The role of the evil and the good sister in Perrault's fairy tales
Ciprová, Hana ; Fučíková, Milena (advisor) ; Listíková, Renáta (referee)
v anglickém jazyce This bachelor's thesis deals with ways of conception of the role of evil and kind sister in the fairy tales written by well-known French author Charles Perrault. These ways are compared with methods of current writer Patrick Chamoiseau. The goal of this thesis is to show the identical traits by using analytical and subsequent comparative method. These identical features were revealed on the basis of work with fairytale texts Cendrillon ou La petite pantoufle en verre, Les fées and La Barbe Bleue in Czech translation Popelka aneb Skleněný střevíček, Víly and Modrovous. These attributes become the main criterions of comparison of achieved results with elements which can be found in a fairy tale called La plus belle est à l'en-bas de la baille in Czech translation Nejhezčí je pod žlabem. This study aspires to answer the question if it is possible to declare these three mentioned fairy tales written by Charles Perrault as a possible source of inspiration how to understand characters of kind and evil sister in work of Patrick Chamoiseau. The following part of this thesis is a brief insight into the issue of fairy tales including presentation of up to now research and the difficulties which this genre provides. On the basis of this work, it is possible to consider the methods of...
Convergence of waste management instruments in selected EU countries
Vaculík, Jan ; Ullrichová, Eliška (advisor) ; Váška, Jan (referee)
The thesis deals with the topic of waste management, with a specific focus on instruments and their application in selected EU Member States. The thesis builds on the theory of policy convergence. The aim of the thesis was to analyse selected waste management instruments in specific EU Member States with the assumption of possible convergence. The research method of the thesis was a comparison of the application of the three instruments between the countries. These were the instruments of prohibition, taxation and pay-as-you-throw. The initial assumption for the research was that countries having similar performance on the three levels of the waste management hierarchy would converge on waste management tools. The research timeframe was from 2008, when the EU Waste Framework Directive was issued, defining targets for recycling rate levels by 2025, to 2022, when the EEA summary reports on the waste management of all EU Member States were issued. The research question that this paper addressed and sought to answer was whether the Member States with the best performance with respect to the EU waste hierarchy and targets introduced the same selected instruments to achieve these targets between 2008 and 2022. The resulting findings stated that there was no introduction of banning and taxing instruments...
Differences in the perception of the brands adidas and Nike by Swedish and Czech consumers
Chudá, Eliška ; Opelík, Daniel (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
Title: Differences in the perception of the brands adidas and Nike by Swedish and Czech consumers Objectives: The goal of my bachelor's thesis is to find and describe specific differences between Czech and Swedish consumers in terms of their views on two sports brands adidas and Nike. A sub-objective is to evaluate the results for each country separately. Methods: A quantitative method was used to collect and gather data for the bachelor thesis. Two electronic questionnaires in Czech and Swedish were made to find out the perception of the brands adidas and Nike. The results of the questionnaires are captured in graphs and tables and then a comparison is made. The translation was done using direct modified translation. Results: The research shows that brands are perceived very positively in both countries. Czech athletes have a slightly more positive attitude towards brands, Swedes have a more neutral one. There was a similarity in the evaluation of the influence of selected characteristics for both brands in the compared countries. Keywords: sports brand, Czech Republic, Sweden, customer perception, comparison, brand equity, brand positioning
New codification or just redaction of the original one? Comparison of Czech land constitutions from years 1500 and 1549
Stojan, Marek ; Starý, Marek (advisor) ; Kindl, Vladimír (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on the comparison of two crucial legal codes of the Bohemian common law of the first half of the 16th century, i.e. Vladislavské zřízení zemské and Zřízení zemské of 1549. The aim is to answer the question whether it is possible to perceive Zemské zřízení of 1549 in the same way as it is understood by the majority of the current historiography, meaning whether Zemské zřízení of 1549 is only the redaction of Vladislavské zřízení zemské. I want to concentrate on the thought if it is necessary to reconsider the general view on this matter. It may be established that these legal codes are relatively independent works due to their dissimilarities as they differ significantly in their origin, authors, historical context, central ideas, and structure. In general, the distribution of power is a key aspect of forming the law, which applies not only to the early modern period, and this idea is reflected in the structure and content of both these codifications. In the first chapter, I focus on the contextualisation of both codes from the point of view of the legal history and discuss the political science thinking of selected classical authors. My next goal is to describe the legal development not only in the Kingdom of Bohemia but in the Moravian Margraviate as well as, this...
Levels of physical activity, fitness and obesity in primary school pupils in the Czech Republic and selected European countries
Uher, Vít ; Dlouhý, Martin (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
The aim of this study was to determine and then compare the level of physical activity, physical fitness and obesity among primary school pupils in the Czech Republic and other selected European countries. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the concept of physical activity and physical fitness. It also discusses the characteristics, causes and consequences of obesity and the interrelationship between these three areas. The research part of the thesis is based on a quantitative survey in which available data on physical activity levels, physical fitness levels and the prevalence of obesity in primary school pupils in the Czech Republic and other selected European countries were collected, analysed and compared. The results of the survey showed that the results of the Czech Republic compared to the selected countries are different, disjointed, some of them contradictory. The data of some countries are not presented in the compared research, come from a different period or are collected on different age groups. For this reason, comprehensive research at a transnational level would be needed. Keywords: fitness, school age, comparison, exercise, children
Determination of the price of usual immovable property in co-ownership
Froľová, Simona ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (referee) ; Vařechová, Martina (advisor)
The thesis deals with the settlement of co-ownership shares through the determination of the usual price for a selected real estate property. The first part of the thesis focuses on a literature review and legal case studies, as well as the explanation of terms related to the issue and the definition of the procedure for settling co-ownership. Furthermore, the selected property, which will be the subject of the settlement, is described along with a description of the locality in which it is located. In the second part of the thesis, the actual procedure for settling co-ownership is elaborated, including the determination of the usual price for the various methods of settlement – transferring the share to one owner and compensating the other with an appropriate amount, dividing the property and possibly compensating to the extent of the share, and selling the property through a public auction. In the cases of share transfer and sale through public auction, the usual price was determined by the direct comparison method from realized prices. The residential units that resulted from the division of the property were also appraised using the comparison method from data created in the database.
Study of Fly-over Crossing High Speed Track with Conventional Line Near Vranovice
Drcmánek, Roman ; Beňák, Ľubomír (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of the work was to design a crossing of the VRT South Moravia with the conventional line of the railway siding Pohořelice - Vranovice. Furthermore, to model the crossing in 3D, which serves as a preparation for BIM. The beginning of the section of the designed siding is located on the outskirts of the village of Vranovice and the end of the section near the village of Přibice. The solution is proposed in 2 variants, which were then compared with the possibility of complete cancellation of the railway siding.

Deep Learning for 3D Mesh Registration
Zatiaľ čo Lepard má translačnú chybu 6.73% veľkosti modelu a rotačnú chybu 7.265 stupňov.
