Intelligent Online File System Guard
Matějíček, Jaroslav ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis contains introduction to file system monitoring. Alaylisys and implementation of application designed to do this.
Design of Distributed Filesystem
Ďulík, Jan ; Michal, Bohumil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
Main goal of this work is to design and implement distributed file system for storing data of project. There can be more geographical separated work groups involved in the project. Big deal is done with analysing the situations, which can occur while using the distributed file system. The work is concerned with choosing suitable data replication politic while considering miscellaneous work models and drain. The last part describes implementation of distributed file system for Linux operating system with use of FUSE and rsync.
Electronic attendance book
Nezval, Tomáš ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with analysis of available identification chips and the design electronic attendance book that these chips will use and store the measured information to a file on a memory card. One of the tasks is to compare different kinds of identification cards and chips, and select the most appropriate type for the implementation process. Additionally, the work described the FAT file system, which is used for data storage card.
Analysis of Private Information from FAT32
Križan, Lukáš ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to create an application which can search for and recover specific files in the file system FAT32, and subsequently extract sensitive information from these files. The first part of this thesis describes the principles underlying FAT32, and focuses on how the analysed applications store information. The second part outlines the application and describes its implementation and simulations.
RedirFS - Application on Data Encryption
Zůna, Pavel ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design and implementation of a cryptographic filter for the Redirecting Filesystem Framework (RedirFS for short) in the form of a Linux kernel module. It starts by giving the reader a general overview of modern cryptography and encryption. Before diving into the filter specifics, it takes a tour of the most important features of RedirFS. When done with introductory chapters, it describes the design choices made considering their benefits and limitations. The final chapter is completely devoted to cipherflt: a proof of concept implementation of the cryptographic filter.
A Hidden GNU/Linux File System
Pavlásek, Martin ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Lengál, Ondřej (advisor)
Some sensitive data need such a way of hiding that hides not only the content of the data but its preserve itself. The goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to create a file system that enables hiding of files with sensitive data to other files. This text contains an overview of principles used in current file systems and a description of the structure and use of the FUSE technology. Further, the work describes the design of a filesystem that hides files into ID3 tags of MP3 music files and it's implementation in C++. The created filesystem is experimentally assessed and evaluated.
Connecting SD Memory Card to Microcontroller
Laurinc, Pavel ; Kubek, Ján (referee) ; Škarvada, Jaroslav (advisor)
Author concerns with SD memory cards and microcontroller Atmel ATmega128. He describes their architecture, features, properties and technology used in devices. He is mentioning principle of communication protocols used by SD card, through that cards can communicate with other connected devices. He analyzes the functionality of FAT file system. He describes the design and implementation of interfaces to connect the SD cards to microcontroller. He explains software solutions of this project and gives impartial view to usage and comparisons of implemented modes of communication witch card.
Big Block File System
Rajman, Jakub ; Lampa, Petr (referee) ; Čejka, Rudolf (advisor)
Master's thesis treats of implementation of big block file system for FreeBSD operating system. The introduction of this document is dedicated to theoretically analysis, which is oriented on history, sense and usage of file systems. Next chapter describes the architecture of UFS/FFS file system. Implementation part starts with introducing design of new file system, which was isnpired by MSDOSFS file system. Last part of this thesis presents implementation of file system with great emphasis on problems, which can happen during programming.
Battery powered datalogger with CPU
Andrýs, Jiří ; Beran, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this design are mentioned processes of power consumption reduction of battery-powered devices.Execution of a project is software SPI for MMC card and file system FAT16 without extension of VFAT (Virtual File Allocation Table) – LFN (Long File Names). Hardware design consists of boost power supply, linear stabilizer, external RTC (Real Time Clock), IRQ low power modul, interface for MMC (Multi Media Card) and circuits for RS-232, RS-485. There is either a design of analog measuring interface.
Monitoring interference in the mains supply
Jirčík, Zdeněk ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This semester thesis describes design of electronic device adapted to monitoring of mains supply. Theoretical parts describes mains supply analysis, communication and management of files to memory. Next part is design electronics blocks and their cooperation. There are description of mains analyzer prototype and it’s parts and functions. Prototype was submitted to test measurement.
