Modern trends in banking with a focus on communication and distribution channels

This thesis deals with the modern communication and distribution channels in banking. The aim is to show particular possibilities and limits of the selected distribution channels, to find the potential and to estimate the development of these channels in the future. Another aim is to provide banks with the knowledge in this segment to keep in order to be able to compete or at least to gain an initial competitive advantage.
Perception of advertisement on social network Facebook

This thesis is focused on advertising on social network Facebook. The aim of this thesis is to explore how Facebook users perceive different types of ads that appear on Facebook and to make comparisons in relation to advertising elsewhere on the Internet. In the first part of this thesis, different types of Internet advertising and social networks are characterized. Further there are described possible kinds of advertising on Facebook which appear on this social network and equivalents of the Internet advertising are assigned to them. The second part is devoted to the preparation of the questionnaire and subsequent evaluation and presentation of results. The benefit of this work is to determine how users perceive advertising on Facebook in comparison with the advertising elsewhere on the Internet. The aim is also to obtain user preferences for particular types of advertising both on Facebook and on the Internet. Based on the results of the preferences, a recommendation of what types of advertising should be used due to their positive perception of the user is given.
Possible uses of social networks for business support

The primary goal and the main purpose of this paper is to create comprehensive guide to practical use of social networks for business support. Firstly, the reader is acquainted with the definition and history of social networking, then different usages of them is presented. In the next section, focused on Facebook, the reader learns the basic rules for communica-tion on social networks and how to build a fan base. In the practical part, I describe my own work on managing social profiles and I present my personal experiences from my effort to build a good fan base on Facebook page. As a metric indiciating the success of my efforts, I chose values "reach" and "engaged users" used by Facebook itself.
The possibilities of usage of social networks for the support of entrepreneurship

The subject of the Bachelor's thesis is "The possibilities of usage of social networks for the support of entrepreneurship". This research introduces characteristics of various types of social networks from the viewpoint of their usage in order to increase the competitiveness of organizations. The aim is to analyze the current situation, possibilities and conditions of usage of the social networks in the Czech Republic. The study is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part concentrates on the introduction of various types of social networks. In addition, it also includes the history, development and possibilities of usage of the social networks in practice. In the practical part of this work the current situa-tion of Zentity s.r.o. is analyzed concerning the social networks in comparison with its main competitors in the industry. This thesis is beneficial by its comparison of usage of social networks of Zentity s.r.o. against its competitors and by suggestions of more effective presentation of the firm on the social networks.
The possibilities of using social networks in company

Social networks are on the rise. They are used by businesses of all sizes and across industries. But they are really the way to increase employee productivity, increase sales and overall interest in the company? Or is it just a fashion trend? Possibilities of using social networking as a tool to support business are widely debated. This paper is a summary of objective and subjective views and experiences with the use of social networking in the company. Author acquaints readers with the possibilities of using social networks for internal communication. It places emphasis on practical experience and concepts of various public social networks, and compares them with private social networks. It then discusses the possibilities of using social networks for external communication and marketing presentation, again with emphasis on the real usability and concept of each individual network. The paper also listed the most recent studies and surveys that show the importance and development of social networks in the 21st century. The aim is to form a comprehensive overview of the utilization of social networking in a company with a focus on internal communication and communication with the surrounding businesses.

The paper summarizes current options of free search engine optimization for websites. Structured into on page and off page factors, they are assessed by their importance for search engine rankings. Outdated factors a contradicted and replace new, modern ones. Most of the practices mentioned in the theoretical part are applied to website of student parties' organization. The aim of this paper is not only to map current practices, but with their help to achieve better search engine results for the mentioned website and to increase the number of visitors on organized parties.
Social networks in terms of HR

The thesis is focused on social networks and their influence on HR in organizations during the process of choosing new employees. The thesis is divided in two parts: Theoretical part contains history of the social networks and explanation of related theories, description of labour market and analysis of job boards and social networks in relation to HR. Practical part (research) is focused on analysis of interviews, answer sheets etc. The aim is to research, if the social networks could replace job boards as jobs.cz, prace.cz etc. Next aim of the thesis is to compare the form - how the companies offer new/vacant jobs on internet. Another focus is to discover how the HR specialists evaluate the use of social networks to help the recruitment of new employees and what their experience with this way of recruiting is.
Využití sociálních sítí v Competitive Intelligence

This thesis focuses on the area of competitive intelligence with the emphasis on new possibilities and opportunities in relation to modern social networks. First it gives general analysis of the current state of competitive intelligence market as a whole and then deals with individual major leaders and their products, thus providing detailed overview of this business segment. It also discusses the possibilities of using social networks and other social or soft sources for competitive intelligence. Practical part of the thesis then demonstrates the theoretical knowledge on a real life CI project, which took place in early 2012 in cooperation with experts from IBM, including some interesting results and findings in appendix. The whole chapter can be used as a reference model for future projects with similar goals.
Usage of the Internet Marketing and Social Networks used for an Internet Shop Support

The thesis is about internet marketing tools and their possible usage, shown on exact example from internet shop Minibike-shop.cz. The thesis is divided in three logical parts, which are built on each other. There are theoretically described tools in the first part, which can be used for an online promotion of the shop. The individual tools describe their advantages and possibilities of usage, which can result in improvement of business competitiveness. The fourth chapter of the thesis is completely devoted to social networks in Czech Republic and possibilities, which are offered by these networks to businesses. One of the chapters of the theoretical part of the thesis is a chapter devoted to indicators, which will help us measuring company's marketing success. Second part of the thesis is focused on a chosen shop analysis and its competitors according to the theoretical assumptions set up in first part of the thesis. Web pages audit of the individual shops is completed on the top of that, resulting in showing lack of their qualities. Third part of the thesis is devoted to a strategy proposal, which is based on shortages found out in the analyst part. Aim of the strategy is to eliminate detected mistakes and also gain competitive advantage. The thesis is ended by conclusion, which is devoted to the thesis summary and evaluation of the set goals. The main benefit of the thesis is the competitive analysis completed for the internet shop Minibike-shop.cz. and the proposed strategy on company's marketing growth. The strategy will manage to increase an amount of visitors and their satisfaction, resulting in an increase of the company's profit.
The influence of social networks on the Czechs and Vietnameses in the Czech Republic.

The bachelor's work deals with an analysis a an influence of social networks, especially about Facebook on Czechs and Vietnameses in the Czech Republic. It discovers to what extent and which way Facebook influences their lives whether the positive way or negative one. The research is performed individually on Vietnamese and Czechs while the results of research are compared to each other and find out whether there are differencies in results between theses two nations. This work consists of three main parts; theoretical part, methodical part and practical part. The theoretical part contains information referring to social topics, and Facebook and altogether with other related topics. The research is performed by a method of questioning with questionaries. The source for gaining results was primarily for Facebook while the 'Event' was made for it. Another source was school informative system 'ISIS', a forum of discussion 'warforum.cz', and also friends and acquaintances. Ten hypotheses were demonstrated, many of them were confirmed.
