Motivation and remuneration of employees in a medium-sized company-mas

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the state of remuneration of employees, the way of their motivation and suggest a possible change of the system based on the found results. The aim of the first, theoretical part is the synthesis of professional publications, the output of which will be a literary overview. The comprehensive view of the issue is set and there are analysed the most important theoretical findings relating to the medium-sized business, motivation, motivation theory, motivation and remuneration, remuneration management and its objectives, rewards and work performance, the structure and form of wages, evaluation of work, the most common forms of wages, employee benefits, MS as an instrument for motivation and remuneration. The course of the research is presented in the practical part and it is carried out in the XY health insurance company. At first, this organization is briefly described and then a self-directed research is conducted through a questionnaire survey of counter staff, client centre managers and project managers / shoppers, the current state of employee remuneration and motivation is analysed.Subsequently, an analysis of the effect of the IMS reward compared with the adoption of IMS and motivation for improvement of client center managers and counter-staff is performed. Thus the data obtained from the questionnaire survey with the data provided by the company on IMS remuneration are compared. Finally, the acquired data are evaluated, suggested recommendations for improvement of the situation and a summary of the work is drawn up.
Motivation in selected organization

This bachelor thesis focused on the identification and evaluation of the motivation system in the organization Primary School and Nursery School of Nová Říše. The aim of this work is to analyse the forms of motivation, motivation and stimulation in selected organization and proposals for improvement of possible shortcomings. The theoretical part contains literary research and there are defined basic terms on the given issue. The Practical part describes the methodological procedure, the research results and the characteristics of the organization in which the questionnaire was conducted. The methods of data collection used were questionnaire surveys, internal documents, observations, and unstructured interviews that served to discuss the individual issues. On the basis of the questionnaire survey, the current state of the motivation system in the organization, the motivation means and the stimulation means was identified. At the end of the work the results were evaluated and on the basis of these results were created suggestions and recommendations for improving the motivation system.

The goal of the thesis is to generally describe the meaning of company culture and introduce the readers to the company culture of Nike. The beginning of the thesis defines the company culture generally, describes the criteria of a strong company culture, determinants of influence, types of company cultures, company identity, company ethics, typology of company cultures, dimensions of national cultures and model approaches. The second part focuses on the characteristics, history, organizational structure of Nike. At the same time from the half of the second part starts the practical part of the thesis. Where communication within the company, company traditions and rituals and community impact are being researched. At the same time the type of culture is going to be determined. As well as style of work, motivation, evaluation of employees, education and dress code are being researched. The third part consists of survey through a depth interview with one of the senior managers of Nike. In analogy with the statements of Nike's employees an analysis is being made where the strength of Nike's company culture is going to be defined and the awareness of company culture of its employees.

Next, I introduce the company and explain how it operates nowadays regarding evaluation and motivation of employees. Finally I propose possible solutions to existing problems.

The contens of my dissertation deal with motivation, assessment and system of rewarding for employees in a choosed firm. The system of rewarding must be setted up to be understanable and fair for employees and so they could be motivated to a better achievement. The aim of this dissertation is in terms of theoretical knowledge that will be delimitated in the first part of this dissertation and consecutive analyse of present situation of a firm in the second part of my dissertation to propose such a system of rewarding that is going to contribute to bigger satisfaction and better job participation of employees and so to raise productivity of a firm.
Analysis of employee satisfaction in the company

The thesis is focused on employee satisfaction. The goal of my work is to analyze employee satisfaction within the chosen organization to determine potential sources of dissatisfaction and suggest possible solutions that can increase job satisfaction of the company's employees. In the theoretical part I define the concept of job satisfaction and factors that have an influence on it. The next section describes the methodological approach and the method of data acquisition and processing procedure. The practical part decribes characteristics of the researched company, followed by an analysis of survey results and possible recommendations.
The view of motivation and evaluation of employees with the use of management accounting information

This thesis deals with the usage of management accounting information for motivation and evaluation of empoyees. The first part describes specifics of small enterprises, advantages and disadvanteges of working in these types of enterprises. Additionally, there is discussed the most famous motivation theories and their application in practice, the methods used for employee compensation and evaluation. Great attention is given to the analysis of the current situation of described areas in the company BlueGhost.cz and assessment of the strengths and weaknesses. The analysis is followed by the second part of this thesis which contains a proposal for possible improvement of motivation and evaluation systems which could do work processes and employee behavior more efficient.

In the following practical part the current state of development, education and motivation of employees at a specific russian travel agency is evaluated and analysed with the help of survey. Analysis of the satisfaction of employees of Prague branch of company XY

This thesis analyses the satisfaction of employees of the Prague branch of company XY. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Job satisfaction is defined in the theoretical part. There are individual definitions of job satisfaction and selected theories dealing with this issue. The practical part is devoted to the presentation of XY, methodological apparatus and the characteristics of the sample of respondents who participated in the research. The processing and interpretation of the empirical data then follows. The work has two parallel goals. The first objective is to analyze the job satisfaction of employees of the Prague branch of XY. Their satisfaction is determined using a questionnaire and on the basis of a proposal of improvement. The second objective is to evaluate measures introduced through interviews with management and employees themselves XY year after the execution of the research. This allows an objective determination of the impact of the research and furthermore how each of the implemented changes contributed to employee job satisfaction.
