Optical and mechanical tracking of a moving object
Chaloupka, Radim ; Zemčík, Tomáš (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a pan-tilt platform with a camera, the design of controllers for its control, and the design and implementation of algorithms for the detection of predefined, moving objects. The task of the system is to find the object on the scene and maintain its position so that it is always in the center of the image sensor. The work uses the C++ programming language and Raspberry Pi hardware. PS and PSD controllers designed by the Ziegler-Nichols method are used for pan-tilt platform positioning, and interest point detection methods implemented in OpenCV libraries are used for optical tracing.
Tracking of graduates of secondary vocational schools
Nazarov, Džalal ; Liška, Roman (advisor) ; Veteška, Jaroslav (referee)
Regular evaluation of graduates' satisfaction with the school and the quality of education provided is one of the important tools of quality management in education. Through regular and targeted tracing of former pupils, it is possible to detect mismatches between education and labour market requirements, but also to identify facts that can improve the quality of school education and provide valuable feedback to school management. The thesis on "Tracking of secondary school leavers" is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the definitions and basic concepts related to this topic. These include, for example, concepts such as pupil and graduate, the education system in the Czech Republic, school climate and the influence of school climate on pupil satisfaction or factors influencing the choice of school. The aim of the thesis is to find out how former pupils are satisfied with the school they graduated from, the quality of education they received, how they evaluate the contribution of the education they received to their further studies and professional career and to translate these findings into recommendations for school management. The research questions can help us to achieve the aim of this paper. In the practical part of this thesis, the analysis of the...
3D Triangles Polygonal Mesh Conversion on 3D Spline Surfaces
Jahn, Zdeněk ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the problem of the remeshing of unstructured triangular 3D meshes to more suitable representations ( quadrilateral meshes or spline surfaces ). It explains the basic problems related with the unstructured meshes and the reasons for its solution. It classifies the usable methods, describes the most suitable candidates briefly. It follows the chosen method in detail - both the theoretical matter and the specific implementation.
Augmented reality and its use
Ibehej, David ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
Augmented reality is one of the most developed technological areas. It corresponds with the fact, that we hear more and more about it and therefore it needs to be considered for the future. This bachelor thesis attempts to provide brief research in topics of its definition, history, current usage, shortcomings and options in the field of game engines and developer tools. In second part it demonstrates possible utilization in industry providing the solution of mechanical component projection and interaction.
Traceability module for SCADA used in process industry
Byrtusová, Lucie ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on implementing a module for batch traceability into the existing SCADA system MagmaView. First, the theoretical part is dedicated to the research of ANSI/ISA-95 standard and traceability problematics in the process industry. First, the practical part analyses the design of the data model and model for user interaction. The next topic is the implementation of the mentioned models using several software tools such as the graphical environment of MagmaView, Groovy scripting, and communication with SQL database. Part of the implementation is also a testing project simulating a simple production process and the needs of the operator to work with the batches.
Detection and classification of flying objects
Jurečka, Tomáš ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The thesis deals with the detection and classification of flying objects. The work can be divided into three parts. The first part describes the creation of dataset of flying objects. The reverse image search is used to create the dataset. The next part is a research of algorithms for detection, tracking and classification. Subsequently, the individual algorithms are applied and evaluated. In the last part, the design of hardware components is performed.
Effective use of 3D Cad systems in the field of process engineering-I
Dítě, Jan ; Dvořák, Radek (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
This work is focused on effecitive use of 3D CAD systems in process and environmetal engineering. The system SolidWorks 2006 is applied. The purpose of this work is to describe creation of basic parts, assemblies and drawings in general way. Special attention is paid on the program unit Routing dedicated for piping system design. The work next describes the importace of reference items required and problems associated with routing subassembly.
Detection of objects and tracking the route of movement of traffic participants for the needs of intelligent transport nodes
Vymazal, Tomáš ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
The master‘s thesis is focused on the object detection. The aim of this thesis is to desine an experiment to assess the detection models YOLOv5, YOLOR, Scaled-YOLOv4 and EfficientDet and to compare their properties (detection speed, memory requirements, accuracy and certainty of detection). For this purpose a custom data set is created to investigate these parameters. The study shows that the YOLOv5 network is performd as the best solution. Deep SORT is used for object tracking which is important for the subsequent extraction of training data from video footage for object movement prediction. The added value is the design of the prediction algorithm which is based on a polynomial regression model.
