Bajcura, Lubomír ; Šotolová, Eva (advisor) ; Sochůrek, Jan (referee) ; Černíková, Vratislava (referee)
In the year 2007 for the Prison Service of the Czech Republic the new treatment program for offenders of commercially motivated sexual abuse of children became preferred. Community is very focused on this area of criminality. In 2007 there were 1 205 of abuse of children. Getting over the long-standing taboo has criminological consequences, which has been confirmed by records on sexual abuse and maltreatment in personal files of dangerous offenders. Therefore, special treatment with offenders of sexual abuse of children represents part of the fight against the most serious criminality and contributes to protection to the most vulnerable members of our community. Commercially motivated sexual abuse of children has been frequently accomplished through a third person that uses pressure or violence on a child. That is why offenders deny their guilt before both the community and their own conscience. The standardized program should guide an offender towards recognition of reasons and consequences of his/her criminal activities. The research part of this thesis concentrates on how the program is perceived by both the offenders and the realization team. The huge potential of the educational part of the program, where facts and theoretical information on the specific criminal activities play the formative role, was...

Foreigners in the CR
Ageeva, Daria ; Grosz, Jan (advisor) ; Macháček, Otakar (referee)
The aim of this work is with the help of statistical methods to analyse data relating to foreigners in the Czech Republic. The main group for the study are representatives of the former Soviet Union. The work reflects the changes having taken place in the structure of foreigners in recent years, and also makes attempts to propose possible changes in the number of national and other indicators in the nearest future. The theoretical part presents the basic terms related to this work such as migration, immigrant and others, it is followed by the classification of migration from different perspectives. In this part of the work attention is also paid to the history of world migration, its modern trends and tendencies, positive and negative aspects of the impact of migration as it is important to consider the issue in a broader context. The practical part consists of the analysis of the data acquired and processed by the author, which deduce trends of indicators and their changes. At the end of this part, there are given the results of questioning about the migrants living in the Czech Republic, their position in the society and the problems associated with their residence in the Czech republic.

Analýza dat týkajících se risku sebevraždy u mentálně nemocných
Hron, Jiří ; Rauch, Jan (advisor) ; Malá, Ivana (referee)
The three goals of this thesis are to present a coherent overview of the research on suicide in both the general population and among mentally ill, to analyse records of hospitalisations of mentally ill from years 2006 to 2012 while looking for patterns either leading to identification of suicide risk factors or useful for predicting probability of suicide at the time of discharge, and finally to compare a selected subset of statistical, data mining and machine learning methods in relation to their applicability to the second goal. The overview is based on information from over 40 published articles. The analysis and the comparison make use of associative rules mining, visual and stepwise methods for exploration, standard and conditional logistic regression models for inference, and variations of random forests for prediction. To the best of author's knowledge, none of the three goals was previously pursued by any other researcher in the Czech Republic, certainly not using the data set provided for purposes of this thesis. A new modification of random forest combined with a set of logistic regression in order to refine prediction accuracy is also briefly explored. The structure closely follows the above--stated goals starting from the chapters on related work and on the theoretical basis of the methods used, and concluding by the analysis itself and discussion of its results.

Contemporary German integration policy and consequences of illegal migration
Kučerová, Julie ; Šiklová, Jiřina (advisor) ; Moravcová, Dagmar (referee)
According to the approximate estimation of the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees the number of residing immigrants has reached almost 7 million with a considerable fraction of people with a residence history being longer than 20 years. Despite the ongoing debates on the immigrant integration and integration policy since the seventies, the official German integration policy has been established no sooner than in 2005 within the context of the Immigration Act (das Zuwanderungsgesetz). Firstly, the proposed bachelor thesis deals with the development of the immigration, covering the period from the post-war era till today. The focus is in particular targeted to the immigration into western parts of Germany due to the more complex and wider structure of immigration compared to the eastern areas. That is also why the first attempts at an official integration policy originated from Western Germany. Secondly, the thesis handles the integration development after the year 2005 and simultaneously follows this development also from the immigrants' perspective. The immigrants' position on the employment market as well as the scholarship status are being subjected to analysis. Third, the number of information resources concerning illegal migration is lower and what is more, the whole field might appear...

The transformation of the Czech economy and its affect on foreign trade
Komorová, Eliška ; Klosová, Anna (advisor) ; Gullová, Soňa (referee)
Transformation of a central planned economy into a market economy is a difficult process that caused many changes in the social, political and economic sphere. In this period of time, state owned companies must have been privatized, the prices and foreign trade must have been liberalized, and the foreign trade policy must have been changed and adapted to the European standards. These fundamental changes reflected in the macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic and in the territorial and commodity structure of Czech foreign trade. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the course of the transformation era and to provide information about its impact on foreign trade of the Czech Republic.

The training of paramedics for rescue operations in terrain which is difficult to access
VOTRUBOVÁ, Jitka
This thesis is focused on the topic of training of paramedics for rescue operations in terrain difficult to access. The aim of the study was to chart/evaluate/assess the training of several rescue teams from the Czech Republic and their equipment for rescue operations in terrain which is difficult to access. The thesis consists of two main parts, the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the personality of paramedics and their assumptions for this work. For the purpose of this study, the rescue teams working in terrain which is difficult to access were chosen, namely the Air Rescue Service from Hosín - České Budějovice, Mountain Rescue Service of the Czech Republic from Kramolín Lipno nad Vltavou, and Water Rescue Service from Dolní Vltavice. The level of training, psychology of team and communication between individual members of group were described for each team. Furthermore, the equipment used for transportation and first aid was delineated/assessed. The issue of geography was also taken into consideration. The practical part describes the methods and results of research. The qualitative method with semi-structured interviews was applied. Interviews were conducted on paramedics in their stations, There were 12 participants (11 males and 1 female) from three rescue teams with the age span from 27 to 57 years. The participants for this study were chosen on the basis of their experience. Interviews were transcribed and summarized in tables. The results of this study provide evidence of differences in level of training as well as quality/ type, of equipment between particular teams. The training of paramedics for rescue operations in terrain which is difficult to access differs between teams. This difference is mainly given by Mountain Service (see Table 5) that must also undergo physical tests and examinations in geography. There is also difference in the equipment used for work in terrain which is difficult to access predominantly in types of vehicles used. It is evident from Table 6 that the motor vehicles differ depending on the terrain where most paramedics give first aid.
