Play of Preschool Child
HANUSOVÁ, Tereza
A thesis deals with the theme of play of children at preschool age. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the child at preschool age, in terms of its development, and also describes the most important moment at this age, namely child entering kindergarten and the socialization of children in kindergarten. It further describes the importance of play and describes the various types and forms of the game. The practical part focuses on the research of the game at home and in the kindergarten environment. Based on the observations of five children during their play at kindergarten and a subsequent interview with the mothers of these children, the difference of the children?s play of both type of environments was observed. The game of these particular children affected various determinants; namely sibling groups in which the child grows, the influence of television and computer games and a child entering kindergarten. Sibling groups significantly influenced the selection of a child?s playing partner in kindergarten, neither watching television nor computer games really inspired a child in his game; however the entry into kindergarten has a positive effect on the social behaviour of the child, but didn?t have a direct impact on the game. The research results show that the change of environment, respectively the home and kindergarten environment for the five investigated children does not have influence on the choice of mode of play, or the choice of toys. This suggests that once a child starts to prefer a style of play, it doesn't care about the playing enviroment.

Building and use of smaller computer networks
Kyzivát, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
The thesis describes the initial state of the computer network Basic Schools and Kindergartens Ohradní (ZŠMŠ Ohradní) in Prague 4 and then its reconstruction, which I largely contributed. ZŠMŠ Ohradní consists of four pavilions and from one building on the other side of the street. The aim of this study is to assess the initial state of the network and point out the shortcomings that we discovered. We found deficiencies in the operation stress tests, measurements and data cabling overall analysis. Original networks connectivity was 100Mb/s. Together with a colleague, we are network administrators. Furthermore, I am going to introduce a new form of network, which has identified deficiencies improved, by using on newer technologies. I will describe its structure, address allocation, active and passive components, and operated services. New network is capable of 1Gb/s, and its spine is going to be 10Gb/s soon. Benefits of this reconstruction is faster, more stable and more modern network that will facilitate the work of employees of ZŠMŠ Ohradní. To these improvements, I have mainly contributed by measurements. I participated in the design and implementation of new form of data network. I collaborated with fellow Poc to the configuration of active elements and network services in reconstructed network.

Life during high risk pregnancy from the perspective of a woman.
TŘEBÍNOVÁ, Klára
This bachelor thesis deals with a high risk pregnancy and considers the woman´s point of view. The work is divided into two main parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part was realized on the basis of literature. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the attention is paid to current situation and definition of pregnancy. This part also defines fertilization, implantation, implantation of the fetus, fetal development, pregnancy diagnosis, pregnancy changes and the role of midwives in prenatal counseling in 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the high risk pregnancy and its risk factors. One particular chapter describes hospitalization of woman in the department for high risk pregnancy that deals with pre-term birth, multiple pregnancies, bleeding during pregnancy, irregular positions of the fetus, disease affecting pregnant woman and midwifery care for women with high risk pregnancy. The theoretical part is concluded by the description of woman´s needs during hospitalization in the department for high risk pregnancy. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out if high risk pregnancy affect the needs of women during hospitalization. The research question was: How do high risk pregnancies affect the needs of women during hospitalization? It was used qualitative research and semi-structured interview for the research. The interview served for data collection and contained pre-prepared sets of questions. Interviews took place in the department for high risk pregnancy during the period of March and April 2015. The respondents were a total of ten women hospitalized in the department for high risk pregnancy in the hospital in České Budějovice. Interviews with respondents were held in calm predetermined locations. All respondents agreed to participate in the research, the agreement was carried out in writing, and were familiarized with the fact that all the information is collected for this bachelor thesis. The data was analyzed by coloring the text and creating its categories and subcategories. Direct speech is used to present the results of the interviews that are marked in italics in text. Two categories and subcategories were set. First category is called Information and its aim was to collect information given by women in the department for high risk pregnancy. This category includes the following subcategories: Source of information and Satisfaction of information. These subcategories inform us about sources and satisfaction with the information. Second category is called Needs and is preoccupied with the needs of women. This category includes three subcategories: Physiological Needs, Social Needs and "Psychological Needs" that deal with physiological, social and psychological needs. The research showed that hospitalization of women in the department for high risk pregnancy influenced especially bowel movement, sleep, rest, activity and nutrition. Some respondents were not satisfied with their state of health and with results of examination realized by doctors. On the other hand, the majority of respondents were satisfied with the information provided by midwives. Concerning another subcategory dealing with needs, all respondents said that their contact with friends and family was limited. For this reason, they tried to communicate with mobile phones and computers. In addition, hospitalization also affected their family life as they could not take care of older children and look after the household. Psychological condition was very important during hospitalization. Women felt worried about their state of health and the health of their unborn child. Respondents stated that their biggest psychological support was provided by their partner, husband, family, friends, and also midwives. This bachelor thesis can serve as informational source for midwives who work in the department for high risk pregnancy or as educational text for the public.

Analysis of physical activity school children.
HLAVÁČOVÁ, Barbora
This thesis focuses on the analysis of physical activity of older school-age childen. The work is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is devoted to child obesity and feature an older school-age period in terms of psychological, physical as well as locomotor development. The research part addresses the processing of questionnaires and subsequent comparison of physical activity in older school-age children in selected primary schools. The aim of public opinion survey is to compare physical activity and their relationship to them among girls and boys at rural and urban schools. It was found that 80% of children are involved in some sports activity in their free time. The boys are engaged in physical activities more than girls and also enjoy it more than them. Most children attend after-school sports club more than sports activities offered at school. Another finding was that children spend every day at the computer the same amount of time regardless whether they are from the city or village. An interesting finding was that BMI calculation shown that large number of children falls within the boundaries of underweight, its 26%. Normal weight is 62.9% of children and overweight is 10%. Only 2.5% of children are obese.

Problems of leisure time of children in the second stage of basic school and compensation school load
LEŽÁKOVÁ, Petra
The topic of my bachelor thesis is focused on middle school children and spending their free time and compensation of schoolwork. Nowadays, there is a large amount of extracurricular pursuits which children can follow in their free time. They can attend various leisure-time centres, centres for children and youth, school centres and clubs and many others providing leisure-time activities. These centres primarily offer sport activities, afternoon clubs, educational trips and a great deal of other pursuits. Children also pass their leisure time passively, mostly watching TV or using a computer. This is the reason why this issue should be dealt with. We should help children to fill their free time productively and effectively so that they would be able to use it to pursue their hobbies and interests. There are a lot of factors which can considerably influence spending free time such as a family, friends and peers but also teachers or a school which a child attends and many others. My work is divided into two parts. First of them is the theoretical part.section of my bachelor thesis concerns compensation of schoolwork. Second part of the thesis, the practical one, is based on a quantitative research consisting of questionnaires concerning leisure preferences of middle school children. Results of the above-mentioned questionnaires are compiled into graphs and presented in this work. The primary aim of this thesis was to monitor how the youth of today passes their leisure time. To accomplish the objective, four hypotheses were suggested: Hypothesis 1: Today?s children prefer spending their free time passively rather than actively Hypothesis 2: When spending free time passively, children prefer using computer to watching TV Hypothesis 3: Sport activities are more popular with boys rather than girls Hypothesis 4: Pupils prefer playing teams sports to doing individual sports

Education of pupils with childhood autism
JANTOŠOVÁ, Petra
Legislation currently enables developing teaching methods for every child with special needs taking into account the child's specific possibilities and capabilities. The choice of suitable individual teaching methods and techniques for every child is a major factor of success in education and is equally needed in the education of pupils with childhood autism. The theoretical part of the Bachelor thesis deals with childhood autism in context of autistic spectrum disorders, childhood autism being one of them. The thesis describes the characteristics of this disorder and its variable, not autism-specific features, mentioning diagnostics with regard to teaching pupils suffering from childhood autism and describing a family with an autistic child and its role in education. Increased attention is paid to the possibilities in teaching pupils with child autism within the existing system of education and, above all, to educational methods used with children suffering from this disorder. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to establish what methods are included in teaching pupils with childhood autism. Another objective was to check the educational techniques applied with this group of pupils in a family setting. A qualitative research has been chosen as the method of gathering information. Data was collected via semi-structured interviews conducted across a selected sample of respondents. Interviews were conducted with two respondent groups using predefined questions. The first group consisted of selected special education teachers educating pupils with childhood autism and the second group was comprised of selected parents whose children suffer from this disorder. The results of the thesis contain processed interviews with selected respondents from both groups, subsequently supported by a well-arranged table. The results of the research provide information about what methods are used to teach pupils with childhood autism in a school and a family setting. The thesis also presents opinions of specialists and parents of autistic children regarding educational techniques and their practical usage and application. The results of the research are subsequently compared mutually and also against specialised information sources. The research performed as part of this thesis revealed that structured teaching is the most frequently included technique in teaching pupils with childhood autism, with each pupil individually, depending on his possibilities and capabilities. Further application of educational methods in teaching pupils with childhood autism matches with what can be found in literature and the theoretical part of the thesis. Apart from structured teaching, educators use methods like global reading when working with this group of pupils, plus elements of problematic behaviour therapy and social skills training, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), computer software and pictograms. Interviews with parents confirmed that structured teaching is also the most frequently applied technique in a family setting. Parents choose methods according to their children's needs and try following their emotions and what they consider best for their child. Families as well as schools use structured learning on an individual basis as per the child's needs and parents also use the global reading method and computer software. Families, at the same time, commonly use the elements Son-rise method in combination with alternative teaching of Maria Montessori which may be seen as a certain difference to the application of educational methods at schools. No major differences between the family and the school setting have been identified with respect to educational methods used in teaching pupils with childhood autism. This Bachelor thesis provides and insight into the application of teaching methods by families and schools where pupils suffering from childhood autism receive their education.
