Kolečkář, David ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The thesis aims at designing and implementing a web application that will be used for the integration of web data sources. For data integration, a method using domain model of the target information system was applied. The work describes individual methods used for extracting information from web pages. The text describes the process of designing the architecture of the system including a description of the chosen technologies and tools. The main part of the work is implementation and testing the final web application that is written in Java and Angular framework. The outcome of the work is a web application that will allow its users to define web data sources and save data in the target database.
Sample projects for operator panels
Urbánek, Matouš ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis will learn about the development of exemplary projects that are designed with fixed functionality for operator panels SIEMENS (BASIC, COMFORT, RT). For this task, I have a development environment TIA portal that brings together many software tools and programs. With which allowed me to create code for specific hardware, and communication with him, or in simulation mode to test the behavior of the application in a real environment. Code, on the PLC is required for the platform (PLC) S7-1200. It is modern and provides flexibility in making out our needs in automatik. The task is engaged, firstly synchronization solution PLC and HMI operator panel. Secondly resipes in these panels.
Integration, Visualization, and Mining from Data of World Countries
Dušek, Vladimír ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis explores the utilization of open data about countries around the world, particularly data in the areas of progress and quality of life. The goal was to design and implement a web application to present this data and further use the data for data mining. The integration and processing of data from open data sources were accomplished using the Apache Airflow platform. The Python framework FastAPI was used to create the API and the JavaScript library ReactJS was used to implement the web application. In the application, the indicators are categorized. Each of them can be displayed for different groups of countries, for different time periods, and in several visualizations. From the domain of data mining, clustering of countries based on a group of indicators and prediction of future development of selected indicators using regression analysis was performed. The final application is available at jakjsmenatom.cz.
Financial Analysis or How the Cybersecurity Company is Doing
Kilián, Tomáš ; Přibyl, Lukáš (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
The content of the bachelor thesis is a financial analysis of the cybersecurity company XYZ a.s. for the accounting period from 2015 to 2021 using data integration tools and internet marketing tools to support management decision making in the current information environment of the company. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the financial analysis tools used along with the quantitative methods used and an introduction to the Maple system. In the practical part, the tools are then applied to the company's data with the help of selected software applications, thus providing the basis for proposals leading to the improvement of the financial situation of XYZ a.s.
Methods for Predicting Drug Side Effects in Silico
Cicková, Pavlína ; Lexa,, Matej (referee) ; Berka,, Karel (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
Vývoj a výzkum léčiv je oblastí současné vědy, jejíž nedílnou součástí je i využití výpočetních metod. Z důvodu nákladnosti a časové náročnosti laboratorních přístupů, metody in silico sehrávají svou významnou roli.
Forest monitoring using the GEDI sensor
Šedová, Adéla ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Moudrý, Vítězslav (referee)
The overall objective of this thesis was to explore the use of GEDI and its integration with Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) for large scale forest monitoring. The study was carried out using a sample of GEDI footprints that fell into the timeline of three available ALS datasets that were acquired during the same year. The study area, located in Southeast of Czechia, is covered with mature 121-year-old forest monoculture of Norway spruce (Picea abies), and due to frequent disturbances caused by infestation is closely monitored as a part of research on forest dynamic. As a result, the forest is highly fragmented, and due to its dynamic character, close dates of acquisitions were preferred to a larger dataset. Canopy gaps and low tree densities are known to pose a challenge for large-footprint full-waveform LiDARs. The specific of GEDI sensor, such as its footprint size, were specially designed to overcome these challenges. The options of optimising GEDI's geolocation accuracy were explored. A tool for integrating GEDI and ALS data, the GEDI Simulator, was used to standardise both data sources and derive elevation height, Relative Height (RH) and Canopy Cover Fraction (CCF). The metrics were derived from real GEDI waveforms, simulated GEDI-like waveforms, and calculated from the ALS point cloud, and...

Integration of legacy databases to current information systems
Navrátil, Jan ; Kopecký, Michal (advisor) ; Helmich, Jiří (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a framework to support Legacy system access. Legacy systems are databases that use incompatible and obsolete technologies and can not be easily abandoned. The framework allows the abstraction of application logic from database platform and will enable full or incremental migration to a new, modern platform in the future. The framework also considers the option of encapsulation of an existing legacy application into the new system as a black box. The framework is well configurable and extendable and is independent on database platform or data context. A system based on proposed framework has been succesfully deployed in a company. The system facilitated the migration of the company to a new information system with an entirely different database platform. The practice shows the viability of the framework design.
