Human Factor in Aviation

Diploma work includes summary of aeroplanes accidents, incurred by human factor malfunction in general aviation and in ultralight aeroplanes category on Czech Republic territory since year 2000. It analyses accidents enclosures with a view to discover similarities near particular accidents. From ascertained lockworks ared proposal created for possibly steps, how prevent rise of these accidents. Part of this work are also attachments (formularies, etc.).
Human factor in the aircraft operations

This bachelor´s thesis examines air accidents which is caused by human error. From selected air accidents are pointed out mistakes, which is caused by flight crew, their continuation, increase, main causation and formation air accident. Study of human mistakes and influence phase of flight are shown in diagrams. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis includes possible solving to elimination human error and increasing air traffic safety.
Analysis of aviation accidents caused by incorrect maintenance

This bachelor´s thesis covers the aviation accidents caused by incorrect maintenance. It is especially dedicated to the most common human errors and conditions, that can act as precursors to incidents and accidents. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part summarizes the basic statistics of accidents. The next part analyzes the most common causes of accidents due to bad maintenance and methods, that could be used to reduce them. In the last part, there are selected accidents caused by incorrect maintenance focusing on the reformation leading to safer flights.
Comparison of knowledge of laymen and experts about extraordinary events caused by the elements

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of natural elements. These elements are also associated with extraordinary events that often result in the loss of human life. The work characterizes the basic events that relate to extraordinary events of a natural nature. It defines individual extraordinary events caused by natural disasters, their subsequent resolution by crisis management bodies, the application of relevant laws and marginally mentions the most famous natural disasters in our country and in the world. At the same time, the diploma thesis examines knowledge with the help of a questionnaire survey of lay people and experts, which are subsequently analyzed, interpreted and hypotheses solved using statistical methods.
Evaluation of introduction protection measures - evacuation at crash of nuclear power station Fukushima

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the protective measures, notably the evacuation of the population, its development and progress. To achieve the goal of bachelor's work was determined by the research question: Was the safeguard measures and the subsequent procedure for the evacuation of persons from the evacuation zones sufficient? The theoretical part is focused on the particular issue of nuclear power plants, radiation protection and evacuation. The situation described here, which took place directly on the Fukushima daiichi nuclear power plant Daiichi, from the strike of the earthquake and tsunami, after the gradation events in the individual reactors. The research part is about the development of the evacuation in the evacuation zones and the nuclear power plant. Protective measures are described here, and even the consequences and the situation after the crash to the present. The methodology of this work was the gathering of available information from official foreign sources, legislative documents, but also of the publications of the experts. Processing of the available information and the evaluation of the consequences of the evacuation has brought unpleasant findings. The loss of life, which can make a person look a certain way to reflect over the selection of persons suitable to evacuate. In this work were identified and discussed technical shortcomings of the power plant, the information misconduct in communication of the population and in the last row and misconduct of the human factor. The thesis can be used in the general issue of nuclear power plants and evacuation for study purposes or as an information source in the education, energy or public administration.
Depiction of natural and anthropogenic disasters in contemporary audiovisual environment - (main czech news broadcast ČT, Nova, CNN Prima News)

The bachelor's thesis entitled Depiction of natural and anthropogenic disasters in the contemporary audiovisual environment - (main Czech news broadcast ČT, Nova, CNN Prima News) deals with media segments of main Czech news broadcast dedicated to disasters. The theoretical part includes a definition of catastrophes as events, offers a short historic outlook on the beginnings of their portrayal in audiovisual news media, and covers the main transformations of the role journalists while working on them. It also describes the latest technology, problematic elements in broadcasting and psychological influence of audiovisual news reporting on disasters. The main part of the examination is to analyse the depiction of the floods 2020 in the Czech Republic, Australian bushfires 2019-2020, and hurricane Laura 2020 in the United States of America. These events represent domestic and foreign disasters. The work also offers brief characteristics of selected broadcasts and disasters. The work aims to contextualise chosen problematic, analyse and compare related segments in selected broadcasts. The work uses methodology of content analysis and comparison. It is a case study.
Catastrophe? Events in new connections - inspiration for art creation and art education

This dissertation follows the topic of media and visual communication with relations to art. The theoretical part explains the usage and influence of such medias in the past and present, the communication between people and their visual statements, their psychological effects in connection to the manipulation of the picture. The practial part on the other hand, further explains the precise catastrophical events in the news and their overall effect in connection to personal explenations of said catastrophy. The last, Didaktical part, goes into detail on the transformation of catastrophies and possibility of applicating the medial education into the general creative uprbringing. Readiness of healt care providers to mass disasters

Reception of a large number of the injured to a medical facility as a result of a mass disaster or a catastrophe puts high demands on health care. Such situations can not be dealt with the mere improvisation; it is necessary to create unified organizational procedures defining the composition of medical teams and their activities during the multiple reception of the injured to a medical facility. The theoretical part of this thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of emergency preparedness in healthcare facilities. In the empirical part, I analyzed the readiness of health facilities for a mass disaster in the capital city of Prague. A structured interview with open questions was chosen as a method of data collection. Based on the survey, I concluded that the readiness of health facilities in the capital city of Prague differs. I recommend setting up a phone line while receiving patients as a result of a mass disaster in order to improve the situation in Prague. The sole purpose of such a line would be reporting emergencies. I also recommend health care facilities participate actively in exercises within the integrated rescue system and clearly identify and determine facilities where the reception of the injured takes place if a mass disaster occurs.
