Information System for Project Management and Collaboration Support

Project management is used in increasing number of companies. Competition on the market requires companies to work more efficiently and approach separate orders as independent projects. Teams that work on the projects consist of employees from different departments, from subcontractors and from the client as well. Rapid development of broadband internet connection changed work methods and use of information technology. Thanks to ubiquitous internet connection software application delivery model known as Software as a Service (SaaS) is gaining on popularity. Main aim of this project is to design an information system that would support project management and allow effective team communication and collaboration.

The Use of Metohods of the Project Management in Company

Dissertation deals with a draft of the system for monitoring and planning of attendance of promoters on the stores of the Slovakian store chain NAY, where the project management is used for securing of versatilely effective project. PEST, SWOT, RIPRAN of analysis and analysis of risks are used in this draft. It contains the plan of solution from the schematic imaging to the graphic previews and time schedule of realization. This is the real project from practice which should be realized based on this dissertation and commercially spread and innovated.

Diploma thesis is focused on the assessment of the information system and the proposal for ICT modification of specific company. The first part of thesis concerns with systematic formulation of the theoretical background which is necessary for the explanation of important concepts from the field of information systems. The practical part deals with the analysis of the company as a whole and especially with the analysis of IS. In the last part of thesis are proposed options how to achieve an improvement of the current state of business information system and information technology in the selected company based on the analysis and identification of problems of the current state of the information system.

This diploma thesis covers with the utilization of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters focusing on mathematical and economical methods. The thesis contains overview of methods usable in various types of aircraft operation. It also deals with creation of Cessna 208B aircraft`s schedule of work. Network graphs are used for analysis purposes. The diploma thesis also includes methodology of information obtainment and requirements determination of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters.

Application Framework for Information System Development in Dart

Web applications development nowadays is experiencing specific difficulties in presentation layer that could be solved by a framework that combines modern technologies and novel framework approach. The difficulties are introduced, along with their solution in existing web frameworks. Novel, message-driven framework architecture, basic component structure and various framework extensions are analysed and outcomes and effects are discussed. Technical problems with implementation of generally analysed solutions in the Dart language are examined. The decisions and solutions are accompanied by their effects on real-world applications.
