This bachelor thesis pay attention on statistical methods managing relationship with customers and different approaches of estimation customer lifetime value for the company in long time period. It is an empirical type of bachelor thesis, where we will test the theoretical assumptions on the real data. During this paper we research and measure customers behavior in order to obtain quantitative outputs to adaptation marketing strategy, efficient allocation of resources and choosing key clients. On the basis of past and present behavior we simulate expected in future level of purchasing behavior and thus try to determine the most profitable target groups for high-quality application of marketing tools. Main purposes of thesis are describing various attitudes to modeling CLV, applying the model Pareto/NBD on real date of the company Práce pro Vás, to evaluate forecast applicability in practice. Following tasks will be resolved in this paper: to introduce advantages and disadvantages of each modeling CLV approach, to evaluate quality of Pareto/NBD model and to determine the advanced extensions of the research in this issue. There are various attitudes to estimation of CLV, which are described in theoretical chapters, but practical part of this paper focuses primarily on application of probability model Pareto/NBD. With the help of Pareto/NBD managers can get the information about future customers activity, i.e. expected number of transactions from real behavior a probability that customer will be active in observation period. Masná, Zuzana ; Novotný, David Jan (referee) ; Šobr, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis "Marketing activities of Czech cinemas and multiplexes focused on the cinema Svetozor" describes different methods of marketing applied by both these types of cinemas. The thesis primarily focuses on the alternative cinemas. The different types of cinemas imply that also the character of their marketing activitites will differ. By marketing activities the author means mainly promotion activities of Czech classical cinemas; these are explicated for both Svetozor cinema and other art cinemas. As for multicinemas, this work concentrates on different types of cinema advertising which different multicinemas enable to various companies. There are marketing strategies based on a SWOT analysis proposed for both types of the cinemas and multicinemas and for Svetozor in particular. This work suggests that to be able to stand up to relatively new competition of multicinemas, the classical cinemas need to change their marketing strategies. Focus should be given to the importance of brand and establishing own corporate identity. These questions will also be analysed for the marketing communication of Svetozor cinema in years 2004 - 2009. In this work an analysis on the basis of description and marketing strategies evaluation of specific cinemas is used as the main method. The work is based on...

Discussion on exchange-rate regimes: Hayek versus Friedman
Hájek, Jan ; Potužák, Pavel (advisor) ; Slaný, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis follows up approaches of F. A. von Hayek and Milton Friedman on international monetary arrangements. Analytical part contains research of work of both authors. In Hayek's work, the theory of income chain flows is highlighted first and second, synchronization of growth of export sectors and fall of import sectors across the whole national economy during depreciation is stressed in the flexible exchange rate regime. From Friedman's work those parts are chosen which are consistent with Hayek's theory. Primarily, differences between effects of speculation demand for foreign currency are mentioned. In the synthesis of both approaches, three international monetary systems are defined (international real gold standard, pseudo-gold standard and clear floating). The aim is to choose a system, which is the best for creation of wealth, therefore the one, where prices do not lose their information value. The thesis shows that the system with international real gold standard is the most suitable. Furthermore, the hypothesis that says, that approaches of both authors are compatible, is refused. The last chapter deals with the international monetary perspective of the Czech Republic.

Legal aspects of the online marketing
Kmoch, Štěpán ; Císařová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
Legal aspects of the online marketing The ever-growing role and importance of the Internet in today's society encourages the quick development of a relatively young and dynamic field - online marketing. Since the central goal of the online marketing is to maximize the profits of the given entity, commercial interest may easily get into the conflict with the interests of others. However, endangered entities are not only competing entities, but very often the customers themselves, addressing of which is much easier and cheaper in the Internet than in the "real world." In addition, in recent years the importance of the issue of the Internet users' privacy has been growing. Legal responses mainly consist in the public regulation, the compliance of which is supervised by the executor of the public administration appointed to do this by the legislator. However, also private regulation is worth mentioning, which is usually used primarily by competitors of the infringing entity rather than by consumers themselves. This thesis at first introduces the field of online marketing and its tools and consequently deals with the examination of the legal regulation in more detail, including the impact on practice. The aim of the thesis is to look at the legal regulation from the point of view of the practice, which...

Changes Air Transport Industry after Deregulation, Specific Case of Germany
Frühauf, Pavel ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Seidenglanz, Daniel (referee)
The theme of this thesis is the air transport and its dramatic and dynamic development in the last twenty years. The key driving force behind this change was the deregulation of air agreements and liberalization of international markets, which took place in the seventies in the USA and in the nineties in Europe. This work addresses specific and general effects of deregulation and the development of air transport industry and aims to identify and analyze changes of its structures in space and time. One of the major and direct impacts and consequences of deregulation is that the free market allowed the emergence of new low-cost airlines, which significantly changed the structure and trends of air transport. The changes allowed for greater mobility of people, goods and capital, and also caused a partial change in consumer behaviour of individuals and institutions, and even more interconnected global economy. The source of data and information are primarily articles in professional journals written in English. Knowledge from particular analysis and research approaches to air traffic from the first part of this work is confronted with empirical research. This was based on the statistical data of air traffic in Germany, for each airport from 1991 to 2010 and verified the theoretical concepts of the general...

Muhič Vobořilová, Jana ; Vrhel, František (advisor) ; Komárek, Stanislav (referee) ; Uherek, Zdeněk (referee)
MONGOLIAN NOMADS: PROHIBITIONS AND NATURAL CULTS Taboo Phenomena and Their Language Expressions This dissertation has been created on the interface of the three disciplines: ethnology, linguistic and Mongolian studies. It studies tabooed areas of life of Mongolian shepherds, related mainly to worshiping of the natural cults and to some significant cognitive models applied across the culture. The core of this work is the analysis of data collected repeatedly during field researches based on recording the language expressions of speakers and on a participative observing of the author. Prohibitions (taboos) which play role in the everyday life of the shepherds in the Mongolian steppe emanate primarily from the relation of humans with the nature which surrounds them. The aim of the work is to shed light on the question how the systematic nature of prohibitions (ceeriin yos) is anchored in the conceptual framework. In this the context of the Mongolian shepherd culture as a whole has been emphasised. Cognitive-linguistic approach represents a significant component of methodology, a systematic analysis of expressions which are understood as metaphors. Descriptions of particular events, recorded in the field research diary, enable an understanding of some linkages of conceptual structures and also depicting of the...
