Legal aspects of the online marketing
Kmoch, Štěpán ; Císařová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
Legal aspects of the online marketing The ever-growing role and importance of the Internet in today's society encourages the quick development of a relatively young and dynamic field - online marketing. Since the central goal of the online marketing is to maximize the profits of the given entity, commercial interest may easily get into the conflict with the interests of others. However, endangered entities are not only competing entities, but very often the customers themselves, addressing of which is much easier and cheaper in the Internet than in the "real world." In addition, in recent years the importance of the issue of the Internet users' privacy has been growing. Legal responses mainly consist in the public regulation, the compliance of which is supervised by the executor of the public administration appointed to do this by the legislator. However, also private regulation is worth mentioning, which is usually used primarily by competitors of the infringing entity rather than by consumers themselves. This thesis at first introduces the field of online marketing and its tools and consequently deals with the examination of the legal regulation in more detail, including the impact on practice. The aim of the thesis is to look at the legal regulation from the point of view of the practice, which...

Migration policies and security in Germany and the EU-border control dilemmas in the 21st century
Bürkl, Noémie ; Drulák, Petr (advisor) ; Kolenovská, Daniela (referee)
This thesis takes up the intimate link between migration realities and the necessity to ensure security on the territory of nation states. Unluckily, migration has the same effect as international terrorism, i.e. blurring the borders between an external and international security dimension. Therefore migration management is often understood as migration control. But the security dimension of migration gets sometimes too predominant, neglecting human rights of individual migrants. National policies are influenced by a wide range of actors within the society, who contribute to focusing the debate more on the integration rather than the control dimension, even if the majority of public opinion has anti-immigrant positions. Germany will provide the case study for analysing the national level. An economics, laws and politics triangle provides the basic analytical framework. The emergence of a securitised migration approach on the EU-level is linked to the willingness of member states to cooperate on this sensitive issue. Other cooperation processes occur outside the EU framework, but it is generally not less focused on security and control. Illegal migration is particularly outlined here, even if it is extremely difficult to get statistical data for scientific foundation. Criminal networks are also often...

Yom Kippur war and its impacts on Israeli economics, politics and society
Vágnerová, Jitka ; Tumis, Stanislav (advisor) ; Kovář, Martin (referee)
In my bachelors thesis I would like to aim at not only the analysis of reasons, process and results of Yom Kippur war, but mainly at its impacts on Israeli society, politics and economics. One of the results of foundation of the state of Israel in 1948 was sharpening of tension in the region of the Near and Middle East, which results can be seen to the present days. As very important I find the analysis of political, economical and social development of Israel early after the end of Yom Kippur war, which in fact confirmed the results of Six-Day war from 1967. I find it important because right at that time the tension inside Isreal againts the Arabic world and against Palestinians started to sharpen a lot (e.g. in connection with the settlement politics of Isreal in the occupated territories). Results of the conflict and politics of Isreal after another won war with the Arabic coalition had important impact also on futher political, social and economical development of the Near and Middle East Region.

Human society is getting old. We have to learn many new things about old people and dying, too. The work is divided into three basic parts. The first part is psychosocial view of being old and dying - society's attitude towards the old, how the old receive their physical and mental changes, society's looking at diseases and dying. The second part is biblical view of these phenomenons - the position of the old people in that time, society's attitude toward diseases and dying (new comprehension dying in New Testament). After biblical view follows philosophic. The last part is practical. In the research people were asked what they think about doctors' attitude towards dying people, if present society sufficiently speak about dying and death, if the care about the old people is acceptable, if they are able to speak about dying with their family, if they are afraid of dying and if so which things they have the biggest fear of.

Economic Analysis of Judicial Activity
Zabranská, Monika ; Kühn, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Munzi, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis deals with the problem of the monopoly structure of the modern justice system and the heavy regulation of most fields of dispute resolution. In this system, judges themselves comprise a self-interested group seeking relaxed regulation and increased rights from the government. The thesis describes inefficiencies and dangers stemming from the lack of market control of the modern justice system and suggests an alternative in the form of a private justice system. The purpose of this paper is to examine both the problem of successful implementation of competition into the current justice system, while describing various models as to how the private justice system could function without state control, with examples from history. This paper further examines the economic differences between private and public justice systems in terms of incentives, efficiency, the process of law creation, speed, and consumers' satisfaction, as well as the conditions under which different systems work best. The main conclusion of this paper is that society should allow all subjects desirous of opportunities to provide goods and services through new enterprises, even in areas currently the exclusive domain of the state, as doing so brings an increase in quality, speed of solution/service, and innovation.
