Jůzová, Jana ; Papík, Richard (advisor) ; Šlerka, Josef (referee)
Diploma thesis The Right to be Forgotten on the Internet applies to the functions of Internet search engines, search algorithms and the impact of the digital footprint that on the Internet user essentially leaves. With this issue is, on the one hand, inseparably linked the protection of personal data in the online environment, on the other hand the constitutionally enshrined right to information and other fundamental rights. Not ignored should be also the risk of censorship of the Internet. An application of the right to be forgotten adds a whole new dimension to this problems. The right to be forgotten is inferred from the judgment of the European Court of Justice on 13 May 2014 in the case Costeja versus Google Spain, where an Internet user named Mario Costeja Gonzáles first succeeded with a request of removal of unflattering information about himself from results of the search engine Google. Dombrovská, M. Informační vzdělávání v České republice (Information Education in the Czech Republic). Praha: Univerzita Karlova, Filozofická fakulta, Ústav informačních studií a knihovnictví, 2017. Disertační práce. Vedoucí disertační práce doc. PhDr. Rudolf Vlasák. Abstract This doctoral thesis investigates information science, public policy, and law, via established system theory, to uncover how information education, and particularly information literacy, can be better developed in the Czech Republic. The theoretical focus is on concepts of information literacy, information education, and information competencies. This is complemented with case studies, investigating existing policies through grounded theory. The novel contributions to knowledge arising from this research are: (1) a new three-wave staged model of the evolution of literacies; (2) a promising methodology for creating and implementing effective literacy policies respecting these three waves; (3) three specific proposals, grounded in constitutional rights and obligations, for overcoming the lack of political and public interest in further developing information literacy at a national level. Keywords: literacy, information literacy, information education, access to information, human rights, citizens' rights and duties

Paleček, Jiří ; Vejmělek, Jan (advisor) ; Šíma, Ondřej (referee)
The work focuses on the history and development of the foreign exchange market, and consequently the overall characteristics of the foreign exchange market. Then this work compares retail and wholesale foreign exchange market. In examining the volume and structure of the turnover on the foreign exchange market. Access to the information of individual entities, where wholesale participants have a huge benefit because of the many advantages, mainly financial benefits. Determining whether the market is centralized or decentralized, it depends on the subject, retail market is decentralized and wholesale is centralized. It was also examined the behavior of the marginal individual entities, there are large differences between small and large entities. And that's also true for their influence, but to this I came up with Noise Trader theory, which shows that the situation can be reversed and retail traders streamlines the market. The work points out that problem when retail market penetrate on the wholesale market. And finally, the work offers insights into the problem of the missing middle market, or a stronger segmentation of market. The last point is the nightly news, and how individuals respond to them.
