Holušová, Kateřina ; Podrázský, Vilém (referee) ; Simon,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Alexandr, Pavel (advisor)
In the presented thesis is an overview of the current state solved the problem, specifying the inclusion of Forensic Ecotechnique: forest and trees into the forensic sciences in the world and its description as part of special methods of forensic engineering. The results focus on the design of standardized and harmonized processes according to the type of expert opinions. As another of the key results of the work are designed functional biometric parameters for evaluating trees in the functional diagnosis of Methods of contact flora assessment (“CFA”). Application of some methods of measurement and selected functional biometric parameters are listed in the examples in the measurement of selected forest stands of beech in the National Nature Reserve Voděradské bučiny and in Chřiby hills. As a general supplement usable in Forensic ecotechnique: forest and trees are given the limits for functional diagnostics. In another series of work includes a discussion on the proposed standards and the measurement results. The work is concluded by summarizing the results and the benefits.

Laboratory functional diagnostics of malabsorption syndromes with the focus on lactose intolerance
Pluhařová, Apolena ; Kocna, Petr (advisor) ; Kohout, Pavel (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with laboratory functional diagnostics of malabsorption syndromes. Especially the functional diagnosis of lactose intolerance. The golden standard for the functional diagnosis of lactose intolerance is the breath test. The aim of the study was to determine the prevalence of lactose intolerance (LI) using a lactose breath test when consuming a dose of 20 g of lactose in patients with gastrointestinal symptoms and in volunteers who do not show gastrointestinal problems. Part of the research was also to examine the symptoms that led the individual to see a doctor and undergo a lactose breath test. The method consisted in the evaluation of the results of breath tests, which were performed on patients and volunteers in the gastroenterological laboratory of the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University and the General Hospital. A questionnaire was given to everyone to evaluate the symptoms of LI and the phenomena leading to malabsorption. Lactose intolerance was confirmed in 92 % of patients and 79 % of volunteers. The most reported symptoms in the patient sample were typical gastrointestinal LI-related problems: gastric and intestinal problems after milk consumption (85 % of patients), gastric and intestinal problems after consumption of dairy products (85 % of patients),...

Functional diagnostics in female ice hockey players
Zajícová, Veronika ; Heller, Jan (advisor) ; Perič, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The exercise diagnostics of women ice-hockey players - Wingate test Objectives: The study is focused on anthropometric characteristics and anaerobic efficiency comparing with using 30s Wingate test parameters. For the test groups of women ice-hockey players and boys ice-hockey players ages 15, 16 and 17 have been selected. The purpose of the work is forming a picture about efficiency level of women players from the national team and comparing with the results of these three selected groups of boys. The study includes a data evaluation of questionnaire about hockey experiences of women players. The exercise anaerobic 30s Wingate test has been implemented on selected group of women ice-hockey players from 14 to 26 years (x = 17.8 ± 3.7). The results of this group have been compared with results of three groups of hockey players ages 15, 16 and 17 (x = 14.98 ± 0.81; x = 16.03 ± 0.41; x = 17 ± 0.35). Working hypothesis supposed no differences between anaerobic training facility indices of women and boys ages 15, 16 and 17. Methods : Basic statistical items (x-arithmetic mean, SD-standard deviation) for all 4 groups (women, boys age 15, 16 and 17) have been evaluated. The statistical significance of differences between average values of file parameters has been tested by T-test (also known as...

The effect of physiotherapy on function of postural mobility in high-performance sportsmen (tennis players)
Šobáňová, Jindřiška ; Kolář, Pavel (advisor) ; Horáček, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis, entitled "The effect of physiotherapy on the function of postural motorics in competitive sportsmen (tennis players)", deals with how the activation of the deep stabilizing muscles affects postural functions in adolescent tennis players. A group of 13 competitive tennis players, aged between 10 and 17 years, were used as our probands. These subjects were examined with a bespoke set of tests of functions and then they were individually educated to train with a set of stabilization functions. After the therapy, they were re-examined with this set of tests again and the results of both sets of tests were compared and evaluated. In particular, we evaluated the changes in reactions of individual players, the changes in separate tests and in groups of tests, and the position of players in match rankings. Calculation of the size of the surface area of deciduous trees and their potential for eventual use in a forensic-expert practice
Honzová, Markéta ; Čermák, Jan
Calculation of the surface area of above ground parts of the tree of chosen species individuals (oak, ash, small-leaved lime) was based on a set of data measured in a flood plain forest in Lednice in southern Moravia. The basic principle is to convert volume values of the tree skeleton (stem, branches) in thickness classes into the size of the area. There was reviewed the importance of these parameters in relation to forensic ecotechnique. In particular, there was assessed usefulness of results for determine functions of trees in terms of allometric relationships (e.g. cambium area in relation to base), importance of the size of bark area to capture dust particles, water interception or absorption of noise.
