Czech supervisor authority in the consumer protection

Diploma thesis is aimed at the Czech supervisor authority in the consumer protection. The main object is to find out Czech consumer awareness of the working of The Czech Trade Inspection Authority. Necessary information is found out using questionnaire survey and controlled depth interview. On the basis of observed results the recommendations for improvement are suggested.

Catholic newpaper in the days of lack of freedom 1949-1968

The present study Catholic Newspaper between 1949 and 1968 deals with a historical analysis of the Catholic Newspaper which was established in order to implement repressive measures of the Communist Party against the Catholic Church. This study also discusses the situation of the Catholic Church after 1948 when the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia came to power. The Catholic Newspaper was established in 1949 and at that time, it represented the only periodical of the Catholic Church which could strengthen the belief of people as well as provide religious education. Other Catholic journals were discontinued shortly after the Communist coup in February 1948. The Catholic Church became one of the major enemies of the new government. A part of this study deals with the negotiations of the main representatives of the state as well as the Catholic Church. The failure of establishing an agreement led to a new religious policy in Czechoslovakia; the policy comprised administrative measures against the Catholic Church, processes with Church Authorities and restrictions in the education system of theologians. Nonstandardised option contracts - warrants

The thesis is mapping current situation on the market in warrants as nonstandardised option contracts. Particular attention is paid to the special issues of warrants modified into the form of so called "access products". The function of such financial instrument is to open extraordinary investment opportunity to certain kind of investors, who otherwise are not allowed to make direct investment into the underlying asset itself. Access products can be considered as particular financial innovation, which spread out on Central European capital markets. The most familiar form of access products are low strike price covered call warrants, the characteristics of which are being analyzed and compared to standard options and warrants. The author also focuses on the process of issuing warrant securities on Czech capital market according to Czech law and problems linked to it, which the issuer encounters. The thesis proves on the example of Fondul Proprietatea Warrants, which were in 2010 successfully placed to third market of Vienna Stock Exchange by Czech entity, that such warrant issue is possible despite of material complications stemming from the absence of clear definition of warrants in Czech law.

Copyright protection of computer's programs Summary The mainly points of my thesis are to show and provide with the basic information about the legal protection of computer's programs. This is in my opinion the mainly topic. In my diploma paper I've focused on valid computer's programs legal protection based on the Czech Author Act No. 121/2000 Sb., right of authorship, related rights of authorship and the variation others rights (the right of authorship) and also supportive by criminal rights. This valid legal protection corresponds to Europe's and international law systems. The computer's programs are protected by the rights of authorship like literary work (if they fulfill the conditions mentioned in § 2 art. 1 or § 2 art. 2 rights of authorship). With respect to computer's programs the rights of authorship contain this law special § 65 and § 66 which explain the limitation of the rights. The other points of the thesis are about licence's agreements and about how to get legal computer's program. I also mentioned author's pretension following from the rights of authorship. Regarding to the discussion about protection the programs I mentioned often arguments pro and con rights of patents. Registered (prescribed) capital of capital companies, its creation and protection

Résumé Authorized Capital of Stock Companies, its Formation and Protection Czech legal regulations related to authorized capital stem from the European concept of the real formation and preservation of the authorized capital that leads particularly to providing minimum guarantee rate of the stock company to its creditors. Authorized capital is an abstract number and it expresses the financial value of assets invested in the stock capital by its partners. The Commercial Code shall expressly stipulate the duty of authorized capital formation for the limited liability company as well as joint-stock company. The duty to form authorized capital at their formation may be indirectly permitted also for limited partnerships. In professional literature, the three basic functions of authorized capital are traditionally listed. Guarantee function, authorized capital as profit and loss measure and authorized capital as a mean to specify partner's share in the company. The concept of real authorized capital formation adopted by most European legal systems is based on achieving correspondence between the authorized capital and real capital and capital preservation through protective rules. Summary This work dealt with the problem of economic crime, with a focus on public procurement. The work is detailed history of public procurement and its impact on the proper and economical use of public funds. It assessed the current and previous legislation on public procurement. There are also addressed basic terminological concepts such as authority, the candidate, candidate, contractor, then the contract according to the subject, according to the default values, etc., and the procedure the contracting authority and tenderers, along with activities related to the award of public contracts. In the context of economic crime are listed in the work and dismantling some of the facts of crimes, including their characteristics. Economic crime is a reader here and described how, in relation to criminal legal penalties, as well as in relation to the impact of the economic situation for the State. Route Mapping for Wheelchair Users in Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko

This work deals with accessibility of nature sites for the handicapped people, particularly wheelchair users. It informs about the accessibility of protected landscape areas and national parks in the Czech Republic. The legislative frame of the system of tourism for wheelchair users is still insufficient. Thanks to a few organizations and individuals, several handicapped-accessible nature trails were developed. The aim of this work is to map current possibilities of visiting the Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko on a wheelchair. Although the terrain of the area is rather difficult to acces, it was possible to create six new trails through this countryside. The tracks are suitable for wheelchair users in mechanical wheelchair with company. Five of these tracks lead through the area of Broumov's rocks and last track shows a part of the Adršpach Rock Town. The trails vary from three to six kilometers of length and they mostly covered with tarmac. One of the aims of the thesis is to produce an information leaflet monitoring routes for wheelchair users.
