Analysis of development companies and tourism industry

This thesis is concerned with the possibilities of financing the building of new accommodation capacities by development companies utilizing European union structure funds. The aim of this thesis is to introduce a fictional tourism project, which could be realized by financial instruments of european regional politics, and consequently to present this possibility of co-financing, concretely through project documentation and requisition of financing to competent authorities. Another aim of this thesis is also to introduce the administration procedures, which have to be undergone. In the end of the thesis is a recommendation to file for financial resources, which flow from the structure funds and the project proposal document enclosed to the requisition as well.

FTP server

This work deals with implementation of an effective FTP server and programs needed for its administration, which are also part of the work. Important factor is performance of the server alone and ability to fully utilize system resources when needed. Server should support all common FTP commands, ocassionaly used commands can be implemented using plugins. Communication protocol between server and administrative programs is also part of this work. This protocol permits use of third party programs for server management too.

The Korean investor in the Czech enterprise : (the case study of Daewoo Avia, a.s.)

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of the Korean investor Daewoo in the Czech company Avia. The aim of this thesis is to illustrate on the example of Daewoo Avia, a.s. the impact of cut and dry application of Korean system of corporate governance on Czech conditions. In the detailed analysis there is a focus on the development of the company, Korean principles of corporate governance, difficulties of Korean supervision and company success, that is evaluated in accordance to economical indexes, including production and the number of employees. Nationalization processes in Czechoslovakia 1945-1946

In my bachelor work I shall address the situation of Czechoslovakia in the years of 1945 -- 1948 with focus on nationalization processes. In the first part I will outline the difficult political situation in the post-war time, the rise of National Front and the the slow accession of communists to the power, culminating in February 1948. I shall also point out the reasons which reorientated czechoslovakian foreign policy towards the SSSR. In the second part I focused on Beneš decrees, especially nationalization decrees. I shall also metion those that led to the punishment of Germans, Hungarians, traitors and collaborators. Furthermore, I will analyze decrees that led to nationalization of key industry, joint-stock banks and insurance companies. I will focus not only on their statutory texts and their discussion by the government, but also their economic and social effects. The aim of this work is to analyze nationalization decrees to the reader,since they are documents that influenced course of events in Czechoslovakia for the next fifty years.

Legal standing of neighbours in the procedures to grant planning permission The Diploma Thesis Zuzana Jílková Abstract The Diploma Thesis entitled "Legal standing of neighbours in the procedures to grant planning permission" presents an analysis of the concept of the "neighbour" in the individual procedures to grant a planning permission under the Building Act, namely the planning permission proceedings, the summary planning permission proceedings, the planning consent issuance, the conclusion of a public contract and the regulatory plan issuance. Procedural rights of the neighbour are analysed in detail. The neighbour, in its capacity as an interested person, may actively use these rights and thereby influence the course and outcome of the proceedings. The thesis focuses primarily on the planning permission proceedings and objections which neighbours may raise against the construction project under the conditions set out in the Building Act. The aim of the thesis is to create an image of the neighbour by means of an analysis of the various procedures and to outline the problematic aspects of the current legislation regarding in particular the defence before the administrative courts in the simplified procedures. Economic Development of German Federal States in Regard to their Labor Market in 1990-2010

The ongoing debate around a successful reunification process is dividing Germany, not only geographically but also socio-economically and politically. There have been some remarkable achievements during the reunification, especially during the first years, but the period 1990-2012 has also seen some negative developments. Analysis is based mainly on databases from the German Socio-Economic Panel (GSOEP), as well as other administrative data sources such as the Deutsche Institut for Wirtschaft (DIW). In examining and comparing the roles of demographic changes, productivity, the implementation of active labor market policies (ALMPs), labor participation, unemployment, education, the gender gap, and wage inequality, we analyze the development of the german labor market by its main determinants, in order to conclude whether the German government has succeeded in the reunification of East and West Germany.

Socioeconomic study for the establishment of the periurban park Confluence, Prague

The aim of the study is to elaborate the socioeconomic analysis of the region at the confluence of the Vltava and Berounka rivers and proposing possible solutions for the shared governance of the peri-urban park (PP) in administratively divided region. The summary report contains results of the study as a qualitative sociological analysis to analyze the value attitudes of individual actors, communication barriers, designing models of governance and, the results of the questionnaires on the attitudes of the inhabitans. This socioeconomic study is part of a pilot project, the establishment of a suburban park Confluence, which is coordinated by The Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR).
