Customer Satisfaction
Svobodová, Eliška ; Krupicová, Dana (referee) ; Schüller, David (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of customer satisfaction of authorized dealer and car repairer CARent a.s Brno. The thesis uses partial analyzes to determine the current state of the marketing environment and also conducts a marketing survey. Based on the results of the marketing survey, measures are proposed to increase the level of customer satisfaction so far.
The place, where we live as a theme in civics
Svobodová, Eliška ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor) ; Fleischerová, Andrea (referee)
In my thesis I have dealt with the content knowledge of regionality in Civics at the lower secondary school and described the actual and former curricular contents of the topic "The place we live in". The present form of the curriculum lacks any mandatory comprehension that deals with this topic. I have examined the content knowledge of regionality from the point of view of regionalism, regional development and politics and thus described thoroughly the structure and classification of regions as it follows the syllabus. Researching the aforementioned subject I have created a hands-on teaching material, which covers 13 follow- up lessons, encouraging pupils to behave as active and responsible members of regional society.
The National Archival Collection of the Czech Republic
Svobodová, Eliška ; Vorlíčková, Blanka (advisor) ; Šípek, Richard (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the The National Archival Collection of the Czech Republic (CR NKF). The library collection is absolutely unique in its main objective that is to collect all Czech and foreign bohemical printed and non-printed documents, including journals since 1901. This thesis aims to introduce this collection both in a historical and current context, especially via library line or through ongoing projects in cooperation with the CR NKF. In the end, the work exaplains long-term protection and preservation of modern library collections in foreign countries and compares it with the situation in the NKF in the Czech Republic.
"Musicians or Curiosities?" Czechoslovak All-Girl Band Satanic Girls
Svobodová, Eliška ; Havelková, Tereza (advisor) ; Seidlová, Veronika (referee)
The thesis deals with the Czechoslovakian all-girl band Satanic Girls (in South America performing under the name Las Satánicas), which performed in exile since August 1968. The author, using music and anthropological approaches based on the analysis of interviews (conducted in the period February 2013 - March 2014), press articles, photos, videos and archival materials, describes, analyses and interprets the history of the band. Doing so, the main emphasis is being put on the processes of negotiation. Setting out the thematic line "women - musicians - emigrants", the text observes how the emigration and the constant extreme changes in the cultural environment as well as the managers influenced the musical and visual style of the band. One of the central themes is a permanent, involuntary (and sometimes unconscious) oscillation of the band between being presented as the musicians or as the sexual attractions.
Use of soluble tracers as possible tool to quantify groundwater recharge
Svobodová, Eliška ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Ondovčin, Tomáš (referee)
The objective of this study is to test soluble tracers as potential tool to approximately measure the groundwater recharge. In the first part of the study, the most frequently used methods for the estimation of groundwater recharge especially in arid areas are shortly discussed. Eight experiments with soluble tracers - halite and gypsum - were performed. The purpose of the experiments was to examine whether the conductivity of water flowing through a soluble tracer corresponds to the conductivity of the saturated solution. The results indicate that the conductivity of water flowing through halite is approximately equal to the saturated solution. Unlike halite, gypsum was found to be unsuitable because after drying, gypsum milled to analytical fineness becomes solid mass which does not dissolve any more.
Generation of porcine induced pluripotent stem cells - a model of Huntington disease.
Svobodová, Eliška ; Motlík, Jan (advisor) ; Fulka, Josef (referee)
Stable porcine ES cell lines have not been succesfully established yet. Ability to selfrenew or to differentiate has been limited in different porcine ES-like cell lines so far. PiPSCs represent an alternative to pESCs. PiPSCs can be generated by reprogramming of somatic cells by introduction of several transcription factors on viral vectors and were established by several groups. However, the majority of piPS cell lines depend on transgene expression because of incomplete reprogramming and weak activation of endogenous pluripotency genes. Transgene expression can infuence differentiation potential of piPSCs. Therefore, we have used integrative and reexcisable PiggyBac transposons to generate viral free piPSCs. At the same time, small molecules (low-molecular inhibitors) with potential to increase reprogramming efficiency and to activate endogenous pluripotency genes were used in the reprogramming media. This strategy has a potential for generation of naive piPSCs. Successful excision of transgenes would generate transgene-free piPSCs with uncompromised differentiation potential. Pig (Sus Scrofa) is at the same time an important animal model in preclinical stage research of the diseases. Somatic cells used for generation of piPSCs were isolated from pigs carrying mutated huntingtin. Integration of the...
Validation of Czech Version of 3DPAR questionare for adolescent
Svobodová, Eliška ; Procházka, Michal (advisor) ; Radvanský, Jiří (referee)
Author's first name and surname: Bc. Eliška Svobodová Title of the master thesis: The Validation of czech version of 3DPAR questionnaire for adolescents Department: Department of Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Supervisor: As. MUDr. Michal Procházka The year of presentation: 2013 Abstract: The aim of the study was to test the questionnaire of physical activity "3 Day Physical Activity Recall" and determine its reliability and validity. The research was accomplished by using pedometers Yamax SW 200 on a group of children from 15 to 17 years. The theoretical part of this thesis reviews the possibilities of monitoring the physical activity of youth by subjective and objective methods with some examples of studies already carried out. The results were statistically processed and described. Keywords: physical activity, 3DPAR questionnaire, pedometer I agree the thesis paper to be lent within the library service.
