Comparing the Accuracy of Methods for Determining the Price of an Unfinished Construction of a Kindergarten
Kopečková, Martina ; Doležalová, Monika (referee) ; Kosová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis deals with the comparison of the accuracy of methods used for valuation of the construction of the kindergarten. The theoretical part defines basic terms used in thesis and those related to the topic. Individual methods used for appraisal under construction are presented and described. In practical part, selected methods are applied to a concrete example of partially costructed Kamechy kindergarten in two phases of building process. In order to determine whether price differences among different valuation methods change over time, an appraisal is performed for two different price levels - for years 2014 and 2018. Based on comparison, analysis and evaluation of partial and overall results of the evaluation, accuracy of all appraisal methods used for valuation of partially constructed kindergarten are calculated and determined.
Cost of variant solutions of houses
Sokol, Patrik ; Roudná, Veronika (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the problems surrounding costing variants of building constructions, as well as creating an itemized budget for a single house in civil engineering. The first part of the thesis focuses on theory divided into two sections. The first section looks into the pricing in the civil engineering sector, the second contains explanations of technical terms related to the thesis. The second part of the thesis focuses on practical solutions to the researched topic of creating an itemized budget for a new building. Costing variants of projected buildings are proposed while meeting the projected thermal insulation parameters. New itemized budgets are created on the basis of chosen costing variants evaluating their price and how time demanding they are. Itemized budgets are used to create price indicators of a built-up area, a usable area, a living area, and an enclosed area.
The price of the construction for ensuring the safety of residents
Bartal, Jakub ; Prak, Michal (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
This diploma thesis will address the issue of civil protection objects. The first part is devoted to acquainting with the terminology related to the prices in construction, population protection, civil protection objects and evacuation of the population. The second part is devoted to determining the price for specific civil protection objects. Here are the budgets for different types of shelters. The resulting prices will be compiled for price indices, which will allow a quick revaluation of an object of this type. The functionality of these indicators will be verified by compiling an additional budget for civil protection shelter. The different types of shelters are compared to each other. Minimum maintenance costs for these shelters will be determined, as well as options for the use of civil protection facilities at peace.

Application of technical analysis on algorithmic trading
Šíla, Jan ; Krištoufek, Ladislav (advisor) ; Křehlík, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis takes on the question of profitability of algorithmic trading based on trend and momentum indicators and examines whether or not it is possible to acquire systematic profits. It reviews the development of relevant literature over the last 100 years to determine whether the inner workings of the market can be quantified and plausibly modelled. On three major U.S. stock indices are then tested several different strategies to determine whether in the long- term, passive investment can be outperformed by active trading. Merit of the work lies in backtesting several strategies and interpreting the results according to unique characteristics of the indices.
