Factors affecting performance of teaching staff of secondary schools in Pribram

This diploma thesis describes and analyses the factors influences the working performance. It deals with the basic terms from the management area about the working performance. Mainly the terms work performance, work efficiency, working performance management are described, also the factors influencing the working efficiency are described. It clarifies the difference between the personal assumptions for the working performance relating directly with the worker and external factors, which cannot be influenced by the worker. Thesis is closely aimed at the process and setting which emerges from the organisation running. These factors are verified by the research done at the secondary school in Pribram. The research is executed by quantitative method with the usage of questionnaires. These questionnaires were drawn up that it enabled to compare with the analysis of current definitions of the working performance and working productivity. In the implementation of the research were compared the influences of the individual groups of factors which influence the pedagogical workers' working productivity on the secondary high schools in Pribram. The analysis of the current definitions dealing with the working performance and productivity were confirmed.
Applying coaching practice management kindergartens under one founder

This thesis is devoted to coaching, which is a relatively new trend in the field of people leadership, explaining what the experiences with this tool of development are in the current practice in kindergartens management. The theoretical part summarizes the findings from the literature depicting the topic of coaching in different contexts - dealing with the issue of human resource management and changes in manager's approach to the performance management. The practical part presents results of a questionnaire-based research for a broader look at the issue and the results of the qualitative approach implemented through structured interviews, life-history method and document analysis. This thesis introduces us to the areas in which the coaching method was successful in employee's development in a professional or personal level, as well as in development of the director, the whole team and the organization. Performance system of employees in a financial institution

This master thesis discusses employees appraisal in a selected organization. The theoretical part is devoted to expressions from the area of staff appraisal. Topics such as performance management, performance appraisal and work performance are clarified. Further the common process of employees appraisal is described, including its meaning and functionality. appraisal criteria are specified and selected appraisal metods are described. A specific chapter is devoted to forced distribution method. In the end of this part characteristics of high quality and effective employees appraisal are listed. In the empirical part a specific organization is presented, including description and analysis of used employees appraisal system. The goal of the research is through the analysis of the employees appraisal system and with the help of interviews with its employees determine the characteristics of a quality employees appraisal system. Based on the results of the conducted research recommendations leading to higher efectivity of employees appraisal are formed. The dissertation deals with the issue of guest workers in the home with special regime. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with human resource management, as described in the literature. The essential question is to link a system of evaluation in the Organization, with the achievement of mission and objectives of the organization. The work focuses on the links between performance management and evaluation of staff. Further focuses on the evaluation criteria, the various forms and the methods of evaluation, and also on the assumptions and the skills of the evaluator, but also the assumptions of investigational agents, their ability to reflect on their work and the ability of self assessment. In the practical part of the thesis I introduce the organization, in which it is carried out of the investigation. This thesis offers an overview of Personal Employee Development Planning focusing on its objectives and perspectives in current practice. Attention is paid to the employees' personal development in organization, relation between work performance management and personal development planning, main trends in the preparation of plans and the tools and methods used in the creation and realization of development plans. The thesis explores the benefits of personal employee development planning for the organization, and for professional and personal life of employee. The work is focused on defining the areas of the organization's approach to personal employee development, competencies and learning. It analyzes the process of creating personal development plans. The work contains a qualitative analysis of the results of survey conducted in eighteen organizations in the Czech Republic, focused on the use of personal development plans in practice. This bachelor thesis deals with the system of performance appraisal and its implementation to practice. A good performance appraisal system is one of the key requirements for effective human resources management. It provides its company with information about the employees performance, their work potential and development needs. A performance appraisal can be a tool of fair reward based on each employee's performance. However, all the above mentioned requires meeting one basic condition, i. e., conducting appraisals is a duty of all managers being fully supported by the company's HR department. This bachelor thesis provides information that could be used while implementing the performance appraisal system in any company. It deals with the relation between the performance appraisal and work performance management, with the appraisal objectives that determine the direction of the appraisal concept and performance appraisal criteria. Appraisal of security forces officers is linked to differences between state service, and employment. This bachelor's thesis presents compact overview of appraisal of Czech police officers and Czech fire brigade officers. By comparison of appraisal systems these two law-enforcement agencies, there can be determined fundamental similarities and differences. 6 Abstract This thesis aims to offer a comprehensive view of corporate communication while emphasizing its importance for everyday life of corporations and achievement of their strategic targets. The thesis introduces potential interpretations of corporate communication with the main focus on key moments of corporate communication as well as on consequences non-effective communication has on employee satisfaction and their life in the corporation. In the thesis I opted for the method of compilation and comparison of professional literature along with expert interviews which reveal the quality of internal communication in two selected corporations and prove one-sided view of communication inside corporations. The first part of the thesis provides a detailed look at characteristics of individual communication forms, knowledge of these characteristics being the cornerstone of further research in corporate communication. Besides, this part also describes the principles of active listening, a skill which is frequently omitted from the communication skill list. The main objective of the thesis was to define and analyze key aspects of managerial work in multicultural environment, in one of the Shared Services Center department, of multinational company based in Prague, Czech Republic. Further thesis aimed to define essential competencies of the successful manager and leader driving performance of multicultural department and provides recommendations to improve managerial performance in key aspects of manager s work such as communication, motivation, performance management and cross-cultural leadership. It is argued that presence of intercultural interactions between managers and their subordinates, impacts effectiveness of the managerial performance. Thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. First part of the thesis explores theoretical concepts regarding culture, communication, motivation and leadership with respect to multicultural environment specifics. In the second part, used research methods, conducted research analysis and outcomes are presented. Further in practical part recommendation towards analyzed aspects of managerial work that would lead to higher overall department performance are defined.
