Methodology of korfball in primary school

TITLE: Methodology of korfball in primary school AUTHOR: Andrea Lhotáková DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Věra Kuhnová ABSTRACT: This thesis is focused on the preparation of basic methodology of korfbal for beginners - primary school children. The methodology is intended for PE teachers in basic schools, especially primary school teachers. They could use findings from this study in PE lessons or in afterschool activities groups focused on korfball. The theoretical part deals with basic information about korfball including its history and presents the modification of korfball called monokorfball. The thesis focuses on the basic methodology of korfball skills with basic exercises, such as work with the ball /passing, shot, catching etc./. The short analysis of the status of the coach/teacher and the organization of training are mentioned, too. The practical part compares the suitability of korfball and monokorfball on a group of primary school pupils by the method of experiment. The thesis includes a set of six basic training lessons for beginning players and coaches. The work also evaluates the views of pupils on korfball according to a simple questionnaire. The regress of the children from the intitutional education bact to the family

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the return of children from the institutional care back to the family with the support and cooperation with parents and social workers from social legal child protection and social stimulating services for parents with children. It is a theoretical empirical work based on experiences with realization the return of the child from the institutional care in the area of the town Litvínov. Apart from the practical experience according to the said social workers, the work is also based on the author's theoretical knowledge, which has been gained during the study of professional literature in the field of social pedagogy and by self-studying in the stated problematic. The thesis is focused on the family background, the family cure, the institutional care and activities of social workers during the period when the child was been returning into the family. The empirical part is an illustrational preview into the problematic of the return of children from the institutional care back to the family.

This thesis is focused on the educational measures imposed on children and juveniles with behavioral disorders. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge of social norms in society, psychosocial child development and behavioral disorders. There are also presented the possibilities of the social pedagogical work with children and juveniles with behavioral disorders and the educational measures imposed on children and juveniles with behavioral disorders. The practical part is based on qualitative research. The research is focused on the evaluation of the educational measures effects on concrete juveniles. The bachelor's thesis comprises two main parts: translation of a section of Chapter 4 from Maryanne Wolf's book Proust and the Squid and a commentary of the translation. The commentary is a reflection of the translation process and consists of translation analysis based on Christiane Nord's model, description of translation problems and their solutions and typology of translation shifts as defined by Anton Popovič. A copy of the translated text is attached in the appendix.
The Specifics of Children Interrogation

Title of thesis: The Specifics of Children Interrogation Keywords: interrogation, child, sexual abuse Summary The thesis deals with specifics typical for interrogation of children, which means persons under eighteen years old. Unlike adults, a child psyche is characterized by many specifics that have to be considered during interrogation as well. The aim of the thesis is to point to basic specifics related to interrogation of children situated in various procedural positions - either in the position of aggrieved, witness or accused. The character of offense, and the part a child has taken in committing it, influences interrogator's approach and overall choice of tactics. Only a properly conducted interrogation can bring enough information useful in pretrial and following trial proceedings. For clarity the thesis is divided into two basic parts, namely the legal part and the criminal psychological part. First Part: Legal Aspects First chapter informs about basic terms I use in the thesis - it determines the terms of a child, a minor, children under fifteen, it points out various concepts of interrogation. Second chapter is devoted to individual procedural positions a child may occur in. Preparing the teachers for the integration of the children with autistic spektrum disorders into regular primary school

The diploma with title Preparing the teachers for the integration of the children with autistic spektrum disorders into regular primary school aims in its theoretical part acquaint the reader with the concept of autistic spectrum disorders, the classification and individual characteristics closer disorders. It provides an overview of suitable approaches, forms and methods of work with these children, educational opportunities and further aims at integration into mainstream schools. In its research section it aims to penetrate deeper into the issue of preparing teachers to integrate pupils with autism and a description of its subsequent course. Based on qualitative research methods, namely semi-structured interviews and document research presents a collection of opinions, attitudes, experiences, recommendations and advice on how to integrate teachers and school principals, as well as opinions and attitudes of teachers who don't have experience with integration. The results of the investigation could be a base for further research of a quantitative nature.
Education of Noble Women in the Bohemian Lands, 18th - 19th Centuries

(in English): The presented bachelor's thesis is going to outline the progress and the form of an educational process of girls in an aristocratic environment in the Bohemian Lands, particularly in the 18th - 19th century. By using literature sources and graduate's works, it describes the education of noble girls from their birth up to the completion of the educational process in the convent school or by an educational trip to Europe, respectively up to the weddings and starting their own families. Besides the requirements for education of noble children, including specific structure of subjects, the thesis pays attention to the people who provide upbringing and teaching - that are nannies, governesses and teachers. The thesis also deals with the Enlightenment and educational views of contemporary thinkers from John Locke to Johann Friedrich Herbart. By way of example of educational instructions and reflections written by noble ladies, the phenomenon of enlightened "new mother" is demonstrated. The institutions providing support and education to unmarried noble women and girls from impoverished families, such as the institutes for noble women and foundation, are mentioned as well.
The Role of Primary School Teachers in Moral Education

This theoretical bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of an primary-school teacher in moral education of a child. It defines important moral conceptions related to these problems. This thesis explains the mechanisms of the socialization and social learning processes which are a precondition of moral education. The text also describes theories of moral judgment development of an individual and points out opportunities of their implementation into the work of a teacher. Specific aspects of teacher's role in moral education of a child form an individual chapter. Attention is paid here especially to the teacher being as an important educational model, his fundamental personal characteristics and authority. The following part of this chapter defines the terms discipline and education of students' character. The last chapter concentrates on the teacher and possibilities of moral education in the context of Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
