theoretical section of this thesis is dedicated to characteristics of the preschool children in relation to the topic of this thesis as well as to the factors influencing children's reading which include family, kindergarten teachers, reading-stimulating environment and libraries. Also there is a part dedicated to literature characteristics for children as well as generations raising today's children and their relationship to children's literature. It can also affect children's relationship to literature. The next important area in the section is the fairy tale itself, its characteristics, types and fairy tale characters as well as the role of the fairy tale in kindergarten and what interaction options it brings. Pain in patients with multiple sclerosis

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of pain in patients with multiple sclerosis. The aim of the thesis is to map the prevalence of pain among patients with multiple sclerosis, its localization, time course, triggering factors, type, character, intensity and some other aspects pain through a shortened Czech form of the standardized questionnaire of McGill University. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the issue of pain in general, but also focuses on the individual types of pain that are characteristic of multiple sclerosis. The practical part relies on data collection by means of a questionnaire survey that focuses on mapping the prevalence of pain, its location, haracter, duration, intensity and other possible related factors. To collect data, I used a shorter form of the Czech version of the standardized McGill University questionnaire. The questionnaire survey was carried out with patients of the Centre for Demyelinating Diseases, Department of Neurology 1. LF UK and VFN in Prague, who were given a paper questionnaire. The information I obtained was processed into graphs and tables. Eva Aujezdská Title: Physiotherapy during and after giving birth spontaneous way Bachelor's thesis abstract: This bachelor's thesis deals with problems of childbirth and postpartum period of women and deviations of the musculoskeletal system occurring in connection with spontaneous childbirth and puerperium most frequently. It also deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy, which can be used to alleviate, eliminate or prevent these abnormalities. The aim of the paper is to provide a comprehensive overview of information, to describe the effect of physiotherapy on a woman's recovery after spontaneous childbirth and to compile an information booklet with therapeutic exercises. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, there is a description of the course and mechanism of spontaneous labour, including the anatomical structures that are most burdened by this process. Physiotherapy options suitable for obstetric care are also presented. This bachelor's thesis is focused on the topic "Large carnivores in the Czech Republic in the teaching of biology". The first part of the thesis is focused on the occurrence and importance of large carnivores in the Czech Republic. The next chapter deals with how biology teachers at primary and secondary education in our country deal with the topic and the embedding of the topic in RVP, ŠVP and other educational programs in Czechia. The aim of this work is to verify research questions on how primary and secondary school biology teachers in the Czech Republic teach this topic using a questionnaire distributed to the largest possible number of science teachers.

Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease leading to demyelination of nerve fibres and their subsequent loss. Klaudia Fabičovic Consultant: MUDr. Vendula Parmová Title of bachelor thesis: The influence of physiotherapy in irregular menstrual cycle Abstract: Menstrual cycle disorders are nowadays a very common problem for many women. These include dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, functional female sterility or luteal insufficiency. Their etiology may also be associated with musculoskeletal dysfunction. Luteal insufficiency is considered to be a luteal phase of less than 12 days. This condition may be one of the possible causes of infertility, but studies on this topic are lacking. The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the influence of luteal insufficiency using diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in physiotherapy. Three women with luteal insufficiency underwent individually tailored physiotherapy ongoing for 6 months with the aim of prolonging the luteal phase. The symptothermal method was used to objectify the length of the luteal phase before and after therapy, allowing easy and reliable control of the menstrual cycle and increasing the likelihood of conception through accurate timing of the fertile period. Design and Synthesis of Prodrugs of 6-Diazo-5-oxo-L-norleucine; Potential Treatment for Glioblastoma

6-Diazo-5-oxo-L-norleucine (DON, 1) is a non-standard amino acid with proven antitumor activity found in soil bacteria of the genus Streptomyces. However, due to the considerable systemic toxicity manifested mainly in the gastrointestinal tract, DON alone is not a suitable clinical candidate for the treatment of cancer. One of the ways to solve the problem of its toxicity is the reversible structural modification of this molecule by protecting both its amino group and carboxyl functional group, by preparing the so-called prodrug of DON. The prepared prodrug may suitably alter the distribution of DON in the body and at the same time increase its permeability to brain tissue. Due to this structural modification, its side effects can be eliminated and a substance for the treatment of brain tumors, such as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), can potentially be formed. In my dissertation, five strategies for the specific delivery of DON to the brain using different types of its prodrugs are discussed. The new prodrugs are designed to be either capable of spontaneous penetration across the blood-brain barrier or of being a substrate for one of its influx transporters.
