Leisure centre Vyškov

Leisure center The main task of the master thesis is to design a new leisure center in Vyškov. The building is divided into the two parts. The main part has two floors with reception, entrance hall, classrooms, offices, a utility and boiler room, a dance or theatre hall, a changing room, and a toilet. The second part includes sports hall. The load-bearing walls are designed from Porotherm ceramic blocks with external thermal insulation composite system. Floor structure are designed from reinforced concrete. The main building has a flat roof, the sports has a saw roof structure. Envelope walls are insulated with ETICS. The building will be heated by a condensing boiler. It will have mechanical ventilation, integrated photovoltaic panels on the roof of sports hall to reduce electricity consumption and LED lighting. The theoretical part is to design an operating rule of the building. The operating rules are part of the facility management, which takes care of ensuring ideal conditions for the development of the main activities of the leisure center.
Diagnosis of defects of an existing object

This bachelor thesis deals with structural and technical research of the Lužánky Leisure Time Activity Centre, a civic amenity building situated in Brno, 50 Lidická Street. A building diagnosis was carried out due to a number of static defects spreading fast all over the structure. The first part of the thesis describes the history of the surrounding Lužánky Park. Furthermore, the history of the city’s watercourses and the related issue of clay soil are also discussed. The practical part focuses on the diagnostics of the building together with its current state. After the theoretical assessment, short-term as well as long-term maintenance measures are proposed.
Free Time Centre for Youth and Childern in Havířov

Dissertation is project of four-floor free-time center with basement, situated in Havířov-Město. Building is used for art lessons, drama class, ceramic class and natural science class. In basement are situated four parking places, utility room, mechanical room, boiler room, furniture storage room, workshop with sanitary facilities for maintenance man and bicycle room. In ground floor is situated administrative facility of building- headmaster’s office, headmaster’s assistant’s office, guidance counsellor’s office, conference room and kitchen. Then there are sanitary facilities for employees and visitors, reception and waiting room for children and parents. In first floor are classrooms for art and ceramic lessons with storage room, sanitary facilities and office for teachers. Second floor consists of halls for drama classes with storage rooms, office for teachers, dressing rooms and sanitary facilities. In third floor are classrooms for natural science lessons, storage rooms, office for teachers and terrace. Floors are connected through two stairways, one with three stair flights and elevator, second with two stair flights. Building has flat roof. Project was completed using ArchiCAD software. The emphasis was put on correct disposition and architectural resolution and safe using of building.
Podpora rozvoje polytechnického vzdělávání v Jihomoravském kraji: případová studie SVČ Lužánky

ŠIMKOVÁ, K. Supporting the development of polytechnic education in the South Moravian Region: a case study of SVČ Lužánky. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The thesis deals with polytechnic education in leisure centres in the South Moravian Region. The interest in craft professions is still decreasing and one potential approach to the solution is to strengthen the attractiveness of leisure activities focused on polytechnics. The main objective of the thesis is to present the possibilities of development of polytechnic education through the activities of a selected leisure facility SVČ Lužánky, where the South Moravian Region is the founder. The theoretical part contains the main definition of the concept of polytechnic education and its anchoring in strategic documents at the national and regional level. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of the questionnaire survey and interviews with representatives of the selected institutions. Subsequently, recommendations and suggestions for other leisure centres on how to promote polytechnic education effectively are formulated.
Factors Affecting the Profesion Development of the Head of DDM and SVČ in the Pardubice region

This thesis deals with a topic that factors influencing the professional development of school principals. Its aim is to determine the quantitative and qualitative research which factors and to what extent the professional development of directors house of children and youth and leisure centers (the DDM and SVČ) in the Pardubice region influence. The core issue is the continuing education of directors DDM and SVČ, whether in their professional development in further education. The thesis also includes a six-year term of office, which can have a significant impact on the professional development of directors of DDM and SVČ. Research suggests that the Director of SVC and DDM most important factor that affects their professional development, continuing education. The research results are used in the field of school management and management education as an extension of knowledge about the work of the directors of DDM and SVČ and their professional development, which is negatively and positively influenced by various factors. Innovations in the management of non-formal education

This final thesis deals with innovations in the management of informal education. The main objective is to highlight the importance of innovations in informal and leisure education, and bring inspiration to the managers of informal and leisure education in the form of examples of good practice. In the theoretical part informal and interest education is incorporated into the overall educational system of the Czech Republic and its development is illustrated on the laws and decrees from 1948 to present. The research in the form of structured interview with respondents revealed their view on innovations in leisure education and showed their experience with the introduction of innovations in their own organizations. The process and the conclusions of structured interviews clearly highlighted the need for innovation in informal and leisure education for the competitiveness of informal education organizations. The executives of school facilities for leisure education as well as organizations of informal education can hereby find inspiration for each specific innovation in the examples of good practice.
Strategic management in the organizations of leisure activities education

The diploma thesis deals with the problems of strategic management in the organizations of leisure activities education. It is based on present theoretical knowledge from this field and also its application in organizations. Besides general facts, it presents system of steps necessary for their application of effective management and development of non-profit organization with a view of long-term sustainability. The thesis brings detected results analysis from questionnaire survey about present condition of strategic management in focused organizations and also preview of its possible ways of further efficiency increase in the condition of these school facilities. It offers material to the organizations which want to find journey of change and inspiration for those who want to find further possibilities. Innovations in the management of non-formal education

This final thesis deals with innovations in the management of informal education. The main goal of this work is to determine the extent to which the executives of leisure education organizations recognize the need for innovations in different areas of the organization, to compare the extent and content of specific innovations in selected organizations and explore in which areas and based on which stimuli the innovations in these organizations arise. The obtained information is useful for efficient preparation of further training of organization executives and described examples of good practice as an inspiration to improve the performance of leisure and informal education organizations. The theoretical part incorporates leisure and informal education into the overall education system of the Czech Republic and its development is illustrated on the laws and decrees from 1948 to present. Research in the form of structured interview reveals the respondents view on innovations in leisure education and shows the respondents experience with the introduction of innovations in their own organizations. The conclusions of this research clearly show the need for innovation in informal and leisure education for the competitiveness of individual organizations.
