Problems of information search on the Internet
Janů, Tomáš ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Šubrta, Václav (referee)
This thesis adverts to the inadequacies and impediments which can be met by an ordinary user of the internet when searching for information. The process of searching itself represents an interaction between the request given by a user and the result displayed by a search engine. The result might be in a form of URL address of a concrete web page, picture, product, location etc. Some of the problems, which are described in detail in the thesis, are for example relevance and freshness of the search result, separation of global and local result, spam in the results or problems connected to the searching in the online maps. There is an emphasis on the local market, respectively on the Czech user, in the thesis. Furthermore, it focuses on the freshness of all data and on a practical sample in a picture form. The important data and statistics are recorded in the well-arranged tables and graphs. Among others, many interesting information and observations can be found in the thesis. These information and observations are marked with the blue arrow (->).

Assessment of Physics Tuition Quality Parameters
Žák, Vojtěch
This thesis deals with acquisition and evaluation of parameters of the physics tuition quality at high schools. Mapping the existing approaches to the education quality and tuition quality, the work includes also description of the progress and results of an expert investigation, contributing to creation of a new technique for monitoring the physics tuition and assessing its quality. Following chapters describe details of the research assessing the quality of the physics tuition performed by ten teachers at seven Prague high schools, discussing the validity and reliability of the technique created. Within the thesis, didactic preparation has been elaborated based on results of the research, usable for teaching the physical topic titled "Energy and Conservation Laws in Mechanics". I have taught this topic and the tuition has been assessed using the new technique. The thesis includes also a manual for future users of the monitoring and assessment technique.

Changes of the system of social partnership in Austria and its future perspective
Týmová, Slavomíra ; Just, Petr (advisor) ; Jüptner, Petr (referee)
The Austrian social and economic partnership is a specific system of co operation between the major economic interest groups, labour unions and between them and the government. Based on close voluntary co-operation between employers, employees and state (government), it constitutes the specifically Austrian manifestation of the system of reconciling interests and ranks Austria high among scales of corporatism in the relevant literature. What diversify the Austrian social partnership and the Austrian form of corporatism (so called Austro-corporatism) is its coverage - practically all areas of economic and social policy used to come under the social partnership tripartite cooperation. This cooperation of interest groups is mostly informal and is not regulated by law. The social partners are represented by four large representative organisations. On the employees' side these are the Austrian Trade Union Federation (OGB) and the Federal Chamber of Labour (BAK), and on the employers' side the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria (WKO), and the Standing Committee of Presidents of the Chamber of Agriculture (PRAKO). After World War II, the government, the industry and the trade unions started the social partnership cooperation mainly to avoid the social and industrial conflict and to assure the social...

Development of pupils' independence by using the project method
Kretíková, Olga ; Tomková, Anna (advisor) ; Holemá, Irena (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to determine whether it is possible to develop pupils' independence by way of the project method, which is based on my own practical experience. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part summarizes and evaluates the knowledge gained by studying the available literature on the topic of pupils' independence and the theme of project method. The conclusion of the theoretical part summarises the bases for the development of the self- reliance via project method. The practical part analyses my previous teaching experiences, like the use of project method in terms of pupils' independence and this analysis is followed up with the practical research, based on a new project which is focused on the development of the pupils' independence in the activating teaching methods that have not been used yet. The part of the appendix includes final pieces of pupils' works from some of the projects described in the practical part, pupils' mind maps from their projects and photo documentation of the newly realised project, which was aimed at developing pupils' independence. In conclusion, I validate, based on my own research, the hypothesis that the targeted use of project method leads to the development of the pupils'...

Using of the method of Camberwell Assessment of Need in people with mental illnes
Singh, Marta ; Procházková, Jana (advisor) ; Sotáková, Hana (referee)
anglicky The research study deals with the use of Camberwell Assessment of Need (CAN - Clinical version) in the process of assessing the needs of people with mental illness in order to find out whether the instrument appears to be useful for identifying the needs of people with mental illness in the process of providing specific social services (i.e. services provided by Fokus Praha) and to identify whether this tool may be used in practice in future as a supporting platform for designing of appropriate interventions. The work in this research has its theoretical and functional aspects. The theoretical part of the conducted research devoted attention to the needs particularly some of the theoretical aspects of needs. Moreover, there is a dedicated space on the existence of any specific needs of people with mental illness and detailed description of the Camberwell Assessment of Needs form - its characteristics, conditions and method of the administration and its use in practice. The empirical part aimed to map the needs of both areas in which clients and people interested in the services of Fokus Praha need support, especially to describe what form and level of support in these and other life areas already benefited from a sophomore trying to map the extent to which changing the structure of the...

Spectrophotometry of ROS species with focus on hydrogen peroxide
Zhorný, Lukáš ; Hořavová, Lenka (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
The main theme of this work is spectrophotometry. The first chapter describes the theoretical problems of the topic, relevant units and formulas for calculating the absorbance of the solutions of given concentrations. Further disclosed herein is a spectrophotometer, its individual parts, and the principle on which the unit is based. The last chapter of the theoretical introduction to this work is focused on the production of ROS in living organisms and especially in plants, and then there are some spectrophotometric methods for determining the concentration of ROS. The practical part describes the method using TiCl4 and method using KI. Both methods were used to determine the hydrogen peroxide concentration and subsequent measurement of absorbance of solutions of standard hydrogen peroxide added interfering substances. Then, the statistical analysis of the measured data and the assessment of the impact of these interferents to measure absorbance. The first of these methods proved to be suitable for a given measurement.

Subsidy importance in rural development (Chanovice, Pačejov, Myslív and Velký Bor)
Koláříková, Markéta ; Kocmánková Menšíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Pavel, Pavel (referee)
The main goal of the study was to find out and compare the significance of the received subsidies in the development of Chanovice, Pačejov, Myslív and Velký Bor villages. My work in the first place dealt with subsidies as an important part of a village income and as a tool for their development. The theoretical part is based on the study of special literature and other relevant sources relating to the examined issues. Attention is given to regional development, within which the two programming periods (2007 2013 and 2014 2020) are compared and also the financing of villages. The knowledge gained in the theoretical part are followed by secondary data analysis, in which it was found that the received subsidies hold an important position in the structure of Chanovice and Pačejov village incomes in the two other villages that position is not so important. Thanks to received subsidies in the period 2007 2013 the villages implemented a lot of developing projects, either infrastructural (most Pačejov village) or other (especially Chanovice village) character. In the framework of the infrastructure based projects all municipalities used the subsidies to build and repaire their water and transport infrastructures. Another field where the municipalities aimed the subsidies was field of education. Based on semi-structured interviews with mayors of selected villages the empirical part of my work was worked out afterward. The mayors share the opinion that the village development especially the development connected with infrastructure, the subsidies are necessary, but the way to obtain them is very difficult and costly for the small villages
