Company Performance Evaluation Using the Start Mode

The diploma thesis focuses on evaluating the performance of the company SONET, s.r.o. over the period of 2018-2022. Financial analysis and the START model will be utilized for the evaluation. The first part deals with the theoretical background to provide a better understanding of the issue at hand. The following section contains financial analysis and evaluation of the model, based on which the final part of the thesis will propose potential improvements for the company.
Impostor phenomenon and self-esteem among Czech university students

The aim of this thesis was to map the impostor phenomenon among Czech university student. A mixed design was chosen, the qualitative part of the thesis aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon and to find out how students experience it. The quantitative part included the Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale questionnaire. Out of three hypotheses, one was confirmed, namely that Czech university students would score above 61 on average on the Clance IP Scale questionnaire. The other two hypotheses, i.e. that females will score higher on the IF than males and that first year undergraduate students will experience IF to a greater extent than upper year students, were not confirmed. In the qualitative part of the thesis, common themes such as high expectations of oneself, family influence and inability to accept praise emerged. Application of Dunningova-Kruger effect in interviewing and hiring

The aim of this work is to use the Dunning-Kruger effect, a cognitive bias in which individuals with limited expertise tend to overestimate their abilities, as a skill assessment tool in employee selection. The theoretical section examines and explains the Dunning-Kruger effect, discusses the original study, and provides additional examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect from other studies. It also delineates the theory related to personnel issues. In the practical section, specific areas of testing are researched, and an experiment is conducted on students who are given tests to determine their ability to correctly assess their knowledge and skills in the areas of social intelligence, English language, and logical reasoning. Based on the results, the difference between their performance on the tests and their self-assessment is examined. In the discussion and conclusion, the results are interpreted and recommendations are proposed to personnel managers. The findings show that the effect is most pronounced when estimating ability of social intelligence and English. Self-assessment of logic skills proved to be the most reliable.
Pedagogical Diagnostics in Kindergarten - methodology for teacher.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on pedagogical diagnostics and its functional implementation in the environment of a kindergarten. The theoretical part characterizes the concept of pedagogical diagnostics, its methods, work with a child's portfolio, and the perspective of the Czech School Inspectorate on pedagogical diagnostics. The practical part describes and implements a diagnostic methodological material that can be used by teachers for diagnostic activities in preschool education, by children for self as sessment and reflection on their knowledge, abilities, and skills.
A Company Performance Evaluation Using the EFQM Excellence Model

The master´s thesis is focused on the performance evaluation for the MIKROP ČEBÍN a.s. company using the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the definition of performance and the ways in which it can be measured and evaluated. The current situation of the company is characterized in the analytical part. The evaluation is performed according to the START Model questionnaire, which is derived from the EFQM Model of Excellence. The final part contains measures leading to increase the company's performance.
Company Performance Assessment according to Model Start Plus and Proposals for the Improvement

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the performance of a selected company using one of the evaluation models, namely the Start Plus model. Based on this model, an analysis of the company was performed, the output of which was the identification of the company's strengths and areas for improvement. In selected areas changes have been propesed aiming to reduce costs and streamline processes of the company.
The Performance Evaluation of the Company using the EFQM Excellence Model

The diploma thesis is focused on the performance evaluation of a selected company using the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part defines the concept of performance and methods of its measuring. The analytical part is devoted to the introduction of the selected company and the evaluation of its performance through the START model, which is based on the EFQM Excellence Model methodology. Based on the results of the evaluation, strengths and areas for improvement are identified, from which proposals for measures to improve the company's performance are based.

Proposals for improvement of the current situation are suggested in the last chapter.

The master thesis deals with performance evaluation of business corporation PBS POWER EQUIPMENT, s.r.o. This performance evaluation is done through START Model, based on the EFQM Model Excellence. The theoretical part is focused on the description of selected methods of performance evaluation of the company with an emphasis on EFQM Model Excellence. In the practical part PBS POWER EQUIPMENT, s.r.o. is introduced, it's economic activity is presented and on the basis of Model START performance evaluation is made. At the end, series of recommendations to improve the performance of the analyzed company is presented.
