Possibilities of using leisure and experiential pedagogy in relation to the teaching of biology

This bachelor thesis deals with experiential education and leisure education and possibilities of using their aspects in schools teaching, especially in Biology and Natural history. There is a need for clarification of definitions in the introduction, which will be followed by a brief chapter on history of experiential learning and leisure education in Czech environment. The main goal of this thesis is to point out that aspects of both branches of education have already been used in some modern education methods. Selected methods are closely described, for example their possible benefits and disadvantages or their extent in education at Czech schools. In conclusion, those methods are then compared with experiential learning and leisure education for confirmation of the main hypothesis of this thesis.
Art Education and Pedagogy of Leisure Time

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the definition of Art education and Pedagogy of Leisure time. Their characteristics are described. The aim is to map leisure facilities dedicated to art activities in the city of Benátky nad Jizerou and its surroundings and designing art activities for one of the selected facilities. The intention was to realize this proposal, but this did not happen due to government measures as a result of the covid 19. The theoretical part describes the development, specifics and functions of leisure time and Pedagogy of Leisure Time. There are also shown selected facilities providing activities for children and youth in their free time. Due to my focusing on art education there is also described the art education. In my research I deal with two case studies of leisure facilities focused on art activities in Benátky nad Jizerou. I finding out their approach to leading these activities, how the management takes place, what groups of children and young people are visiting the facilities. In the didactic part I deal with the design of artistic activity for one of the mentioned facilities. Possible extensions and other ways of using the topic are also described.
The Pedagogical Potential of the School Club at the Dobřichovice Elementary School

Bachelor's thesis refers the issue of leisure time for pupils of first - degree primary school in a school club. The aim of work is to focus on an annual plan of the "School Club" at Primary School in Dobřichovice, for pupils of grade 4 and 5.This place represents a temporary safe place. Pupils should learn how to manage their leisure time in the afternoon before going to the second level of school. The work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with theoretical starting points of time from the point of view of philosophy, as well as the concept of leisure time in the life of pupils of younger school age. It deals with the interest activities and stated educational objectives in the leisure time of pupils. The practical part of the work contains a summary of the various activities of the annual plan and other activities in the school club. The annexes contain both the annual plan as well as the individual projects and activities divided into individual monthly units. This bachelor thesis deals with problems of a summer camp for children of younger school age, from the point of view of leisure time pedagogics and religion pedagogics. The thesis suggests what principles of leisure time and religion pedagogics such a holiday camp should respect. The theoretical part offers sources for the final project. The practical part has the form of a project for a holiday camp with religion education. This project in the practical part was prepared, realized and didacticly evaluated.
Possibilities to apply methods of personal and social education in leisuretime centres with using education technology

This diploma thesis of a didactic character presents use of specific methods of personal and social education in leisure time centers through methodical cards linked with educational technologies. These methodical cards were made and practically proven by the implementer of this thesis together with leisure-time activities teachers and subsequently critically evaluated. Research methods were used for a comparison of my personal experience with methodical cards and the experience of each participant, where at least 3 teachers commented on 1 methodological card, as well as the qualitative semi-structured interview, which found out the possibilities and limits of the use of these methodical cards and the quantitative research study in the form of a questionnaire, which is used to get an overview of the needs of leisure-time activities teachers. Based on that, it creates detailed methodological cards. The result was that all 10 developed and practically proven methodological cards are under specific conditions have practical use.
