Guidelines for accepting gifts in czech nonprofit organizations of climate movement

The thesis deals with the boundaries for accepting donations in the Czech non-profit organizations of the climate movement. Czech leaders, unlike the European ones, are rather inattentive to the climate crisis. In recent years this is reflected in immergence of new organizations which creates pressure to address this situation. In order for organizations to advance their agenda, they need a network of donors to support them. The aim of this thesis is to understand what values and practices in these organizations regulate the acceptance of gifts, as well as to understand the motivations of their approach in specific situations.
Confidence in Nonprofit Organizations

The diploma thesis is focused on Visegrad Group citizens' trust in nonprofit organizations. Public trust in nonprofit organization is crucial for functioning of nonprofit organizations in society and for their societal status. The diploma thesis discusses trust in postcommunist countries which is generally considered weak due to their past. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to find out if diffences in trust in nonprofit organization of V4 countries citizens exist with regard to educatiion and age of citizens. The first and also thereotical part of the thesis consists of theoretical concepts of civil society, nonprofit organization and relevant types of trust. Empirical part of the thesis consists of methodology, analytical steps, intepretation, results and conclusion. In order to test the two hypotheses based on expected relation between trust in nonprofit organization, age and education the ordinal regression was used as a research method which led to a discovery of statistically significant relation between variables. Collections and their efectiveness

This thesis deals with the current state of donorship in the Czech Republic. It is primarily focused on comparing different forms of collections and opportunities which are enabled by online fundraising. Quantitative research deals with attitudes that donors have towards collections and fundraising. The work shows which forms of collection are the most acceptable for donors. The research is aimed at their trust in the effective use of the financial contribution by nonprofit organization.
The impact of behavioral economics on email fundraising of non profit organization Greenpeace ČR

The aim of this work is to bring new knowledge in the field of behavioral economics and to explore the influence of selected behavioral concepts on fundraising campaigns conducted through e-mail. The thesis first introduces the key aspects of behavioral economics, explains its development throughout history and defines selected behavioral concepts. Then the thesis describes fundraising and its use in nonprofit organizations. The second part of the thesis introduces the case study, which dealt with the application of selected behavioral studies concepts to the e-mailing campaign led by the non-profit organization Greenpeace Czech Republic. The empirical part presents a description of this experiment and an analysis of the results, which revealed that the usage of selected behavioral concepts may be counterproductive under certain conditions.
Financing of the biathlon and skiing club

Title: Financing of the biathlon and skiing club Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify financial resources which are used to fund the activities of the club, and to find particular failures of their funding. Afterwards is the aim to create recommendation to improve their funding. Methods: The main method used in this thesis is qualitative method, specifically interviews with employee of office of Prague 5 and with delegate from the club. The descriptive analysis of detected data was used too. Results: From the interview with the delegate of the club and the analysis of data I realized that the club is not using sponsorship to fund their activities. The club is also not using the grant from Prague 2. It was recommended to the club to ask for the grant from Prague 2 and a sponsorship packet was created to help the club to get a sponsor. Development of IS for student organization

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the existing database and its development for future use. The database belongs to an information system called BuddyIS, which is used by the student non-profit organization ESN VŠE Praha - Buddy System. The aim of the thesis is to consolidate the existing database structure, which can be achieved by refactoring and design of new elements. This thesis is based on the knowledge of the organization´s processes, which the author gained through her activity in the organization. Current requirements are inferred from consultations with the members of the organization. The benefit of the thesis is the basis for further development of the whole information system and further documentation that will serve the next generation of organization members.

The communication Strategy of Nonprofit Organization Movember Foundation in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis Communication Strategy of Nonprofit Organization Movember Foundation in the Czech Republic presents international nonprofit organization which focuses on men's health. The first part of thesis focuses on history of the organization and its missions. The thesis continues with a chapter in which is explained the role of marketing in nonprofit organizations then marketing goals in the organization are defined. The next part of the thesis is concentrated on communication strategy of the organization in the Czech Republic. This part also analyzes who are target audiences and defines competitors among other nonprofit organizations within the same area of interest. Furthermore this chapter presents communication activities in two time periods: 2009- 2012 and 2013-2015 and analyses them. The next part concerns author's own research, which will reveal awareness of the organization in the Czech Republic. Moreover research will show if Czechs consider the organization as trustworthy institution or not. In addition to that, research will disclose if the organization was successful in terms of increasing the awareness of male's cancer during the 7- year-period of its presence in the Czech Republic. Image of NGOs'working within roma communities

This Bachelor thesis deals with the media image on non-profit organizations operating within the Roma communities. The examined articles come from four Czech news portals Aktuálně.cz, Deník.cz, iDNES.cz and Novinky.cz, the examined period is January - July 2013. The theoretical part outlines selected concepts of media theory, which are later used for media content analysis: gatekeeping, news values, agenda setting, framing. There is also theoretically defined nonprofit sector, its organizations and some of the aspects of current situation which can affect public and media image of non-profit organizations. The theoretical part continues with description of social exclusion aspect within the Roma community and shows that it's strongly embed in history. Later there are information about the concept called New(s) Racism and about characteristics of minorities' media image, which is also applicable on media image of the Roma people in the Czech Republic.
