The job content of teaching assistant in distance learning

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of teaching assistants during distance learning in primary schools. The declaration of a state of emergency in March 2020 created a completely new situation for teaching staff that they had to deal with. In this work, the content of the work of teaching assistants in this period will be monitored, the support of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds by these teaching staff and, last but not least, the changes that took place among teaching assistants after the return to traditional face-to-face teaching will be mentioned.
Principles of experiential pedagogy and its use in music lessons

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is primarily the principles of experiential pedagogy. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the reader to basic pedagogical concepts, the development of Music, and the term experiential pedagogy. The practical part is focused on working with primary school pupils in music lessons. The goal is to show some of the experiential methods that can be used to make music education more effective and fun.

Title: The use of formative assessment in physical education in primary schools in Písek Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the current state of the use of formative assessment in the teaching of physical education at the second level of primary schools in Písek. To focus on whether the elements of formative assessment are applied in teaching and whether they are used purposefully. To find out whether and how the students's personality is being developed during physical education lessons. Methods: To achieve the objectives, a non-participant observation method and a non- standardized questionnaire was used and piloted. The observation method was used to capture the process of physical education classes with regard to the use of formative assessment elements. Subsequently, a questionnaire was presented to the teachers of the lessons in question and their responses were compared with the results of the observation. Results: It was found that formative assessment (assessment for learning) occurs to a very limited extent in physical education classes in the form of sub- elements of the formative approach. Burnout syndrome in the teaching profession

Title: The Burnout Syndrome of Teachers Profession Objectives: The objectives of the thesis were to describe the rate of burnout of teachers at elementary schools, high schools, and gymnasiums. The aim of this work was also to compare burnout rate of different groups of teachers which are linked sociodemographic and professional characteristics and to describe teachers' opinions of the burnout syndrome. Methods: We used a questionnaire survey in the practical part of the thesis. 653 respondents participated. The questionnaire survey consisted of the MBI questionnaire and items created by the author of the thesis. The Survio internet platform was used for distribution. The snowball sampling, nonprobability sampling and sampling across institutions were employed to select respondents. The Excel and Statistica software were used to analyse the data. Results: We found a high degree of emotional exhaustion in 34 % of teachers, a high degree of depersonalization in 12 % of teachers and a low degree of personal accomplishment in 26 % of teachers. This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of the well-being of primary school teachers, and the possibilities for supporting well-being by the teachers themselves and the school management. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and research. The theory is elaborated into four chapters and summarizes the findings of the specialized literature. The first chapter presents the basic concept of well-being, including terms that were previously synonymous and are now an essential part of it. The next chapter is devoted to the topic of well-being itself. It offers a summary of existing theories, defines and describes the area of well-being, and conveys a view of teacher well-being. The third chapter collects information in the area of well-being care. It draws attention to the threatening factors that have an impact on the mental health and work capacity of the teacher, which include, for example, stress or burnout syndrome. It also conveys knowledge of how to improve well-being. The last chapter is devoted to the role of well-being in education. Choice of teaching profession through the eyes of teachers

As the title suggests, this bachelor's thesis is devoted to the choice of a teaching profession. It aims to find out why people decide to become teachers, what leads them to this decision and whether they regret their decision. Three research questions are set out and answers are sought through a research investigation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part attempts to give the reader an insight into the issue and describes the starting points that are crucial for the practical part. The practical part is devoted to the research investigation. A qualitative approach was chosen, specifically the in-depth interview method. A total of six interviews were conducted with current teachers. Based on the data obtained from the interviews, the research questions were answered. The results of the research investigation are quite clear. Teachers do not perceive their profession as prestigious. They see room for improvement mainly in financial evaluation and the view of the public. Despite the perception that their profession is not prestigious, teachers are satisfied with their career. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on teaching techniques and strategies

The impact of the Covid 19 epidemic on instructional methods and practices is examined in the diploma thesis. The thesis seeks to ascertain Covid 19's effect on modifications to learning methods and strategies. The objective is to identify the changes that will take place. Identifying obstacles and figuring out whether teachers are interested in changing their teaching methods. Theoretical material includes searches of relevant literature and other sources. Primarily findings of the Czech School Inspection; judgments and suggestions from the Ministry of Education and Sports are also included. The results of the questionnaire survey are the main topic of the practical section. The quantitative study was conducted using a questionnaire among instructors. (specifically, 101 respondents). The output is recommendations on how to incorporate changes into teaching, such as through subsidies, as well as recommendations on how to employ various teaching apps that do not require financial subsidies. The role of the teacher assistant in the process of inclusive education in primary and secondary schools

This diploma thesis consists of the role of teaching assistant in an inclusive education in elementary and middle school. Theorethical part is devided into four parts and explains theorethical points. It discusses the position of the teaching assistant, the assistant's role in the education of pupils with and without special educational needs, the cooperation of the teaching assistant with other teachers and parents and last but not least about the pupils with special educational needs and their education. Empirical part is focused on the role of the teaching assistant in the process of an inclusive education in an selected elementary and middle school, in which it contains a qualitative study, which results in a situational study of the school. Semi- structured interviews were used in the research as well as observation and analysis of documents. The goal of this research is to analyse the work of teaching assistants at the selected school. The results of this research bring information about how the teaching assistant profession is perceived and used at this specific school. The diploma thesis can be used as an example of a good practice on how to use the teaching assistant in an inclusive education.
Cooperation Between a Beginning Teacher in the First Year of Primary School and a Teaching Assistant

The first chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the pupil at the beginning of school attendance. Then it is devoted to the characteristics of the educators, the teacher and teaching assistant, and their necessary mutual cooperation. It describes their competences and personal prerequisites for this profession. The novice teacher and the mentoring associated with him/her are not omitted. The theoretical part is followed by the empirical part, which is based on a qualitative research investigation in the form of a case study in which participant observation and semi-structured interviews were conducted. It sets out to describe the collaboration between a teaching assistant and a beginning first year teacher in a particular primary school.
