The Concept of Baptism by Jan Bechyňka in the Traktát o viděních a pokušeních zbožného mládence (Tractate of Visions and Temptations of Devout Youth) and in the Treatise O křtu zvonu (On baptism of the Bell).
Beranová, Bohumila ; Rejchrtová, Noemi (advisor) ; Halama, Ota (referee)
The thesis deals with conception of baptism by utraquist priest Jan Bechyňka. At first the figure of the peculiar writer and theologian after being introduced is integrated into historical connections of the jagellonian era. The chapters that follow aim at the particular topic. Bechyňka ́s view of pedobaptism drawn from a long passage about commitment of baptism from his Traktát o viděních a pokušeních zbožného mládence [The Tractate on Visions and Temptations of Devout Youth] is compared with pedobaptism in Chelčický ́s Zprávy o svátostech [Reports of Sacraments] and with baptism in general of another Chečický ́s work - Rozpravy [Disccusions] in Parisian manuscript. At first I had intended finding out paralles between mentioned thinkers, however certain differences have appeared as well, not in essential facts. In the case of Bechyňka ́s tractate O křtu zvonu [On Baptism of the Bell] I give an interpretation to it in the concrete. The last chapter deals with utraquist baptismal praxis in the early modern times and in the present day and in general describes baptismal rites of these times. As a apendix I add Bechyňka ́s tractate O křtu zvonu [On Baptism of the Bell] with a commentary and transcriptional notes. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Comparison of two models of forest transpiration
Šír, Miloslav ; Čermák, J. ; Naděždina, N. ; Naděždin, V. ; Tesař, Miroslav
Two transpiration models were tested in the paper, one is with plant control, and another without plant control. Principle of the (1) model with plant control was, that physical mechanism of transpiration is evaporation actively controlled by plants. The supposed mechanism is: part of the heat (heat equivalent of the energy absorbed from solar radiation), which would cause overheating the plant above 25 ºC is dissipated by evaporation. The model has five physical parameters, which are in principle measurable. (2) The model without plant control is based on the assumption, that transpiration dissipates a constant fraction of the heat from the heat equivalent of absorbed solar radiation (about 45 %). The model needs only one measurable physical parameter. Both models were tested by comparing their results with results actually measured daily totals of transpiration (via sap flow) in the floodplain forest Pohansko (near the town of Břeclav, southernmost Moravia), which was typical with almost non-limiting soil water supply over the period May 1 to Sept. 30, 1998. Results of both models were almost equal. We discussed their physical differences evaluating their goals and weak points and specified a program for further testing the physical mechanism of transpiration.

Mikroskopické houby v půdě, listovém opadu, exkrementech a střevním traktu .i.Dendrobaena mrazeki./i. (Lumbricidae)
Nováková, Alena ; Pižl, Václav
Species diversity and quantitative parameters (mycelial length, CFU counts) of saprotrophic microfungi assemblages were studied in the intestine and casts of .i.D. mrazeki./i. and compared with those in soil and litter at four plots of a thermophilous oak forest in Southern Moravia (Czech Republic) in 2004. Soil dilution plate method and soil washing technique and three isolation media were used for the isolation of fungi. Differences in species number and composition of fungi assemblages were found both among individual substrates studied and between the results of different isolation methods. Number of species isolated by the soil dilution plate method was higher in earthworm casts than in soil, however, the opposite results were obtained using soil washing technique. CFU counts reached the highest values in leaf litter.

Dynamics of N2O emissions after C and N amendments of soil at the cattle overwintering area
Hynšt, Jaroslav ; Brůček, Petr ; Čuhel, Jiří ; Šimek, Miloslav
Field experiments were carried out at the cattle overwintering area in South Bohemia, Czech Republic, focused on the emissions of N2O after soil amendments with nitrate and glucose. Emissions were estimated using a permanent static chamber technique. Nitrate and glucose amendments caused very sharp increases of N2O fluxes, which however diminished after 2-3 days. Total amount of N2O escaping the soil was related to the amount of N and C added, and was calculated to 1-15 kg N.ha-1 (0.2-3% of N applied). Emissions were heterogeneous, which is shown by great differences among the individual chambers. Emissions were variable in time and very probably were controlled by temperature, as they approximately followed the air and surface soil temperature patterns. Despite the timing of amendment application, peaks of emissions were always determined 6 hours after the amendments.
