Problems of Investigation of Staged Homicides

PROBLEMS OF INVESTIGATION OF STAGED HOMICIDES Abstract The presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of investigation of staged homicides. The primary aim of the thesis is to point out the specifics and problems that investigation of staged homicides entails. The thesis places particular emphasis on the unusualness of the crime scene search that comes with the investigation of staged homicides, then on the importance of use of the forensic expertise, and, finally, on selected problems related to this type of investigation. In addition, the thesis aims to confront the theoretical part with practical knowledge obtained from people participating in the investigation. Furthermore, the thesis also aims to provide an evaluation of the current practice. The thesis consists of seven chapters apart from the introduction and conclusion. In the first chapter, the concept of staging is generally defined, and further attention is paid to homicide staging and reflection on foreign studies. The second chapter is devoted to the legal definition of homicide and its criminalistic characteristics. The third chapter contains brief characteristics of individual staging methods that may appear in criminalistic practice. Threepenny Opera in Berlin, Prague and Vienna. The Play by Bertolt Brecht and Its Three Stage Productions

This diploma thesis deals with the theatre play The Threepenny Opera by the German playwright Bertolt Brecht. The first part contains a formal analysis and a content interpretation of this literary work. This analysis is used as a basis for the second part of the thesis, which contains the description and comparison of three stage productions of the play in the theatres in three different European capitals between 2007 and 2011. These theaters are: The Berliner Ensemble, The National Theatre in Prague and The Volkstheater in Vienna.
Using Theatre as a Didactic Tool for History Lessons in the Pays de la Loire Region

La pièce de théâtre comme outil d'enseignement de l'histoire dans la région Pays de la Loire Using Theatre as a Didactic Tool for History Lessons in the Pays de la Loire Region Bc. Klára Paseková Abstract This thesis describes the advantages of using theater play as a didactic tool for history teaching, with specific examples from the area of Pays de la Loire, France. The special role of school externist in the context of French schools is introduced, as well as the specific place of drama play as a motivational and educational tool in connection with the subject of history. Using the example of the play Mystère sur les quais de Nantes, the usefulness of the theater play for explaining complex history concept is demonstrated. Materials for history teachers include preparation instructions, the play itself and materials for subsequent discussion session with the author Mme Le Fahler and workshop. Further analysis illustrates the specifics of creating a play for the purpose of teaching history. Dramatization of literary works in the National theatre after the year 1990

This thesis deals with dramatizations of literary works that were introduced at the National Theatre after1990. Compares prose texts with newly formed theatrical texts. It also focuses on the transformation of interpretations of individual works, which occurred as a result of dramatization. For each unfinished work also always gives relevant circumstances relating to the production.
Critical Responses to Ondře Sokol's Plays in Činoherní Klub.

This BA Thesis deals with analysis of responses to productions directed by Ondřej Sokol in Činoherní klub from 2002 to 2011. The analysis will be elaborated on the bases of criticism of particular productions and expert studies that pursue staging of new Czech texts and translations of Ondřej Sokol. Its aim is to express a progress of critics' and audience's acceptance of new plays and also to monitor the expansion of the texts to other theatres and their popularization. The thesis describes a phenomenon of a new poetics that penetrated the Czech theatre milieu through Sokol's translational and dramaturgic work.
Era of Zdenek Hofbauer's activities at the Pilsen Municipal Theatre in 1948 - 1953

This bachelor thesis deals with period in between 1948 and 1953 when Zdeněk Hofbauer was artistic director of J. K. Tyl Theatre. I focused on the drama group, nevertheless I also mention another two theatre artistic groups. Text is devided into two main parts - the first is about Zdeněk Hofbauer (his personal and professional life) and the second is about each theatre season in Hofbauers era in Pilsen. The main resources for this work were studies of theatre critics in the newspapers, the Pilsen archive of J. K. Tyl Theatre and publications about period Czech theatre.
Comparative analysis of drama as a method of teaching literature

Resumé The diploma thesis represents a complex teaching method which is especially suitable for educating of students in their first year at secondary schools, or in the last year at lower secondary schools. This method introduces students to the basics of the secondary school literary education and to the "summary" characteristics of a literary work. The aim of the method is to guide students by means of the method of experiential pedagogy to acquire the whole complex of knowledge and skills in the field of interpretation and analysis which is required for the State part of school-leaving examinations. The method also aims to create and strengthen mutual relationships inside teams of students and the ability of students to cooperate more closely. The method is built up on four starting points: the constructivism, the creation or creativity, the comparison, and dramatic texts with drama education. We have chosen dramatic texts because, from the point of view of literary-theoretical analysis, they contain all the basic categories of "syuzhet" genres; all, apart from narration and narrators. In addition, and in contrast to epics, the interpretation of drama becomes a greater challenge due to the "gaps" which must be filled by the reader.
