Inclusive didactics in primary school

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis brings the information about the possibilities, which could help the pedagogues to successful inclusion implementation. It introduces the inclusion principles and strategies, brings elementary information about inclusion in the way, how it is brought by the amendment to the Education Act by Decree 27/2016 on the education of pupils with special needs and talented pupils. It introduces support measures, pedagogical diagnostics, issues of learning styles, different teaching methods, different kinds of differentiation, it highlights the importance of the classroom climate and the personality of the teacher. It approaches the specifics of education in the small-scale schools. The practical part of the thesis answers the questions, if the chosen small-scale school fulfills the requirements of the inclusive education. It focuses on fulfilling the principles of metacognitive teaching, individualization and differentiation in schooling. The thesis examines the climate of individual classes and the degree of influence of the class climate on pupils with special educational needs. Predictors of Social Participation of CHildren with Cerebral Palsy in Primary Schools in the Czech Republic and Republic of Serbia

The main aim of this dissertation is to determine the predictors of social participation of pupils with cerebral palsy in elementary schools in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Serbia which, in other words, means identifying factors that could determine the level of its social participation in primary education. Considering the fact that it is established that the participation of pupils with cerebral palsy is an important indicator of their successful social participation in adolescence and adulthood, it is necessary to estimate the factors that influence their participation in school age. Social participation is within this dissertation viewed from the perspective of independent execution of non-academic school activities that the pupils with cerebral palsy are performed daily in the school environment, which they need in order to be able to fulfill the academic obligations expected from them. In order to assess their participation in the school environment, the first and third part of the SFA questionnaire were used (The School Function Assessment), in order to measure pupils' participation in 6 situations within the school environment and 21 concrete non- academic school activities. Work with risk in residential social services

The diploma thesis focuses on the term risk in human life in general, as it is seen in the society and defined by current knowledge in the field of social science. Furthermore, the thesis explores the risk as a phenomenon connected to the social services. The social integration of disadvantaged groups of inhabitants into majority society have brought with it the need to defend the rights of people with disabilities, with an emphasis on their active involvement in everyday life, in seeking the opportunity to experience those situations that define this life. This focus brings a number of theoretical solutions for risk planning with respect to clients of social services. These solutions have been further taken into account in this section of the thesis. The experimental part of thesis focuses on the perception of risks by the employees who work in residential facilities in Zlín district, directly taking care of clients. This part of the thesis provides a relevant insight into risk awareness in selected residential facilities and its active use in practice. Attitudes of kindergarten teachers to inclusive education

This diploma thesis deals with problematics of inclusive education in kindergarten. This study aimed to determine kindergarden teachers's attitudes to inclusive education. The other objectives of this project are to analyze proposals and recommendations of addressed teachers concerning increasing efficiency of inclusive education. Apart from that, the present work also describes how teachers perceive the role of teacher assistant in inclusive education. This research is divided into a theoretical and practical part. First part describes theoretical resources of inclusive education in kindergarten. It defines key notions of inclusive education, charakterizes preschool child, kindergarten itself and education of children with special educational needs in kindergartens. The practical part analyzes information, which was gained during dialogues with teachers in kindergarten. The objective of this part was to determine kindergarten teacher's oppinions and attitudes to inclusive education. In a conclusion of the research achieved konwledge is compared with conformable research, which where done in described problematics.
Basal stimulation concept in the educational process of rehabilitation classes

My theses deals with the use of basal stimulation concept in the treatment of students with combined disabilities in special elementary schools in Czech Republic. The theoretical part includes literary research concerning basal stimulation concept - its origins, development and theoretical foundations and it describes its specific elements and their use in educational programmes for specialized elementary schools. The practical part concentrates on the quantitative survey research with the goal to map the use of the basal stimulation concept in the specialized elementary schools in Czech Republic to find out which specific elements are in the educational process used the most. Survey research discovered that in the educational process with students with serious combined disabilities the concept of basal stimulation is used by 80% of schools. The somatic, vibrational, auditory and tactile-haptic stimulation are used the most. The specific elements used are - somatic massage, adjustment of the position, use of music and use of tactile perception in motor stimulation of the hand.
Education of students with autism spectrum disorder at school for students with physical disabilities

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of education of pupils with autism spectrum disorders at an elementary school for pupils with physical disabilities. It focuses on the methodological conditions for education that the school offers to pupils with autism spectrum disorders. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part describes autism spectrum disorders - from terminology and classification to typical manifestations of this diagnosis. The second chapter is dedicated to education of pupils with autism spectrum disorders, it presents options for their education and support measures. The third chapter of the theoretical part presents teaching methods and interventions for people with autism spectrum disorders. The practical part of the thesis includes a qualitative research survey which was carried out through semi-structured interviews with class teachers of pupils with autism spectrum disorders at the elementary school for pupils with physical disabilities. This bachelor thesis is aimed at preventive action against children injuries, which could occur in nursery school. Goal of this bachelor thesis is found out if workers of nursery school are educated in prevention of preschool injuries and if they are capable to provide first aid. Comperation of this knowlage was focused on numery schools in Prague 6. In theoretical part bachelor thesis are described most common preschool injuries happend in nursery school, active and passive primary, secondary prevention childhood injuries, injuries treatment and first aid providing. Practical part is aimed at collection of information from questionaire survey, which was identitified to educationalists in some chosen nursary school in Prague 6. Intimacy of people with disabilities in context of sexual assistance

The bachelor thesis under the name "Intimacy of people with disabilities in the context of sexual assistance" sets the goal of describing the life of people in a wheelchair especially in sexual intimacy and evaluating the applicability of the sexual assistance service and its perspective. In the theoretical part the thesis deals with sexuality and intimate relationships of handicapped people and aims to overcome myths dominating this area. Sexuality of mentally disabled people and those born with a physical handicap is specified. The character of the sexual assistance as a service is described as well as its expansion in the Czech environment, its types and the work of sexual assistants. The difficult aspects of the service itself is dealt with. The institutions working in the field of informing about the issue are also described. In the practical and research part the thesis presents biographies of two handicapped people diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The respondent's view on the issue of sex and relationships of disabled people is based on the interview about his life story.
