Specifics of education and activation of seniors in residential facilities

The thesis deals with the issue of education and activation of seniors in residential facilities - homes for the elderly. In the theoretical part it deals with the quality of life of seniors, motivation for further education, intergenerational learning, the topic of aging and old age in the context of demographic, socio-political, health, cultural and legislative aspects. It is the demographic development of society that is a major impetus for change in the field of professional institutional care for the elderly. Specific integrative, counselling, therapeutic and rehabilitation approaches and conceptualisations of these topics are set within the framework of andragogy and gerontagogy. The research focuses on two target groups: on the one hand, the elderly themselves who have completed educational and activation programmes and on the professionals who implement or prepare (methodologically, managerially) these activities and activities. The aim of the thesis is to observe the interdisciplinary importance of education, animation and activation for the development of cognitive abilities of individuals and their quality of life. Analysis of educational needs of teachers at high school

1 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the educational needs of adults in professional education, specifically focuses on the analysis of the educational needs of grammar school teachers, which the student choses for the implementation of research. Today, the further education of pedagogical staff is a much-discussed topic, as one of the goals of the Strategie 2030+ document is to transform schools into learning organizations. But before a educational program can be determined, educational needs must be analyzed and identified. Therefore, the aim of the diploma thesis is primarily to analyze and identify the educational needs of grammar school teachers and then to design a program for their implementation. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is based on the study of professional literature and other available sources. Analysis of educational needs of assistants to pedagogues at elementary schools of municipality with extended competence Otrokovice

The present Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and identification of the training needs of the teaching assistants at elementary schools in the territory of the municipality with extended powers (MEP) Otrokovice. The purpose of the Bachelor thesis is to identify the training needs of the teaching assistants working at primary schools in MEP Otrokovice. The theoretical section defines the starting points associated with the training in an organization, the training need analysis, the term "teaching assistant", its legislative support and job duties. The empirical section uses content analysis of documents and a survey to examine the training needs of teaching assistants in the selected territory. The result of the survey is the identification of teaching assistants' training needs in the municipality with extended powers Otrokovice. The consent analysis of documents provided information about the activities required as job duties from employees by head teachers. Such specific activities formed the basis for a survey whose respondents included teaching assistants working at primary schools in the municipality with extended powers Otrokovice and the head teachers. Training of employees in a non-school organization

This diploma thesis deals with the education of employees in non-school organization. The thesis is divided into two parts, part of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on how education should be set up in non-school organizations, how to identify educational needs and how to apply them to practice. More specifically, this theoretical part focuses primarily on corporate education in general, on resources and characteristics of company education, strategy, goals, methods and also the complete process from identification of educational needs, planning, implementation to evaluation of education itself. The practical part of this diploma thesis is focused on the selected organization XY, which is described throughout this work as the "Kernel a." Organization, as it wished to remain anonymous. In the Kernel a.s. an assessment has been made of how learning needs are identified, how the education is planned, implemented and subsequently evaluated. All this information has been evaluated on the basis of the Internal Education Directive and also on the basis of data obtained through the questionnaire survey method from the random staff of the company under investigation. Educational Needs Analysis of General Nurses in Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to distinguish and to analyze the educational needs of general nurses of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice by testing specific method of research. This specific method is a questionnaire based on Metodika vzdělávacích plánů created by HESTIA a. s. together with PhDr. Jiří Tošner. The goal can be devided into two sub-goals. First sub-goal is to test this questionnaire for distingushing the educational needs of general nurses in Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice, the second sub-goal is to distinguish and analyze the educational needs of general nurses of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice. The theoretical part of this thesis is based on remarkable work of 20th century's scholars, sociologists, physicians and researchers and its aim is to present the psychiatry within its historical and contemporary concept. The thesis will also focus on the occupation of nurse, its history and current state. Last but not least, this thesis will present the history, organizational structure and educational opportunities of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice. Education and development of teachers in kindergarten

The aim of this thesis is to map one of the activity- personnel training and development of teaching staff in educational institutions, particularly in kindergartens. Theoretically define the concepts of learning and development. The theoretical part describes the personnel activity in general, the historical development of human resources work, focuses on human resources management in detail. The next section defines theoretical difference between education and development. Education and development phases are analyzed in detail. The work deals with the education and development in the context of teaching staff in the final part of the theoretical section. In the empirical part by questionnaires is described and analyzed the systém of education and development of teachers in kindergartens in Prague. As a supplementary method is, used an interview with the directors of nurseries on the education and development of teachers in kindergarten. The survey is further complemented by an analysis of the documents relating to the education and development of teachers.
