The marketing plan and it´s execution for ATLANTIK FT, a. s.

Nowadays, marketing tools are the key factors to enforce the market as well as to seek new customers. Therefore, marketing planning should be the integral part of any enterprise that wants to succeed in markets. The aim of this Diploma Thesis is to point out the practical aspects of how to process the marketing plan of a particular product. On this basis, it will be able to find the result of the real compliance between theoretical methods how to prepare a marketing plan, generally described in literature, and the real practice. The theoretical part describes general information about the marketing plan and its particular parts, as well as their preparation, implementation and verification. The rest of the Thesis is focused on the description of the real preparation of the new product called eATLANTIK within a company ATLANTIK FT, a. s.. It consists of initial impulse based on the long-term strategic goals, through the preparation of specific parts of the marketing plan. The following methodological tools were utilized in the Thesis: observation, description, deduction, comparison, and other applications.

Comparison of selected frameworks for web applications development in PHP

This work presents a comparison of several selected frameworks for developing Web applications in PHP. It includes analysis of key features and approaches of modern development frameworks which is important for understanding their functions. Brief description of each framework (CodeIgniter, Zend, Prado, Yii) precedes a thorough comparison. The comparison is based on defined criteria and examination whether and how a particular framework meets that criterion. Included commentary of implementation details of chosen properties introduces readers to the technical details of the solution. Work touches on questions of choice of an appropriate framework and presents its own evaluation of each selected framework.

Personality typology during the choice of career

My dissertation is focused on analysing the importance of personality typology during the choice of career. The theoretical part is aimed at the clarification of related key concepts, summary of knowledge concerning the personality typology and explanation of chosen theories dealing with personality typology. I paid particular attention to the type indicator MBTI, which is subsequently used in the practical part. The methodological part follows the theoretical part. The methodological part delimits the particular phases of the research and together with the theoretical part serves as a basis for the practical part. Within the practical part the personality typology issues used during the choice of career are analysed through the research and subsequently the interpretation of ascertained results is mentioned.

Personal experiences of teenagers with drug

This bachelor's work is focused on teenager's drugs experience and shows current situation in some selected secondary schools in Prague. It compares student's attitude and experience among gymnasium and secondary practice school with most common addictive substances, such as cigarettes, alcohol and marijuana. This work investigates extent of compatibility addictive substances with studies, parenthood and career. Theoretical part look into the cause of drug abuse, risks which follow from addicted behavior and juvenile crime in connection with drug abuse. There is summary of specific effects of addictive substances on teenagers and particular stages of the dependency progress. At the end of the theoretical part of this work you will find way of prevention and the official Czech Republic anti-drug strategy. This work is highlighting that drugs are very serious global problem of our today's world, and warning against the dangerous way of underestimation of drug abuse across all society. The prevention at school and families has to be a must. The most common used words: teenager - drugs - cigarettes - alcohol - marijuana - addiction - prevention

Corporate enterprises at the Continental and American legal system

The main goal of the thesis is to compare the legal regulations of the corporate enterprise in the selected countries of the Continental legal system and the corporations of the American legal system with the corporate enterprise acording to the Czech law. Considering the range of the work the focus will be concerned on stock-corporations of the Continental and American legal system. In the thesis there are briefly described the legal regulations of the Czech stock-corporations, followed by descriptions of the stock-corporations in the selected countries (France, Germany, Austria and USA) in more details. There are futher described both Continental and American legal systems, as well as their history, development, characteristic features including sources of law, which are the basis of the treatise on stock-corporations. Therefore, the primary goal is the basic description and afterwards a comparison of the particular legal regulations of the stock-corporations. Methodology of the work appears from the scientific comparative method.

The business plan for SnackBag company and its expansion into the foreign markets

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for the newly established business subject in the health food industry and evaluate the viability of the plan. The plan also includes the choice of the appropriate form of potential expansion into the foreign market. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. To create this business plan, firstly it was necessary to write down the complex theoretical framework of the basic aspects which are crucial for small and medium businesses. Secondly, it was needed to sum up the general principles of creating a business plan, characterise its structure and mention the most common mistakes and problems that entrepreneurs may encounter. The theoretical part is concluded by a description of the appropriate forms of expansion for small and medium businesses. Based on this theoretical framework the business plan for the company SnackBag was created with the emphasis on the project´s financial calculation. The calculations confirm the business plan as viable. Analysis of the main advantages and disadvantages of particular forms of expansion to foreign markets concludes that the franchise was evaluated as the most suitable for SnackBag.

Analysis and design of intranet structure

Nowadays, Intranet is an inseparable part of every company, notwithstanding of their size or field of activity. Both, in my work and personal life, I often come across different intranets that usually do not get a positive response. But they usually have the same source of the problem, which is based on their wrong structure. This is why is chose this topic for my thesis. The goal of my thesis is to perform an analysis of an existing intranet of a particular company and subsequently create a design of the intranet new structure using the card-sorting method. This thesis primarily represents a generalized method of how to proceed during such realization and which areas to look into. Theoretical part of this thesis covers the topics of information architecture and also the term intranet itself, where the most frequent issues I came across in the intranets are pointed out. Practical part covers the analysis itself, where I focus on the structure of the existing intranet, categorization of its content, connections with other systems, customization, permission management, surveys of contentment, and intranet usage. The analysis is performed manually by scanning through the existing intranet of the company, since other methods or approaches could not be applied due to technical limitations or insufficient permis-sions. Based on the outputs of the analysis, web categorizations and the card-sorting method, a design of a structure of the new intranet has been proposed. The design itself is a demonstration of the method how to approach the new intranet design.

Josef Herscher. The Secret of His Coming and Working in the West Bohemia in the Baroque period

135 Summary This study deals with Josef Herscher, a sculptor of the late baroque period, who worked in West Bohemia. The first notice about his presence there comes from 1720, other apper during the next years till 1756 when Herscher died. During that time ruled in Manětín Marie Gabriela Lažanská, who wanted to increase the fame of the city. In 1719 died another sculptor, Štěpán Borovec, who had worked in Manětín before Josef Herscher. He is the author of e.g. The Trinity Statue on the main square. It is said, that the statue was finished by Borovec's son Václav Borovec. We assume, that Václav Borovec could have helped Josef Herscher in his workroom and could have been one of Herscher's journeymen. Štěpán Borovec studied in Prague in the workroom of Jan Brokof. We know from the teaching-paper, that he was educated there. Statues of Saints by Josef Herscher have many common features with these by Ferdinand Maxmilián Brokof. This study compares them with St. Elizabeth, St. John of Nepomuk, Holy Virgin and many others. It seems, Josef Herscher knew the production of Brokof's workroom from the beginning of the 18th century to the late twenties of this century. He used the whole composition of particular statues as so as small details from their faces or gesticulation, which he adapted according to his own...

Mobile equipment for the surface hardening

Diploma thesis is specialized in an engineering design of mobile equipment for the surface hardening. At first, overview of methods and instruments for surface hardening is introduced. Solution to the thesis is a proposial for any eventual options of contruction, appreciation and choice of a suitable option. Subsequently, particular parts of the equipment with design and check calculations are explicated. Constructional tasks were done in the SolidWorks program. Finally, an economical analysis is described.
