Tato práce si stanovila za cíl zmapovat impostor fenomén u českých vysokoškolských studentů. Byl zvolen smíšený design, v kvalitativní části práce šlo o hlubší pochopení tohoto fenoménu a zjištění, jak ho studenti prožívají. Kvantitativní část obsahovala dotazník Clance Impostor phenomenon scale. Ze tří hypotéz byla potvrzen jedna a sice že čeští vysokoškolští studenti budou v dotazníku Clance IP scale v průměru skórovat nad 61 bodů. Ostatní dvě hypotézy, tedy že ženy budou skórovat v IF výš, než muži a studenti prvních ročníků bakalářského studia budou pociťovat IF ve větší míře než studenti z vyšších ročníků, potvrzeny nebyly. V kvalitativní části práce se objevovaly společná témata jako vysoké nároky na sebe sama, vliv rodiny a neschopnost přijímat pochvaly. A mixed design was chosen, the qualitative part of the thesis aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon and to find out how students experience it. The quantitative part included the Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale questionnaire. Out of three hypotheses, one was confirmed, namely that Czech university students would score above 61 on average on the Clance IP Scale questionnaire. The other two hypotheses, i.e. that females will score higher on the IF than males and that first year undergraduate students will experience IF to a greater extent than upper year students, were not confirmed. In the qualitative part of the thesis, common themes such as high expectations of oneself, family influence and inability to accept praise emerged.
