Determining the marketing mix for a start-up travel agency aimed at the Belgian market

This thesis suggests a marketing mix consisting of 4 P's for a start-up travel agency. It created a product according to the quantitative research, n=140, and a qualitative research on the Belgian market. It includes the price of the product according to a competitor analysis, price expectation of the segment and a calculation of all costs connected with providing the service. It suggests also a promotion strategy aimed at the target audience and describes the place in terms point of sale dedicated to Belgian market.

Bachelor thesis deals with the perceived quality of products of tourism purchased on daily deals website issue. The main aim is to evaluate perceived quality and subsequently to compare with the perceived quality of the product of tourism purchased at tour operators or travel agencies. In terms of outcomes from the survey, which attempt 221 respondents from the Slovak and Czech republics, were identified most frequent negatives and positives connected with purchase on daily deal websites and tour operators and travel agencies. And a follow - up comparison negotiating about impacts of negatives on the willingness to repeat purchase on daily deal websites and at tour operator and travel agency.
Alpine trekking in the offer of Czech tour operators

This bachelor thesis deals with the offer of selected Czech tour operators focused on the alpine trekking. The first part defines the main theoretical terms such as tourism, trekking and alpine trekking. The following part is dedicated to the definition of a tour operator and its product - a package tour. The final part looks into the selected tour operators, discribes them and compares their offer of organized package tours from different points of view and also compares organized package tours to unorganized tours.

This bachelor thesis investigates the social media, which favour is dramaticaly increasing. Thanks to modern technologies, they are available more than ever. We will specifically focus on using them by companies, which can increase their profit aswell as popularity. Through social media, companies can introduce their services or merchandise, they can also use it as completely new way of communication. As you can be better and more succesful thanks to social network, you can also lose pace with the others or stand face-to-face to open critics. We will specifically focus on tourism and tourist agencies. We will analyze approches of these companies, how they work with social network. We will find pros and cons on which companies should focus. We will try to suggest some ideas for future.
Perception of Attractiveness of Poland as a Tourism Space by Population of Czechia

The doctoral thesis is devoted to analyzing the perception of attractiveness of Poland as a tourism space from the perspective of Czech citizens in a broader context of mutual Czech -Polish relations in tourism. The thesis is primarily based on theoretical concepts of geography of tourism and at the same time it also follows other geographical and scientific disciplines. The methodological framework of the thesis benefits from the openness and multi-disciplinary nature of tourism. Part of the thesis was created using traditional methods and techniques applied in geography, among others: questionnaire research among students, structured interviews with employees of travel agencies, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the Polish governmental institutions, and analyses of the Internet and printed sources. Additionally, there were utilized methods and techniques used more frequently in other disciplines, including: Delphi method, SWOT analysis, mystery shopping, analysis of travelogues, Internet sources of information about Poland, and content of textbooks. The empirical part of the thesis serves to realize four main aims. Optimization of travel agency routes

Summary This thesis deals with the optimization of chosen travel agency routes. The optimization is performed using several methods, e. g. nearest neighbor method, Vogel approximation method and spanning tree method. For each method a comparison is provided with the original route and map, which illustrates visited places and their distribution. The theoretical part describes the origin of tourism, the Czech republic in international tourism, legislation and logistics. In this section the methods of the analytical part and their advantages and disadvantages are described. In the final part of the work all the information obtained using the above methods are included in the final discussion and there the best method for chosen travel agency is featured.

In the second part is evaluated survey among residents aimed to find out their preferences and demands for an active holiday. In the next part a detailed analysis of selected Prague tour operators is made as well as their comparison i. In the final chapter is designed own sports tour for a tour operator including calculation.

Nowadays it is becoming more popular to travel and at the same time to get acquainted with the gastronomy and the culture of a foreign country. The theme of this thesis is the gastronomic tourism and the offer of gourmet tours. The aim is to evaluate the current state of gastronomic tourism with the help of analysis of tours for gourmets offered by Czech and Russian travel agencies. Rating is based on the offer of gourmet tours listed on the websites of travel agencies.

The main aim of my thesis was to characterize the business environment of tour operators and travel agencies in the Czech Republic and suggest possibilities of improvement in this area. Own propositions and recommendations are based on knowledge and information gained from the analysis of the business environment, questionnaire survey and interviews with representatives of associations of tour operators and travel agencies in the Czech Republic.
