Comparison of University Education of Secondary School Teaching on Faculty of Education at University of South Bohemia and University of Passau

This diploma thesis deals with the initial teacher training with the focus on upper primary school at the Faculty of Education in České Budějovice in comparison to the University of Passau. It focuses on the professional key skills for teachers. For the practical part of this work, tke key parameters of these skills were created and according to them the two institutions, providing initial teacher training, were compared.
The Role of Teaching Practice in Development of Student of the Teachers Training for Primary School

The diploma thesis named Pedagogical practices and their tasks for primary school teachers' development deals with the topic of the pedagogical practices at colleges and universities. The thesis finds out the extent of students' being ready for carrying the practice out. The following task of the thesis is to describe what the students and beginner teachers think about the practice. The theoretical part is aimed at the pedagogical practice process and its connection with the primary teachers' education. Important part of the thesis is to compare the time extent of the practice at different colleges and universities. The practical part works with the qualitative research. The used methods for this part are questionnaire and interview. The pedagogical faculty students describe their experience with the pedagogical practices. The beginner teachers evaluate the level of the practices. Student teachers group learning activities

The thesis is focused on student teachers learning group activities. The aim of this thesis is to find out the role of group learning activities in the context of the training of future teachers. General framework for reaseach is prehension of group learning activities as an instructional strategies which can be used at university courses and especially in the training of future teachers. Great emphasis is placed on description and analysis of forms of teaching used in the training of future teachers and its potential for using group learning activities. The attention is paid to group work at university and description of different conceptions using work in groups. There is also a brief description of technology of group work which is basis for research. The practical part contains a case study of conception of training for the future teachers at Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague. This case study includes lesson observation of specific courses and interview with student teachers and teachers of these courses.
The meaning of student teaching practice for entering the teaching profession

The aim of the presented work is to map the issue of pedagogical practice regarding its importance in the decision-making of future teachers about entering or not entering the profession, evaluate its benefits for students and outline possible changes in undergraduate teacher training. The presented text contains two main parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part consists of chapters dealing with the training of future teachers. The first chapter defines the key concepts in the field. The second chapter follows the general characteristics of pedagogical practice as an integral part of the study of teaching. The core of the text then consists of a passage, the content of which is specifically focused on the description of the special importance of the training of future teachers. The design of the research survey in the practical part is based on a qualitative methodology, primarily the use of the method of explanatory case study. Data collection is realized through semi-structured interviews with individual students, where a large amount of data is collected from a few respondents. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of so-called burnout syndrome. The work directly focuses on the knowledge of the students of the Faculty of Science on the issue of he burnout syndrome. The theoretical part provides an overview of the burnout syndrome and its symptoms, phases, and development. It also deals with disease prevention and a syndrome treatment. The practical part consists of quantitative research which tries to get through the issue of the burnout syndrome and to investigate the awareness of students of the Faculty of Education in the fields of teacher training for kindergartens, primary school teachers and teachers for the second level of primary school and secondary school teachers about the topic.

Key memories of teacher profession students for their primary school

This thesis deals with the concept of teaching for students teaching in primary schools. Students who begin studying and are influenced by subjective experiences from the days when they were themselves pupils in primary school. Objective of this research is the context characterized by the testimony of students. Determine whether they have a tendency to imitating patterns from elementary school, or avoid mistakes that they saw in them. The theoretical part is intertwined with the research. Testimonies of students are supplemented by findings from the literature. One section is devoted to defining the long-term memory and one part belongs to two terms. Stress and evaluation, they often repeat, thus have increased influence on memories. Thesis also describes how the student teacher is ready for the beginning of his career and with it related requirements, which must be fulfilled for graduation. In the second part, the focus shifts to the teaching styles of teachers and recommendation, which the teacher should follow. Research together with the support of the literature shows that teacher has a great influence on pupils.
Faculty school and its role in teacher training

In the theoretical part of the thesis I am going to focus on the theoretical problems of teaching practice at universities and its role in the preparation of future teachers. In the practical part I will use questionnaires and interviews to seek features of a good faculty school, and try to specify areas that demand more support to faculty schools from the Faculty of Education. Diagnosis of preconcepts For Didactics of Students of Teaching And Perception of Those Concepts By Primary School Teachers

This diploma work raises the issues of preconcepts for didactics of students of teaching, deals with the perception of those concepts by primary school teachers, and subsequently with their diagnosis . The aim of this work is to find out to what extent the perception of some chosen didactic concepts are connected comparing students of pedagogical faculty and experienced primary school teachers. The theoretical part aims to define the concepts involved in the research and concerns with constructivists didactics. In the practical part the data relating to preconcepts were found and processed by method of semantic differential.
