Title: Career Efficiency of the Czech junior national teams swimmers in years 1999-2004 Objective of the thesis: The thesis objective is to determine in what measure we deal with the problem of early Czech swimmers specialization nowadays. I want to point out this problem from the view of the Czech junior representatives. I am interested in the lenght of their careers, age of their top performance and if they continue in their careers up to now. I have chosen junior swimmers who built up the Czech national team in years 1999 - 2004 and I follow their careers from the very beginning till the very end. Method: Data collection has been provided by study of the document. Throught the computer analysis of the the collected data has been processed an overview of of the career lenght of Czech junior representatives in swimming. Results: Gained results provide an overview of the career lenght of Czech junior representatives in chosen disciplines. Innovation activities in Germany in the context of smart specialisation

Economic growth is slowing in many countries. It leads to a discussion on what sources of growth should countries focus. For this purpose, EU created the concept of smart specialization, which puts an emphasis on the most efficient use of public financial resources dedicated to research and development. The aim of this thesis is to find out on what industry Germany as a leader of EU innovation and its individual regions specializes and to identify potential areas for targeting resources to innovation, research and development. This will be determined by using the patent network. The secondary objective is to interconnect findings of patenting and analysis of innovation activities in various regions of Germany with international trade and to determine whether there is a correlation between innovation activity in a particular sector and export of the sector's products abroad.

Possibilities of using cloud technologies in the area of shararing economy and FinTech

This thesis is mapping in a detail and describes the current situation and prediction of the penetration of information technology based mostly on the cloud and blockchain technologies into the real global economy and identifying trends that affect these areas. Focus is primarily on socialization of services, concept of sharing economy and financial-technology (FinTech) companies. Next part describes the process of maturing of information technologies, which enables bypassing of costly intermediaries, who are replaced by other users or advanced algorithms in the fields, which werent fundamentally touched by ICT until now. Work intersects the knowledge of the of the IT industry and minor specialization from FFU VSE.

The role of social worker in the workplace of private enterprise

My thesis is trying to answer the question whether and how can social worker be of use in a private sector without giving up his/her traditional role. In this thesis, I am introducing a specialized field of social work, occupational social work, which refers to employer's provision of social services to their employees. I am describing main historical factors that led to the formation of this specialized field and also factors that have been influencing the field until today. I look at the development and formation of occupational social work from global perspective. I provide examples from five countries representing five different continents - Australia, India, South Africa, Germany and the USA. Further on I describe particular roles within which a social worker can have a positive impact on employees whose work performance is dropping due to the negative influence of their personal problems. Apart from work with individual employees, a social worker can focus also on improving social climate of the whole enterprise. Employment in a state-funded institution

This bachelor thesis is focused on employment in a state-funded institution. It is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part.
The theoretical part deals with analysis of legal regulations and their interpretation. The method of description is used in this part. The focus in legal regulations is on the problems of a state-funded institution, namely on the legal position and functioning and on management. The focus is also on labour relations, from the general definition to the conclusion of employment for a fixed period of time. The analysis of legal regulations is complemented with interpretations of authors of specialized publications.
Direct and indirect quotations are used in the text and are marked with footnotes.
The empirical part of this thesis deals with the application of legal regulations in a particular state-funded institution. The order of researched areas is in accordance with the theoretical part. The method of comparison and study of documents and internal regulations are used for analysing the data.
The primary research has shown that the legal regulations are applied without difficulty. The discovered discrepancy between the used terminology and the terminology in the Civil code does not invalidate legal documents and thus there is no need to mark it as a defect which needs to be fixed. Suggestions for discussion have been made, for which measures were proposed in the concluding part. The suggestions relate to arrangement of employment for a fixed period of time and its change to permanent contract and to allowance from the founder as a financial mean of a state-funded institution.

A Contractual fine Keywords Contractual fine, damages Summary The aim of this Master's degree thesis is to analyze the usage of contractual fine in civil-law relations. This essentially very useful institute is used in almost every possible contract although often without proper knowledge or sometimes even without good intention. The main goal of this study therefore may be simply to provide parts of the contract with a guide called "How to arrange (not)valid contractual fine". The thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the contractual fine. Chapter One searches for the best available definition of contractual fine both in specialized literature and in injudicial sources and points out differences in point of view of the authors. Chapter Two deals with the purpose of contractual fine and hierarchy of its functions in order to provide deeper understanding of situations suitable for arranging a contractual fine. Chapter Three focuses on the basic characteristic of contractual fine mainly in contrast to the attributes of punitive interests which is the institute of some similar functions. Stability and convergence of numerical computations

Tato disertační práce se zabývá analýzou stability a konvergence klasických numerických metod pro řešení obyčejných diferenciálních rovnic. Jsou představeny klasické jednokrokové metody, jako je Eulerova metoda, Runge-Kuttovy metody a nepříliš známá, ale rychlá a přesná metoda Taylorovy řady. V práci uvažujeme zobecnění jednokrokových metod do vícekrokových metod, jako jsou Adamsovy metody, a jejich implementaci ve dvojicích prediktor-korektor. Dále uvádíme generalizaci do vícekrokových metod vyšších derivací, jako jsou např. Obreshkovovy metody. Dvojice prediktor-korektor jsou často implementovány v kombinacích modů, v práci uvažujeme tzv. módy PEC a PECE. Hlavním cílem a přínosem této práce je nová metoda čtvrtého řádu, která se skládá z dvoukrokového prediktoru a jednokrokového korektoru, jejichž formule využívají druhých derivací. V práci je diskutována Nordsieckova reprezentace, algoritmus pro výběr proměnlivého integračního kroku nebo odhad lokálních a globálních chyb. Navržený přístup je vhodně upraven pro použití proměnlivého integračního kroku s přístupe vyšších derivací. Uvádíme srovnání s klasickými metodami a provedené experimenty pro lineární a nelineární problémy.

Are There Any Digital Curators in Czech Libraries?

The development of digital repositories reveals the need for new Czech terminologies for library positions. One such job title or specialization is “digital curator”, a term which refers to a specialist responsible for digital collections. Competencies for digital curators include technical, organizational, communication, and marketing skills as well as some level of expertise in computer science as well as in information and library science. A survey of several administrators of Czech digital libraries asks how to best professionally label this group of library staff with respect to the actual activities they perform in their jobs - digital curators, administrators of digital libraries, or digital librarians? Job titles have a strong impact on higher education curricula, on the management of libraries, and also on the coordinated system of remuneration of employees at libraries, academic, and research institutions.

Off-grid street lamp design.

Oblast problémů, ze kterých konkrétní téma projektu vychází, zahrnuje současnou globální transformaci zdrojů energie a jejich dodávek se zvláštní pozorností na obnovitelné zdroje energie. Důraz je kladen zejména na hodnoty jež přináší produkt určený k užívání ve veřejných prostorách. Autorovým zadáním bylo navrhnout osvětlovací jednotku nezávislou na vnějším zdroji napájení. Cílem návrhu je přehodnotit způsob, jakým jsou dnes technologie využívání sluneční a větrné energie běžně používány, a navrhnout řešení přinášející nové vlastnosti a užitné hodnoty pro přímého uživatele i celou společnost. Autor přináší návrh produktu jenž je reakcí na současné globální hrozby a příležitosti. Výsledkem projektu je návrh pouliční lampy kombinující fotovoltaický článek a větrnou turbínu s cílem získat elektrickou energii jež je dočasně akumulována a následně dodávána svítidlu. V návrhu je kladen důraz na požadavky ergonomie a estetickou hodnotu produktu. Navržené řešení znamená finanční přínos z hlediska šetření neobnovitelnými zdroji energie a případnými finančními výhodami pro investora plynoucími z provozování veřejného osvětlení. Pouliční lampa nezávislá na vnějším zdroji napájení má navíc menší negativní dopad na životní prostředí a představuje technologie využívání větrné a solární energie v přívětivé a nerušivé podobě.
