Artistic creation as a means of prevention and correction of dysgraphia in the environment of the 1st stage of primary school

The diploma thesis Art as a means of prevention and correction of dysgraphia in the environment of the 1st stage of primary school represents a connection of special pedagogy with art education in the environment of a primary school. The diploma thesis also presents intervention material to examine the effectiveness of the development of fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, concentration of attention and visual imagination. The aim of the work is to offer an insight into the theory of specific learning disabilities, to present the author's intervention material as a possibility of initial pedagogical diagnostics, development and correction in the field of special educational needs as a whole with the help of art education. Assistant of teacher at an elementary school for children with specific learning disabilities

The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part is divided into three chapters, which describe specific learning disabilities, education of pupils with specific learning disabilities and last part deals with the teaching assistant. The second part is practically oriented and the main one is to determine whether pupils third grade elementary school teacher's assistant fruitful work and whether his work reflected on the quality of pupils' school work and their results. Abstract: This thesis deals with dyslexia and language play in ELF classes. It offers games and activities that can meet the needs of dyslexic students and thus contribute to their rehabilitation. The games are designed specifically for younger beginners and can be recommended primarily for integrated classes. This thesis aims to become a tool for teachers in the selection of appropriate play activities.
Individual integration of pupils with specific learning difficulties in primary school

Bachelor thesis addresses the up-to-date issue of "Individual integration of pupils with specific learning disabilities in primary school". It is divided into theory and practical part. The theory part, worked out from specialized source, defines specific learning disabilities and describes its classification, symptoms, reeducation of specific learning disabilities in general . The practical part describes an example of good practice - Táborská Elementary School, where individual integration of pupils along with specific learning disabilities takes place. It deals, in addition to the characteristics of schools, school counseling department and course integration and several specific examples of the integration.
Selected learning disabilities from the linguistic point of view

At the beginning of the bachelor thesis the various learning disorders will be defined in context of cognitive and psycholinguistic researches focusing mainly on children dyslexia and dysgraphia. The causes of these disorders and the classification of their types will be characterized based on the scholarly literature used as a source in the thesis. Another major section deals with the current diagnostic and therapeutic approaches towards the dyslexia and dysgraphia including the possible remedies and the evaluation of the available materials and tools. Finally, the two types of fundamental questions regarding the linguistic approach towards learning disorders will be described; the questions already having a solution and those remaining open to discussion. At the end the findings from the theoretical part will be concluded and linked with the following research.

The thesis describes specific learning disabilities in general with the main accent on dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia. It states causes and displays of SLD and their reflec- tion in children's mental well and the life of their families. It also deals with general reeduca- tion methods of learning disabilities and specific methods of dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia remedy including outline of tools needed for reeducation. It presents care sys- tem for children with SLD in Czech Republic or who may be involved in care and education of these individuals. There are following methods used for the research in the practical part of the thesis: analysis of documentation, observation, interview and processing of casuistries. The research took place in two institutions, which deal with care about children with SLDs. It is the goal of the practical part of the bachelor thesis to present two institutions working with children with SLD, analyze their remedy methods and assemble casuistries of two selected students.
Possibilities of individual curriculum's application by pupils with specific learning

This bachelor thesis deals with the specific learning difficulties, individual education plans and with possibilities of application for pupils with specific learning difficulties in primary school. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on specific learning difficulties and their specifications, etiology, exhibition of specific learning difficulties, deficit of sense perception, reeducation and ADHD and ADD which are commonly occurs with the specific learning difficulties. I describe requirements of individual education plan and concrete possibilities for application of individual education plan by pupils with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dysorthography and also pupils with ADHD and ADD. The goal of the practical part is to evaluate the contents of individual education plans for pupils with specific learning difficulties. The practical part consists of a questionnaire survey for teachers. The goal is to evaluate their informations about individual education plans, about specific learning difficulties and evaluate how they use individual education plans in practice. Role of Preparatory Class in the Intervention for Specific Learning disabilities

The aim of the thesis "Role of preparatory classes in prevention of specific learning disabilities" is to compare intervention of kindergarten and elementary school preparratory classes during suspension of school attendance. It describes all the kinds of specific learning disabilities. It works out in detail diagnostics of specific learning disabilities risk factors from the special education perspective. It offers integral methodology for time undemanding orientational testing of specific learning disabilities risk factors for preschool children. This methodology was used for testing children with suspended school attendance at the start of a school year and in A March of the same school year. Learning Difficulties and Foreign Language Teaching - Lower Secondary Schools

This diploma thesis focuses on foreign language teaching to children with specific learning difficulties (LD) at Czech lower secondary schools. It aims to define learning difficulties and describe their causes and manifestations in developing individual foreign language skills and sub-skills. Moreover, the work with these children in the school environment is mentioned and the Czech system of educating them is compared to the French one. The practical part surveys the opinions of foreign language teachers on this subject and analyses the techniques they use with these pupils. Special attention is paid to the differences in the approach of teachers at schools with classes specialized in the tuition of children with LD, schools with extensive language teaching and schools with no specialization. The results indicate that the majority of teachers agree with the integration of pupils with LD into mainstream schools and they favour their exemption from second foreign language study. The individual types of schools differ mainly in the approach towards the presentation of new grammar, in the types of exercises used for the development of communication skills and in the forms of testing and evaluation.
