The current effectivness of bankruptcy prediction models in the conditions of Central and Eastern Europe

Bachelor’s thesis describes issues of bankruptcy risk. It fleshes out key concepts related to bankrupt, introduces financial analysis like a instrument of evaluation enterprise financial situation and specifically deals with prediction bankruptcy models. Metodology of model construction is introduced and ROC curves as an efficiency testing method. Case study makes evaluation of accuracy for five chosen models in sector small and medium enterprises manufacturing industry of central and eastern Europe. Concluding part narrates possibility modification of models for accuracy increase.

The bachelor thesis focuses on evaluation of the financial situation of RAF Armatury s.r.o. for the period 2016-2020. Information needed to evaluate the financial situation have been drawn from annual reports and financial statements. The text is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the theoretical description of individual methods and indicators that assess the financial health of the company. The second part practically applies the knowledge from the theoretical part on the analysed company. The last part presents a proposal of practical steps to improve the current situation of the company.

The bachelor thesis focuses on evaluation of the financial situation of the company Kayaku Safety Systems Europe a.s. and proposals for improvement for the period 2016-2020. The whole work is divided into theoretical and a practical part. The first, theoretical, part deals with an explanation of basic terms, which will later be used in the processing of the practical part. In the following practical part are mentioned basic terms for the analyzed company and its competitors Austin Detonator s.r.o. The final part of this thesis presents suggestions on how to improve the situation of the company.

The second part focuses on the theoretical background, which is applied in the analytical part. In the fourth part, solutions for improving the financial situation of the company are proposed.

The first part is devoted to theoretical concepts related to financial analysis. The practical part contains the analysis of the company itself, including the calculation of selected indicators. Finally, measures are proposed to improve the financial situation of the company.

Financial Plan of a Small Company

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem finančního plánu na zřízení mobilního kávového stánku s holandskými palačinkami na Zelném trhu v Brně. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje základní pojmy finančního plánu, návod na sestavení finančního plánu, finanční analýzu a další oblasti související s finančním plánem. Analytická část se zabývá představením podnikatelského nápadu, primárním a sekundárním průzkumem trhu, analýzou konkurence, identifikací počátečních nákladů a podkladů pro projekce prodeje. Cílem analytické části je identifikovat vstupy do procesu tvorby finančního plánu. Návrhová část obsahuje finanční plán, který je následně analyzován a vyhodnocen. Cílem návrhové části je především zjistit, zda se tento podnikatelský nápad vyplatí realizovat.
