Design of Oscillating Spindle Sander
Jun, Michal ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a design of tabletop oscilating spindle sander. The main goal is to design a tool, which will be robust and reliable and at the same time esthetically interesting. The sander will allow its user to have all the accessories straight on the sander. The thesis is based on an analysis of the current market considering needs of target group. Ergonomic and technical requirements are taken into account too. The final product is intended for home use and commercial use as well.
Nonlinear Piezoelectric Vibration Energy Harvesting Device
Fiala, Jan ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and analysis of piezoelectric beam with added non-linear stiffness. The nonlinear stiffness is realized using a permanent magnet and a iron block. Thesis is focused mainly on the analysis of the behaviour of the beam without added electrical load.
Animation of the stress-strain behaviour of helical springs
Gabriel, Tomáš ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Hartl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to the creation of educational animations depicting issues with the design of helical springs. Thesis contains collection of the necessary materials, describes the animating process and presents the final results. Main topics of the work are the stress across a cross-section of a loaded spring, fatigue and natural frequency of an oscillating spring.
Design of Data Acquisition Equipment IMC Fastening System in the Car
Černý, Martin ; Jeník, Radomír (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
Devices for measuring the dynamic load and vibration of certain parts of the bodywork or parts of other parts of the vehicle are made using accelerometers and measuring instruments IMC. It must be simply installed into the interior of the vehicle so that it is not necessary to remove any parts of the interior and to avoid damage to all parts of the interior. The preparation must also withstand the considerable dynamic load generated by the harder operation tests.
Epicyclic oscillations of thick relativistic disks
Horák, Jiří ; Straub, O. ; Šrámková, E. ; Goluchová, K. ; Török, G.
We study epicyclic oscillations of thick relativistic tori with constant specific angular momentum distribution using the finite element numerical method. We have compared frequencies of the axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric modes with the analytic formulae obtained by Straub and Šrámková (2009) and Fragile et al. (2016). We have found excellent agreement in the case of axisymmetric radial epicyclic modes. In the case of the axisymmetric vertical epicyclic modes and non-axisymmetric modes in general, the analytic approximation agrees with numerical results only for tori of moderate thicknesses. Our analysis also revealed an instability of the thick constant angular momentum tori with respect to the radial epicyclic oscillation.
Linearity of light yield in JUNO neutrino experiment
Tměj, Tomáš ; Vorobel, Vít (advisor) ; Krtička, Milan (referee)
The aim of the work is measurement of linearity of liquid scintillator light yield. Knowledge of deviation from the light yield linearity is essential for interpretation of the data measured in the neutrino experiment JUNO. The method is based on use of Compton scattering in the tested scintillator and on precise spectroscopy of the scattered gamma radiation.
Oscillation and wave experiments for Practical Course in School Experiments I
Řehůřek, Michal ; Mandíková, Dana (advisor) ; Koudelková, Věra (referee)
In our thesis we focused on demonstrational-experiment-projections and instructions for mechanical oscillations, waves and acoustics. Nevertheless, we did not marginalize other types of tasks linked to experiments. As a starting point of our thesis we used a search of our topic carried out on textbooks for elementary and high schools. This search forms a part of introduction of our thesis. We carried out a considerable part of presented experiments personally during lessons with our students and distilled new experience into the final guidelines of presented experiments. Attachment plays a significant part of the thesis, above all video records of experiments and woorksheets for students. Experiments, with instructions included, update and supplement the subject Practical Course in School Experiments I, which forms part of the compulsory professional preparation of physics teachers at MFF UK. The experiments might therefore serve as an inspiration both for current and future physics teachers. They are synoptically presented in an online Collection of Physics Experiments (fyzikalnipokusy.cz/en).
Thixotropy test of semisolid preparations
Tenorová, Klára ; Šnejdrová, Eva (advisor) ; Drastík, Martin (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove Department of Pharmaceutical technology Name: Klára Tenorová Title of diploma thesis: Thixotropy test of semisolid preparations Supervisor: PharmDr. Eva Snejdrova, Ph.D. This thesis deals with the study of thixotropic properties of selected semi-solid preparations such as Vaselinum album, Adep lanae, Adeps lanae cum aqua, Alcoholis cetylici unguentum and Alcoholis cetylici cremor. The theoretical part deals with characterization of semi-solid preparations and ointment bases, rheology, rheometry and description of the tests used in the measurement. The experimental part deals with the description of viscosity curves and with the measurement of time dependency of flow behaviour by thixotropic test. Model semi-solid samples show only partial recovery, i.e. false thixotropy. The highest recovery of the structure was shown by Adeps lanae, 83 % at 25 řC and 79 % at 32 řC. The flow behaviour are changed by incorporation of the water depending on the character of the semisolid preparation. At 25 ř C, the viscosity recovery rate was lower than at 32 ř C for all samples except Adeps lanae. After the emulsification of 25% water to Adeps lanae, the recovery rate at both temperatures was significantly reduced, which means that lanolin is slower to recover...
Pendulum excitation
Vrána, Jiří ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on creating a model situation of excited pendulum with one degree of freedom that oscillates in both linear and nonlinear condition. The theoretical part describes several basic concepts of oscillation theory and states some examples of pendulum applicability. The practical part consists assembling of motion equations of model situations, based on which simulations programs are created. The thesis contains also concept of practical use of the nonlinear pendulum model.
Radical Experience and Thinking of Poetic Inspiration. The Body (without Organs) in Maurice Blanchot's Space of Literature.
Poch, Martin ; Ševčík, Miloš (advisor) ; Jarošová, Helena (referee)
Radical Thinking and Experience of Poetic Inspiration → Abstract Blanchot's radical thinking of writer's experience poses, but do not answer a question of its physical dimension. According to Blanchot, it seems as if the writer's experience was completely unbodied, so that it excludes the possibility of writing and realization of essential speech in the world. Our interpretation of Blanchot's key concepts proceeds with an attempt to solve this problem and present its main consequences. In the last section we operate some of the terms of Deleuze and Guattari - namely becoming, the body without organs - in order to conceive writer's experience as inherently differentiated process in which the body is absent, because - deprived of its organs - it becomes an imperceptible part of assemblage which enters the space of literature.
