Comparison of the development of the Czech and Polish ballet scene in the years 1945 - 1970

This dissertation delves into the fascinating world of ballet, one of the most expressive and fantastic artistic disciplines. Its primary focus is to analyse and compare the development of the Czech and Polish ballet scene between 1945 and 1970 in order to shed light on certain key phases and issues, such as the emancipation and recognition of ballet as a specific artistic discipline. The dissertation also focuses on the career paths of ballet dancers, examining the advantages and disadvantages associated with this career, including financial reward. The structure of the thesis is divided into seven key chapters (source evaluation, methodological section, five thematic chapters), supplemented by an introduction, conclusion, lists and appendices. The first chapter focuses on significant changes in the interwar period, which are considered essential for understanding the development of the post-war ballet scene in Czechoslovakia and Poland. The chapter also focuses on the personalities whose legacy influenced subsequent generations of ballet artists. A separate chapter is devoted to dance education at three levels, exploring the causes and consequences of differences with potential implications for future developments. This diploma thesis focuses on comparison of selected competing companies on the Polish market and recommendation for the selected company called Kolštejn wellness center with the goal of regaining Polish clients. The company provides hospitality and provision of wellness services as is visible from the company name. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part describes goals, methods and processing procedures. At the same time it is dedicated to the theoretical background of the thesis which is necessary for correct understanding and comprehension of the issue. Second part contains the application of the findings. Based on provided research and identified facts, concrete proposals and recommendations for improving the situation in the last part of the thesis.

Comparison of Innovation Activities in Selected Countries

The bachelor thesis brings comparison of three selected countries, the Czech Republic, Canada and Poland, from the perspective of six indicators – innovativeness of companies, corruption perceived by citizens, engagement of stakeholders in forming legislation, female representation in the parliament, skills and abilities of students and future quality of life. The thesis includes thorough analysis of dependence among these indicators and provides recommendations derived from them that would increase the quantity and quality of innovation within Czech companies.

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje kritické analýze vstupu společnosti Student Agency na německý trh a srovnání s analýzou vstupu téže společnosti na trh polský. V první části se práce zabývá teoretickými poznatky k jednotlivým metodám analýzy provedeným v praktické části této práce. Další část se poté zabývá samotnou společností Student Agency jako takovou, jejím vývojem a všemi službami, které poskytuje konečným zákazníkům. Praktická část poté analyzuje společnost pomocí několika různých marketingových metod, mezi které patří například Porterův model pěti sil nebo SWOT analýza. V závěru práce shrnuje autor analýzu vstupu na německý trh a zároveň je zde poskytnuto srovnání s analýzou vstupu společnosti na polský trh.

Comparison of Personal Income tax in the Czech Republic and Poland

The bachelor thesis compares the taxation of individuals in the Czech Republic and Poland. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts in tax issues and tax systems in both countries. The next section describes the procedures for taxing employees. And the third presents model examples with the procedure of calculating the net wage. The last part deals with the comparison of the results from the numerical part and proposals for the optimization of the tax burden.
