Intercultural education at secondary schools in practice

This Bachelor thesis maps intercultural education (multicultural education) in the practice of selected secondary schools in České Budějovice. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part defines the key terms (e.g. intercultural/multicultural, education), presents the evolution and an overview of key governmental documents and examples of projects aimed at the intercultural education in Czech Republic and abroad. In the practical part, the method of the implementation of the intercultural education is specified by the analysis of ŠVP (School Educational Programme) and websites of the target schools, a questionnaire survey and an interview.
Headmaster's competency at secondary technical schools with technical focus

The diploma thesis deals with the current topic of headmaster's competence at secondary vocational schools, technically oriented. The thesis is based on the general theory of competencies and competency models. It aims to identify the headmaster's competencies at the technical vocational school in Prague and based on these findings create the competence model. On the basis of the literature search, a research was carried out, its purpose was to find out what competences the those people possess, i.e. to identify these competencies and to compile a competence model. The questionnaire survey technique was used as the first, data collection technique. Within the questionnaire survey, all headmasters and deputy headmasters were approached at 15 secondary technical schools in Prague. The third group of respondents was consisted of the founder of these schools. Through the questionnaire survey, we determined the importance of individual competencies. The second used technique was a semi-structured interview with selected representatives of respondent groups (headmasters and deputy headmasters). The interview was used to verify observable formulations that are part of the competency model. Climate measurement at High School

v anglickém jazyce This bachelor thesis deals with school climate and different types of high school climate measurements. The goal is to use a standardized tool to explore the climate at the Prague high school. School climate fundamental terms are described in the theoretical part. The term school climate and climate are specified in this work. Because climate is a multi-meaning word. The first thing that many people think of is weather. However, this thesis deals with the concept of climate from the perspective of a social group. Interpersonal relationships, mood, atmosphere, environment, and feelings can be imagined under this term. The term climate is defined by many authors, some authors agree on the definition, and some contradict each other. In the introductory part of the thesis, the definitions of the term are described by several authors. The next chapter explains the types of school climate, and a separate chapter also describes what a positive school climate should look like. Moreover, the theoretical part is focused on factors which influence school climate and its creators. The last chapter of the theoretical part talks about the possibilities of school climate measurements. Teaching Economics at Vocational School from Perspective of Social Sciences Didactics

The diploma thesis on the topic "Teaching of Economics at a Secondary Vocational School from the Didactics of Social Sciences Perspective" is divided into two parts. The first part is a theoretical one, where the author defines the theoretical didactic concepts in detail, and they are then used in the second, practical part of the thesis. This part presents a proposal of a didactic unit, which deals with the teaching of wage calculation. It includes a worksheet and methodical sheet as well, the detailed didactic preparation and detailed reflection of the implemented didactic unit in the classroom and online teaching. Repeatedly practising this didactic unit, it can be noted that the proposed form of teaching is effective and accepted by students. Personal and social skills, mathematical skills and critical thinking training also go beyond the main topic.
Forms of art studies in secondary vocational education

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of secondary vocational schools, specifically secondary art schools completed by the graduation exam. The Czech Republic has a relatively dense network of these schools, however, from the point of view of pedagogy it is insufficiently researched. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to describe art education at secondary schools in the Czech Republic, to state the forms of art disciplines at secondary schools, the organization of teaching in specific forms of art studies and the curriculum of subjects. The work also deals with issues of the number of art schools in the Czech Republic, with the qualifications of teachers at these schools and the number of pupils admitted to these schools. The didactic part of the work will be devoted to qualitative research focused on the form of graphic design, as the most numerous form of art study represented at secondary vocational art education. The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders.

The theses titled "The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders"is divided into two main parts - the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of individual disorders, epidemiology and the factors with influence on the emergence of disorders. Next the symptoms and effects of eating disorders in children and adolescents are described as is the treatment and the field of prevention. The practical part is then focused on the research of awareness of students of the problematics of eating disorders, with evaluation of the questionnaire survey. Besides the level of awareness of students, the subject of the research were the most common sources of information on the matter and the influence of the location of schools in the Czech Republic on the awareness. The results of the practical part showed that the grammar school students have highest level of awareness and are followed by the secondary vocational school students and the primary school students in Prague. The worst informed group consisted of the primary school students in the Central Bohemian Region. This diploma thesis The issue of inclusion in practice at a selected secondary vocational school and primary school in the district of Mělník deals issues of inclusion in elementary, lower secondary and vocational education of a student with specific educational needs. It allows zooming in the issue of the inclusion in practise especially from the point of the key pedagogical staff being involved in education of an included student. For a presentation of the development of her education a case study has been set. Defining a role of a teacher's assistant during the process of education. Comparing the running of inclusion of a student during lower secondary with vocational education. Issues of a student during practical training at the work place. Methods of a structured interview with key pedagogical staff were used in this theses with afterwards summary and interpretation of the results. The aim of this thesis is to conduct a survey of the issue of inclusion in practise, define same features and differences in the approach and in possibilities of an inclusion.
