The positive influence of learning and activating methods, applied in a adulthood as a prequisite for active aging

My thesis focuses on the education of adults, with view to peculiarities of their development and with accent to the senior population. It deals with the impact of physiological changes in the period of interevium and senium, which significantly affect the level of learning and education, and subsequently also self confidence of an individual, activity of their approach towards old age and their perception of well-being. The author projects to her thesis her own feelings, attitudes, opinions and experiences. She works with mnemonics, which facilitate long-term memory and support healthy activity of an individual. She considers current needs of the senior population and has tried to depict them graphically in the form of a treetop. A survey in the form of a simple questionnaire was carried out among senior citizens in order to identify their interest in education and their understanding of learning as a prevention of active and healthy life in old age. The survey was participated in by 150 responders, mostly women, from the Center for Social and Nursing Services in Prague 10 and within the activities of the Civic Association Život 90. Formation of attachment in children living in children's home

9 ABSTRACT One of a child's basic psychological needs is the need for a stabile emotional bond. The theses researches if the children from private children's home Radost are able to establish such specific emotional bonds to the carers employed there. The Czech Radost children's home follows principles and guidelines established by a well know German children's home. This German facility places emphasis on nurturing the emotional bonds of children, and as such differs considerably from classic state institutions. The underlying assumption is that given the right conditions and support, children have a high chance to create specific emotional bonds. In order to gain the necessary data it was chosen the method of qualitative evaluation with participant observation as the prevailing research strategy. The data are triangulated with some other methods including: semi-structured interviews, analysis of file documentation and a modified version "Test of Family Relationships" (Kovařík, 1993). The data analysis is enriched with knowledge and experiences from two other children's homes abroad, where saturation of psychological needs of children is a priority (Danish and German model). The development of financial literacy of the youth leaving children's home

This thesis is focused on education of financial literacy of children living in children's homes. It is based on current state of education politics in the fields of financial literacy, the contents of educational programmes and qualitative research of real current state of education of financial literacy in children's homes. The research itself will be made via structured interviews with children from children's homes. The research is focused on discovering the level of financial literacy of older children (15 - 18 years old) permanently living in children's homes, searching for possibilities of improvement of education of financial literacy in children's homes and therefore increasing prevention of social exclusion of young people leaving children's homes due to over-owing which is usually caused by low level of financial literacy. Innovation of the System of Education in Company ELKO EP, s.r.o.

This master‘s thesis deals with analysis of the current system of training employees in the company ELKO EP, s.r.o. On the basis of facts the thesis provides innovation of the current staff training. Innovated system of education should lead primarily to more effective education system, improvement in the monitoring of the output of the educational activities and above all the innovated system should save the company’s expenses. The process of education in ELKO EP is one of the benefits for employees and it also plays the role of promoter for the employee motivation in their knowledge development and expansion of valuable human capital.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the need to increase the psychological skills of integrated rescue system workers and then to the proposal of educational activities. The first part concerns the competence theory; there is a description and definition of competence and its classification and division. Next section deals with the mechanisms of psychological adaptation to stressful situations which employees of IRS may experience. Another section is focused on mental functioning in stressful situations and at different steps as all above phases of activation, stages of coping with mental stress and consequential phase. In the subsection about police stress is mentioned psychological stress in the investigation of violent crime, especially with extreme corpses, death of a child or death under tragic circumstances. Attention is also paid to the psychological result of firearm use, police work-related stress and coping with stress in police practice. Mental health workers of IRS describes the resistance of integrated rescue system workers to stressful situations, also protect the mental health of these workers and, ultimately, burnout syndrome. The work also provides a simple overview of psychological care intended for IRS workers and effective means for the prevention of post-traumatic stress symptoms in people working in the IRS. The main options to prevent the crisis intervention - professional method of working with people in a situation they experienced from their perspective as stressful or threatening. Another option is supervision - counseling method that helps workers in their professional development, aims to increase their professionalism. A separate sub-chapter focuses on communication with people and its rules. Principles of dealing with mentally disturbed individuals, principles of dealing with victims of crime, also dealing with a suicide, a communication with the elderly, the principle of communicating bad news and communication with aggressors are elaborated in detail. The last subchapter of the theoretical part concerns the crisis communication, communication with affected persons and the specifics of crisis communication in the security forces - the Police of Czech Republic, Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and Emergency Medical Services. The research part begins with chapter objectives of the thesis, which sets out the three main goals. The first goal is to characterize the educational system of the Police of the Czech Republic - basic training and the possibility of subsequent training. It includes a mention about the Code of Ethics of the Police of the Czech Republic, which is a standard for all police officers. The next purpose is to characterize the educational system of the Italian police, which is divided into three modules - security and defense, weapons and their legitimate use, transport and traffic regulations. The education of police officers in Italy comprises special modules, which are further divided into five sub-modules - communication between the police officer and a citizen or group of citizens, the process of communication, nonverbal communication, communication problems and the management of anxiety and stress. The final objective is the design of educational activities, which was created based on the comparison of educational systems Police and Italy. The first focuses on communication - communication training complex situations using model situations and training of reading nonverbal communication. The second proposal concerns the increase in the education of police officers in the field of ethnic differences between people living in the Czech Republic.The last proposal is the education of police officers in sign language - the basic features for initial communication and understandings with hearing impaired people. These designs can be used for the practice of police training.
Traditional folk culture and the possibilities for its use in the education and personal development of a child

This thesis tackles the topic of the influence folk culture has on shaping the identity of a child. The theoretical part describes the legislative framework of traditional folk culture in the Czech Republic as well as on the international level. Furthermore, this part deals with the standing traditional folk culture has in the documents issued by the ministry of education. The correct interpretation of educational curricula and the adherence to the documents issued by the ministry of culture impact the mediation of cultural information to children. With the help of interviews with children, the NIPOS survey (The role selected arts activities had in the shaping of identities of primary school children) and own experience, this bachelor thesis aims to find out the nature of the influence of traditional folk culture on the education and personal development of children. In addition, the thesis seeks to present suitable suggestions on how to better and more efficiently mediate folk culture to children not only in the state-owned educational institutions but also in the family settings.
Current position of the Czech secondary vocational education without leaving examination and the possible solutions of its problems

This bachelor thesis defines contemporary situation of vocational training (higher secondary education without leaving examination) in the Czech Republic and defines its main problems from the sides of state, firms and potential interested persons in education. The principal aim is offer the conception of 3 types of defined solutions of recent situation -- system alternation, reformation and parametric alternation. The thesis builds on the OECD's paper - OECD Reviews of Vocational Education and Training, but OECD's solutions are limiting by current paradigm. For the definition of the problem is necessary to describe its background, therefore the theoretical part is fixed on adjustment of the secondary-school's systems of the vocational training in the Czech Republic and in the whole world. The practical part of the thesis as the first analyzes the demand of students and employers in the Czech Republic for vocational skills and shows the preferences of both groups and the involvement of the state. According to ascertained information is explored if there are problem in the vocational training (without the leaving examination), and if is a necessity to solve it. The advantages and disadvantages of the Czech vocational training are analyzed and due to the solutions of the problems can be searching. The impact and influence of the present economic crisis on the standards and position of the vocational training on the educational market is evaluated. At the last is analyzed possible solutions contemporary situation with 3 possible concepts -- alternation with change of all system, alternation of reformation and parametric alternation.
How to teach about commnism in Czechoslovakia? The Comparison of Educational Programs for Teaching about Communism at elementary schools in the subject called Education to Citizenhood.

The content of the thesis is focused on the process of teaching about the socialist era in former Czechoslovakia, in the so called "Human and Society" sphere of education, which means in the subjects Education to Citizenhood and History at scondary school. The theme of this thesis is The Comparison of Educational Programs for Teaching about Communism at elementary schools in the subject called education to Citizenhood. The teoretical part of the thesis analyses the opinions of the Education Ministry of the Czech Republic to the efficient changes in teaching and high increase of using the oral history. The oral history is the main contents of the projects and programs that started mostly to introduce the socialist era to the wide public. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the educational programs, tha were put together for the public by non-profit organisations, many of these have an extensive presentation on web pages. The practical part of the thesis deals with their comparison with the help of the "comparative method", it is also focused on didactical analysis of publications published for this ocassion. The source materials for this comparison were the publications of the organisations Člověk v tísni, Opona, Post Bellum, or the internet projects Totalita.cz, Moderni-dejiny.cz etc. None of the printed publications succeeded in more than 50% in the final didactic analysis. Anyway the best results were achieved by the publications of the organisation Člověk v tísni from the project "The Stories of Injustice" and the book "The Alphabet of Communism" written by the journalist for MF DNES and published by the Host publishing house.
Use of technical materials at primary school for the subject of Practical activities

The thesis consits of two parts introducing some of the educational programs for primary school, which are the most exploited in the current educational system. Furthermore theteoretical part drala with differences in subject of Practical activities at primary school. The practical part presents several technical materials selected for 1st-5th class of primary school in the subject of Practical activities. In another component of the practical part the autor suggests topics possible to use in other subjects as well.
