Some Penitentiary Specifics of Imprisoned Women (Specification of sentenced women) This dissertation work describes two groups of incarcerated women: first long-term imprisoned women, second-imprisoned mothers with their children. The criminal behaviour of women differs from the male criminality. The most often penal behaviour are thefts, pick pocketing, illegal exploitation of employees, misabeling of goods, evading corporate taxes, suborning and in the last time different sorts of violent crimes like robberies, homicides etc tends to increase. Special kind of imprisoned women are offenders of impostures and organized crime (prostitution, trade with children and drugs). We also have a higher prison population than many other European countries. Each of these groups of sentenced women needs special sort of treatment and sometimes therapy or medical care. There are two female prisons in the ČR - in Opava and Světlá nad Sázavou. In Opava prison there are women sentenced to all four kinds of security including middle and high security type of prison. There is also the unit for drug depend inmates and the inmates with personality disorder. Foreign language aptitude of pupils with learning disabilities at the beginning of the foreign language acquisition at the elementary school

The dissertation is dealing with the issue of foreign language aptitude and foreign language abilities of pupils with learning disabilities at the beginning of the foreign language acquisition. The first part of the work describes general theories of the foreign language acquisition and introduces the current trends in education of pupils with learning disabilities in the process of foreign language learning. The second part of the work describes the research, which aim was to investigate the quality and the devlepoment of the foreing language aptitude of the pupils with learning disabilities during the first year of foreign language study at the elementary school. Foreign language aptitude and foreign language abilities were compared with foreign language achievement and with native language and reading skills. The inclusion education in primary schools in the Czech republic from the perspective of principals and special educators

This thesis is focussing on the special educators' and school directors' attitudes towards the inclusive education in primary schools in the CR. The purpose of the report is to analyse existing research and investigations concerning the topic from the respondents' perspective and to reflect their opinions on the current conditions for inclusive education implementation mainly after the 2016 legislative changes. The qualitative part of the research was based on semi-structured interviews and focus groups. This part is focused on the co-operation of different participants involved in the educational system in a school environment, how the respondents perceive the system of adjunctive arrangement and other settings for inclusive education in their schools as well as the impact of the rules set centrally by the system. The research also reflects the quality of the school, the impact of the legislative changes, how participants understand inclusive education concept and what are their attitudes towards inclusive education. The quantitative part was based on the data from the quantitative research. There were 1029 respondents from schools all over the CR. Boris Titzl, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The submitted thesis focuses on the phenomenon of child abuse and neglect. The theoretical background for these issues had to be found in the science branches which have so far made the contribution to the explanation of the child abuse and neglect. Medicine (mainly traumatology) explains the mechanism of physical abuse, psychiatric- psychological approach not only enhances the topic with the psychical abuse and neglect, but also offers a backup to a non-moralizing explanation why abusing persons behave in such way. Sociological and ethological approach helps to understand the contextual factors which could foster the child abuse and neglect. The social work point of view is used to introduce the system of care of the abused children. Special pedagogy part of this thesis approaches the situation and education of the abused children mainly from the ethopedical point of view and reflects specific questions of institutional education. Aspects of deviated communication disorders

Thesis is aimed at children; within 5.5 to 6.5 years of age; with disturbed communication ability. The method of critical analysis of scientific sources was used to explain current trends of speech therapy and special education diagnostics and also to explain current possibilities and risks while educating students with disturbed communication ability. Simultaneously, the analysis of the diagnostic process in the advisory service was done. The research was done within a six-year term and included 848 respondents. The results showed that a high amount of students are entering first grade of primary school with disturbed communication ability. An analysis of disturbed communication ability and an analysis of progressive speech therapy diagnostics to map language levels was done. Standardised diagnostic tools including mathematical and statistical methods were used to evaluate the results. The results of this research mapped the communication ability of respondents (age 5,5-6,5 years) and showed the need for improvements in the diagnostic process. The diagnostic process was extended with the addition of speech therapy diagnoses which can uncover deficiencies in language levels were implemented; especially with respondents with health and/or social disadvantage.
