Povrchová aktivita osmi běžných druhů chvostoskoků ve smrkových lesích a na pasekách po kůrovcové kalamitě v Národním parku Šumava, Česká republika
Brůhová, Jindřiška ; Rusek, Josef
Surface activity of eight common epigeic species of Collembola were studied in spruce forests, dead spruce forests and clearings in the Šumava National Park, South Bohemia, Czech Republic: .i.Lepidocyrtus lignorum, Leidocyrus cyaneus, Pogonognathellus longicornis, Tomocerus minutus, Tetracanthella stachi, Allacma fusca, Entomobrya nivalis, Dicyrtomina minuta./i.. Five pitfall traps were exposed at each of the 9 sites in the summer and autumn periods to study the impact of spruce forest die-off after bark beetle attack (dead forests) and on clearings. Material comprising 79435 specimens was evaluated in this study using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test for comparing Collembola activity between the sites and seasons. Complete linkage (Euclidean distances) cluster analysis was used for comparing the collembolan activity in all nine sites.

Comparison of chemical composition of throughfall and deposited precipitation
Chaloupecký, Pavel ; Špičková, Jitka ; Fišák, Jaroslav ; Skřivan, Petr
Since June 2004 throughfall samples in beech and spruce vegetation have been taken at the observatory Milesovka. Ever since 1998 fog water samples have been taken there as well. In this paper are compared the concentrations of main ions and trace elements in throughfall and in deposited precipitation. The concentrations of main ions and trace elements in throughfal are primarily affected by the volume of samples. The highest concentrations of monitored sustances in throughfall were recorded in September and in October when the lowest rainfall totals were measured. The concentrations of monitored sustances were in throughfall mostly higher in spruce vegetation in comparison with beech vegetation. It is probably due to the thicker treetop in spruce vegetation on Milesovka observatory. Due to the thicker treetop a smaller volume of throughfall is let fall and the substances from ambient air are captured more effectively in comparison with beech vegetation. In the case of main ions the lowest concentrations were measured in fog water samples. For trace elements wasn´t data. From comparison with reference locality Lesni potok is obvious that concentrations of monitored sustances in throughfall on Milesovka exceed sharply concentrations in locality Lesni potok. This difference is considerably higher by spruce vegetation in comparison to beech vegetation which indicate that it is necessary take not only local air quality into account but also type of vegetation and thick of treetop which can very significantly contribute to the chemical composition of throughfall.

SITA CZ a.s., Praha ; Lacková, Zuzana ; Friedmann, Bedřich ; Chudárek, Tomáš
Příloha shrnuje výsledky provozních zkoušek MBÚ, které byly podrobně popsány a diskutovány v předcházejících pracích. Základním přínosem této práce je: 1. Z výsledků 11-ti sad zkoušek byly stanoveny průměrné vlastnosti odpadu v oblasti materiálová a zrnitostní skladba, kalorické vlastnosti, fyzikálně chemické vlastnosti surové podsítné frakce a fyzikálně chemické vlastnosti kompostu z MBÚ. Tyto srovnávací analýzy i údaje o průměrných vlastnostech odpadu jsou zasazeny do rámce platné legislativy v oblasti nakládání s odpady, případně souvisejících oblastech. Závěry srovnávacích analýz jsou přehledně uvedeny v souhrnu za každou kapitolu.

The confrontation of the professional education in the area of tourism in the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation
Novitskaya, Alina ; Bakos, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vaško, Martin (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the problems of education in the area of tourism, first of all, with the existence of the specialized intermediate and high schools in the Czech Republic and in the Russian Federation. In the chapters of this thesis one can find a detailed analysis of the educational structure in both countries and statistical data from these areas. The most interesting chapter is about educational programs in the sphere of tourism granted by the European Union, by the means of the financial resources from the structural funds of the European Union. Another chapter of this thesis is dedicated to the comparative analysis between educational system in the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation.

Comparison of specific demographic and economic indicators in the Czech Republic and Sweden
Veselý, Václav ; Langhamrová, Jitka (advisor) ; Löster, Tomáš (referee)
Bachelor thesis describes differences and similarities in the demographic development between the Czech Republic and Sweden. The first part is focused on the systems of family policy in both countries. In the Czech Republic the main tool is the financial support for families with children. In Sweden the main aim is to provide mothers opportunities for both child care and their profession. In the next part it is written down the development of demographical indicators in the last 20 years. In the Czech Republic there is obvious the aging of population, while in Sweden the aging is not so strong. In the last 20 years the value of total fertility rate dropped at first, but later it rose again. In both countries women postpone childbearing into their higher ages. After standardization it's obvious that mortality in Sweden is much lower than in the Czech Republic. Life expectancy is rising in both countries. Both countries belong to the top of the world according to infant and neonatal mortality. Due to the decline in number of marriages after the year 1990 in the Czech Republic nowadays the marriage rate is at the similar level as in Sweden. Migration increase is quite variable, but both countries show permanently positive values. Both countries are compared according to the proportion of social protection expenditures on GDP or according to the total tax rate. In both indicators Sweden belongs to the countries with the highest level in Europe. At the end of the thesis the relationship between social policy and development of demographic indicators (especially birth rate) is shown. For the Czech Republic it's recommended to increase the number of nursery schools and to support part-time job.

A comparison of frequentist and Bayesian approaches to probability
Dupal, Pavel ; Karel, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bílková, Diana (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to provide a basic comparison between the classical (frequentist) and Bayesian schools of statistics on both the historical and the scientific level. The history of statistics is examined in short starting from the 17th century through the recent years. Key figures and discoveries are mentioned, as well as some of the occasions when the frequentist and Bayesian approaches clashed or influenced one another. Different interpretations of probability are listed and the Bayesian approach is introduced via Bayes' Theorem. The frequentist and Bayesian methods for point estimation, interval estimation and hypothesis testing are then described and compared. Every method is then further presented in an example and the results are evaluated using selected criteria.

The mirror comparison of Czech and German statistics of mutual trade
Heczková, Markéta ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Bílý, Jan (referee)
The final thesis is aimed at mirror comparison of mutual trade between the Czech Republic and Germany. On the basis of the comparison of Czech and German methodologies of foreign trade and consequential analysis of their mirror comparison focused especially on effect of the Czech Republic's accession to the EU (access effect) were individual abnormalities affecting mirror comparison identified and described. There were several solutions put forward so that already detected abnormalities could be effectively dissolved, moreover their figure in mirror comparison could be eliminated and data acquired from the comparison would reach as high level of credibility as possible. The Single flow and Qualified single flow systems are described and discussed in relation to mirror comparison because they are possible and already existing plans for simplification of Intrastat.

Ion structure characteristics of the bottled water and the comparison with water delivered through the common water supply
Kodetová, Barbora ; Bártová, Jiřina (advisor)
Cleft lip and palate is one of the most common congenital developmental defects . Morphological character defect has severe negative functional effects on swallowing , breathing, chewing and speech formation . aesthetically , the This is a significant handicap facial triad that affects the most overall facial appearance . Approximately 15 % of children have a defect associated with other disabilities , but isolated defect is neither lethal nor associated with mental failure . It is clear that the defect is a problem both health psychological and socio-economic . Therefore , the issue of treatment of patients with cleft recognized worldwide as so important that in this respect works close international cooperation, which is also included Czech Republic . It should be emphasized that the solution to the question of facial clefts has in the Czech Republic long tradition whose beginnings are associated with on behalf of Professor František Burian and Plastic Surgery Clinic in Prague, where he is currently the Center for cleft defects . The Czech Republic has center two , one already mentioned in Prague and one in Brno.

- EN The name of study: Monosaccharides and disaccharides classification by Creep testing Method Student: Mgr. Dana Frýdlová Tutor: Doc. RNDr. Milan Řehula, CSc. Consultant: Mgr. Roman Adámek Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: The whole process of tablet compression is depended on viscoelastic properties of fillers. Terms plasticity and elasticity are not clearly defined. In this area, their interpretation results from a method which is applied. Aim: In this study the Creep test was used for classification of viscoelastic properties of following fillers: sorbitol, manitol, saccharose, Tabletose and anhydrous lactose. Methods: Measurement was realized by a special apparature T1 - FRO 50 (producer: Zwick GmbH and Co, Ulm, Germany) and the compaction process was recorded by a special software, which was connected to the compressing device. Obtained data were processed by Origin Professional 7.5 and Microsoft Excel. Results: Monosaccharides were found to be more plastic and more pressable than disaccharides. The most plastic material was mannitol. Disacharides were more elastic than monosaccharides. Tabletose was the most elastic material. Anhydric form of lactose was more plastic than its monohydric...
