Beginning teacher from the point of view of daeling with professional qualities

The thesis "Beginning teacher from the point of view of dealing with professional qualities" reacts to the actual theme of seeking professional competencies of teachers and of suitable evaluation methods. It focuses on the work of beginning teachers and their professional quality and on further incentives for their professional growth. At the same time identifies what helps novice teachers during the first years of teaching activities. In the theoretical part knowledge and opinions of specialists are summarized and organized into three chapters. The experts were selected according to themes: teacher quality, professional competence, teaching profession, training of teachers and their support in practice. The practical part presents qualitative research which through the research methods (questionnaire, interview, data analysis, case study) describes the reality of beginning teachers work in primary school. The research try to answer the question: How teachers in the early years of practice manage its activities to evaluate their professional quality, what are dealing with and what helps them to be a good teacher. Diplomová práce se zabývá programem RWCT v souvislosti s výukou českého jazyka na 1. stupni ZŠ. Teoretická část zpracovává informace z odborné literatury. Tyto informace se týkají trendů v oblasti základního vzdělávání, konkrétněji pak trendů ve výuce českému jazyku a literatuře. Zabývá se východisky a základní charakteristikou programu RWCT a významem tohoto programu pro výuku českého jazyka na 1. stupni ZŠ. Praktická část má za úkol provázat teoretická východiska s praxí a popisuje konkrétní výuku metodami RWCT a další postupy ve výuce. Differentiation in school curriculum at primary school

The thesis is focused on differentiation in school curriculum at primary schools. Its aim is to describe the conditions and schemes of differentiation in school curriculum at selected primary schools in Prague and to confirm if and how they are fullfilled in the classes. It is focused mainly on care for the groups of children to whom differentiation is highly recommended. These are children with specific educational needs and talented children. The practical part of the thesis presents results of qualitative research in casuistries of selected Prague primary schools, their school curriculum and practical use of the differentiation of education in their classes. The casuistries contain descriptions of functional and tested models of individualization and differentiation at these schools. Of organizational structures (as they are described in theory) combinations of these are used most often: intrinsic differentiation (in common classes) - individually or in groups (sometimes with pedagogical assistant) and group extrinsic differentiation, that is formed as special care for children either with specific educational needs or talented children. Teacher the beginner

My Diploma Thesis "Newly qualified teachers" is devoted to new teachers with less than 3 years of teaching experience after they graduated from accredited college and received a degree as a teacher. My focus is on the teachers in elementary schools. The goal of the theoretical part of my thesis is to collect technical information, opinions, ideas and knowledge from experts in the teaching profession in general, to characterize the new teacher's personality. In the few chapters I ponder possible fears, concerns, weaknesses and needs of the new teachers, and I also mention problematic field of the evaluation and self assessment of a new teacher. The content of the practical part of my thesis is exploratory inquiry using a method of survey. The goal of the questions and answers is to find out if the orientation of new teachers in elementary schools is functioning well with prepared orientation plan, and to identify and map out the problem areas that the new, inexperienced teachers feel in the beginning of their teaching carrier, and subsequently to detect and identify the new teachers' needs. This thesis focuses on the issue of using the RWCT programme as well as components of Drama in Education in Czech language and literature classes in primary schools, especially when working with artistic texts. The theoretical part depicts the new concept of education, key competencies, goals in primary education and the importance of reading literacy. It presents information about the programmes of Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking (RWCT) and Drama in Education along with their goals, contents and methods and working with artistic texts. It also defines their identical and different components. The practical part examines how to work with one text in different ways and observes how individual goals in school classes change when using different methods of RWCT and Drama in Education. Decroly Pedagogy and the Possibility of Usage in Czech School

This thesis describes the alternative educational system of Ovide Decroly. It details the forms by which it is nowadays applied in particular Belgian schools using the Decroly system. Further it outlines its potential uses in Czech school as an inspiration for solving contemporary problems and needs of our educational system. Decroly belonged to the reformatory pedagogues of the beginning of the 20th century. His concept was based on understanding of the natural interests and needs of children and emphasized the necessity of global learning that includes global method of reading and writing.
Impulses of Freinet's pedagogy useful for the czech education

This thesis is focused on Frenchman Celestin Freinet's pedagogy. The theoretical part first deals with the notion of alternative education and seeks to outline the features of the different types of schools in the Czech republic. In addition, a brief biography focuses on Celestin Freinet and describes the basic features and principles of his pedagogy. This part also examine teaching methods and techniques typical of the pedagogy and focuses in detail on one of them, the school magazine. The practical part documents a case study of one Swiss Freinet's school. It describes methods and techniques that are used there, especially the school magazine creation. The second part is dedicated to the practical experiment, which was carried out in the second class of one Czech school. Experiment focuses on a specific technique of free writing and the possibility of integrating this school magazine technique in teaching at the standart Czech school.

The pedagogue also chooses certain evaluation method to show individual progress or pupil margin and on their basis choose corresponding way of work. The types of evaluation used by a teacher put in the context the educational reform and current trends used within the obligatory school paper, RVP ZV. This master thesis is searching for evaluation methods resulting from the knowledge of educational psychology about pupil learning process. The particular evaluation methods are further brought out based on the specific objective. Practical part of the paper describes and analyzes the evaluation methods in practice of one teacher in a given school and characterizes evaluation as significant part of her individual concept of teaching. Anotation The main topic of my graduation theses is cooperative learning. Understanding of cooperative learning's system and art of its application in practice is the main intention of my work. The graduation theses incudes two parts - theoretic part and practical part. The theoretic part deals with theory of cooperative learning and its use in the Bohemian schools. The practical part checks theoretic opinions and it focuses on research domain "The influence of cooperation on teaching's processes and results of learning." by means of the research methods of questioning, observation methods and experimenting.
Pupill's portfolio as an evaluation instrument

The thesis has theoretically - researching nature. The theoretical part deals with school evaluation and its altemative methods that are gradually being used in our educational system. Self-assessment and techniques of working with pupiľs portfolio have been discussed in detail. The research findings, that have been learnt during the process of surveying the above mentioned portfolio and comparing methods of its application at different schools and by several teachers, are presented in practical part of the thesis. The research has also scrutinized the presentation portfolio at the end of the 5th grade of elementary school and the working portfolio at the end of school attendance elaborated under guidance of Mrs Vladimíra S.
