Cílem této práce je analyzovat pomocí statistických metod data týkající se cizinců na území České republiky. Hlavní skupinou pro studium jsou zástupci zemí bývalého sovětského svazu. V práci jsou zohledněny změny, které probíhají ve struktuře cizinců v posledních letech, a také provedeny pokusy navrhnout možné změny v počtu cizích státních příslušníků a dalších ukazatelů v blízké budoucnosti. V teoretické části jsou prezentovány základní pojmy spojené s danou prací, jako jsou migrace, imigranti a další, dále je uvedena klasifikace migrace z různých úhlů pohledu. Kromě toho, v této části práce je nezbytné uvést historii světové migrace, její moderní trendy a tendence, pozitivní a negativní aspekty vlivu migrace, protože je důležité zamyslet se nad problematikou v širším kontextu. Praktická část se skládá z analýzy získaných a zpracovaných autorem dat, odvození trendů ukazatelů a jejich změn. Dále jsou v ní prezentovány výsledky provedeného autorem průzkumu veřejného mínění o životě migrantů v České republice, jejich postavení ve společnosti a problémech spojených s pobytem v ČR. The aim of this work is with the help of statistical methods to analyse data relating to foreigners in the Czech Republic. The main group for the study are representatives of the former Soviet Union. The work reflects the changes having taken place in the structure of foreigners in recent years, and also makes attempts to propose possible changes in the number of national and other indicators in the nearest future. The theoretical part presents the basic terms related to this work such as migration, immigrant and others, it is followed by the classification of migration from different perspectives. In this part of the work attention is also paid to the history of world migration, its modern trends and tendencies, positive and negative aspects of the impact of migration as it is important to consider the issue in a broader context. The practical part consists of the analysis of the data acquired and processed by the author, which deduce trends of indicators and their changes. At the end of this part, there are given the results of questioning about the migrants living in the Czech Republic, their position in the society and the problems associated with their residence in the Czech republic.
