Study of tebuconazole complexes with metal ionts
Norková, Renáta ; Jaklová Dytrtová, Jana (advisor) ; Vyskočil, Vlastimil (referee)
Tebuconazole belongs to widely utilized plant fungicides, mostly in vineyards. Its traces are present in plant tissues, wine as well as in soil. The aim of the study was to determine stoichiometries and stabilities of metal (Cu, Zn, Cd, Ca and Ag) complexes with tebuconazole (1) by means of electrospray ionization mass spectrommetry (ESI-MS). It was found that the complexes of tebuconazole with copper ions are particularly stable ([Cu(1)]+ has appearance energy 224 kJ·mol-1 , corresponding with the dissociation of the water molecule from the tebuconazole molecule), while the stability of another tebuconazole complexes is lower, about 150 kJ·mol-1 . In real environmental samples, the detection of 1 itself is hampered by its spreading into various species. The method involved here is based upon a hyphenation of electrochemistry (amperometry) and electrospray-ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). It uses the fact that Cu creates very stable complexes with 1. We demonstrate that at appropriate potentials (at higher than 500 mV) Cu cations can be generated in an electrochemical cell and subsequently form complexes with 1 present in the sample. The resulting complex [Cu(1)]+ is detected with ESI-MS. The intensity of detected complexes depends on the concentration of 1 and the oxidation level of the...
Leniency policy
Šorf, Jiří ; Borkovec, Aleš (advisor) ; Hraba, Zdeněk (referee)
KEY WORDS: leniency, hard-core cartel, whistleblowing, competition The EU/US Leniency policy is a thesis collecting and classifying huge amount of information and data from several legislations in relation to a relatively new phenomenon of leniency policy. Its additional value are not only commentaries on the de lege lata (currently existing) legislation, but mainly de lege ferandae presumptions emphasizing the trends which could be anticipated in the leniency policies in the future. Processing world data would not be in my capacities and therefore I decided to work with the most representative legislations - those of the European Union and of the United States, a minor insight is also given in case of Great Britain, Germany and France. The thesis helps the reader get familiar with the basic leniency concepts (terminology, principles, history) and subsequently starts explaining the core of the laws from the substantial as well as procedural point of view. Chapters enabling comparison of European and American law firstly set both legislative frameworks and then provide a comparative chapter at the end dealing with weaknesses and strengths of each program. The historical part deals with the circumstances which led to passing of the legislative predecessors of the current laws but also carefully...
How do the younger school age children conceptualize the moral problems in their games?
Pastíriková, Jana ; Klusák, Miroslav (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
This bachelor thesis is aimed on play of younger school age children. Particularly to examinate the paradox of establishing moral autonomy based on cooperation in the game in contrast with elements of competition, rivalry and arguments that are also often occur. How children understand and deal with morally problematic situations I investigated through qualitative research in the children collective. As data collection method I used involved observations in children's collective. Then I conducted semi-structured interviews with selected children and the teacher. This way structured research helped me to understand the rules of games and how children approached them. After that I could describe and analyze why children interrupted their games and how would they deal with it afterwards. I found out that morally problematic situations in the game often led to it ́s discontinuation. But in the end children always tried to restore the game through cooperation. This cooperation also continued during the whole game so players could gain pleasure and fun from the game. The effort to win was also very important in their games, because it helped improve the quality of the whole game.
Plant competition in the early ontogeny
Čiháková, Klára ; Weiser, Martin (advisor) ; Fendrych, Matyáš (referee)
Competitive impacts on early stages of plant ontogeny are being reviewed in this thesis. Those processes select for evolutionary or phenotypically plastic responses in timing of emergence, seed morphological properties, maternal effects and reaction on environmental cues. However, pattern of the strong selective pressure is sometimes not apparent, due to the lack of data and knowledge on the influence of the other factors in plant's life.
OUTDOOR GAMES
Mareš, David ; Přibyl, Ivan (advisor) ; Jahodová, Gabriela (referee)
Topic of thesis discusses the general nature of physical games outdoors, especially their importance from an educational, pedagogical and development point of view. It also focuses in detail on the use of physical games outdoors in the activities of special interest groups, sorting and dividing, their importance in the areas of leisure and recovery activities of the organism, which is probably most natural for children, which is a game. Thesis also deals with their significant contribution in the areas of personal and social development, the integration of individuals, but also in the areas of prevention of socially pathological phenomena. The thesis Further details the methodology of compiling the relay outdoor games, and its usage in practice. The thesis is based on detailed literature review, person experience and investigation, and is divided into chapters. After the introduction the next section contains general theoretical knowledge of the complex nature of outdoor games, their types, importance, as well as their differences and diversity. The third chapter is devoted to a detailed methodology for compiling appropriate relay games in an actual outdoor environment. The fourth chapter describes the practical part, which is the preparation and implementation of relay games, and its verification,...

Veřejné zakázky ve zdravotnictví
Počarovský, Jiří ; Janský, Petr (advisor) ; Maršál, Aleš (referee)
This thesis is focused on public procurement issues. Competitive tendering provides great scope for inefficient allocation of resources. This work studies such scope theoretically. Transaction costs, pressure on price and quality of services, influence of competition on price and impact of for profit and not for profit status of the service providers are discussed. These aspects are then tested on empirical data. The data come from public contracts announced by 111 selected hospitals in the Czech Republic in 2006 - 2009. Ordinary least squares and least absolute deviations are employed. The results indicate that a higher number of bids implies a lower final price. The second conclusion is that the open tender procedure reduces the final price compared to other types of proceedings.
Selected issues of unfair competition and legal protection against such conduct
Kelman, Jan ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee)
The selected unfair competition practice and protection against such practice The aim of the thesis is to analyze the phenomenon of misleading advertising and the possibilities of legal protection against that kind of unfair competition, within the comprehensiveness of Master's diploma thesis. I deal with the topic predominantly from the private law point of view. The aim of the thesis is, first, to summarize unfair competition and related terminology and, next, to outline its different aspects in detail and present related instruments of legal defence. The thesis consists of nine chapters. Each of them is concerned with different aspects of unfair competition. The Introduction describes the thesis topic, the structure of the thesis and its aim. Chapter One defines the term 'competition' and describes the law regulating the right to competition, its limits and normative basis. Chapter Two focuses on market competition and consists of two parts. The first one concentrates on legal definition of the term 'competition' and its general interpretation. The second one is addressed to competition law and its division. Chapter Three explains the term 'unfair competition' and presents a detailed survey of subjects in unfair competition. Following subchapters examines 'competitors', 'consumers', 'other...
Habitat requirements and competition between native and invasive Impatiens species
Čuda, Jan ; Skálová, Hana (advisor) ; Prach, Karel (referee)
Three of Impatiens species are widespread in the Czech republic, one is native, two of them invasive. Because all species occur in relatively similar habitats, the question is, whether the invasive species can negatively affect the native species, or even the original can can be displaced. The aim of the thesis was: (i) to compare habitat requirments of the Impatiens species, (ii) to determine if the coexistence of species is possible, (iii) to assess the impact of invasive species to the original species. The investigation was carried out using two sets of permanent plots in 5 localities. In the first set with a total of 84 plots (combinations of occurrence of the three species) site characteristics as tree cover, soil humidity, slope and bare land cover were directly measured and nutrient, light, humidity and soil reaction characteristic assessed using Ellenberg indicator values. The second set contained a total of 45 plots with one of the native-invasive congener pair being removed and the intact controls. Number, cover and height of the plants were assesed. The key enviromental factors determining distribution of the species were soil moisture for I. noli-tangere and I. parviflora, and tree cover for I. glandulifera and I. parviflora. Ellenberg indicator values had poor explanation value;...
