Influence of Relationships at a Workplace on Proffesional identity of a School Psychologist

Rigorous work Influence of Relationships at a Workplace on Professional Identity of a School Psychologist show the profession through his relationships at a workplace. Relational network of the professional is wide (headmaster of school, teachers, students, their parents, pedagogical-psychological counsel, other experts, other school psychologists, etc.), which was discussed more in the previous thesis. Our rigorous work is aimed at relationship with school management and teaching staff. The area of relationships closely relates to roles in which the school psychologist acts. The text of the work is divided into chapters and is based on selected available Czech and foreign literature. Next, there is a metodological part, which informs the reader about the way of collecting the data. The final part is dedicated to the results of analyzed interviews with the school psychologists. Our rigorous work is based on a thesis where "relationships" were one of the researched category. For the professional identity of a school psychologist relationships are essential factor. Changes in profile of professional identity of school psychologists in the last ten years

This diploma thesis deals with the professional identity of school psychologists. The aim of this thesis is researching of changing the profile of professional identity in last ten years and observing the other variables how and in what way they influence the professional identity of school psychologists. The thesis is divided in a theoretical part, empiric part and a discussion of the research results with the literature. The theoretical part deals with a school psychology at first - its determinations and relations to other disciplines, its historical evolve and also with present situation, the content of a work of a school psychologist and his role in relationship network at school. The next part deals with a profession and professional identity, at first through a general view and lately with a direct view on the professional identity of school psychologists. In the empiric part there are firstly introduced the aims of the research and its questions, used methods for gathering and data processing and it is introduced the research file. v anglickém jazyce: The Bachelor thesis is dealing with the functioning of the school counselling centre on the first and second grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part consists of themes as the development of school counselling centres, their aims and the description of the whole counselling system. There is also a description of the work of the particular specialists representing this centre. I search for and examine the pupils' satisfaction or dissatisfaction at school and their problems concerning school and family environment in the empiric part. I focus on the children being able or willing to deal with their problems with these specialists. The question is also if the pupils have sufficient information and knowledge to whom they can turn with their troubles.

Professional self-concept of school psychologist

Diploma thesis Professional Identity of the School Psychologist, shows a profession of a school psychologist through the demands that are set before this profession, relationships in which the school psychologist is and a role in which he/she is engaged. The text is divided into a theoretical part, which contains information from the literature on the topic, part of the methodology, which shows the reader how to obtain research data and a practical part, which presents results of analysis of interviews with the school psychologists. In the first part we learn about issues of professional identity mainly from the perspective of social psychology. The text describes theoretically, on the basis of Czech and foreign literature, the profession of the school psychologist since its inception in foreign countries to the current forms. The theoretical part describes activities that characterize the profession of the school psychologist. Based on the work of several authors we specify the roles of the school psychologist. In the theoretical part we arise from the knowledge of professional identity of the school psychologist. Function school psychologist on primary school

Aim of this thesis is to look at the problematics of function of the school psychologist on primary school and show how the school psychologist get on with individual teachers. School psychology, pedagogic psychology and their history will be explained in the theoretical part of the thesis. Then we look at the history of function of the school psychologist on primary school in the Czech republic and Slovakia. We look at its cooperation with other entities - parents, students or other institions. Practical part of this thesis consist of interview with school psychologists and teachers. The aim is to analyse relations between them and determine whether is a school psychologist respected figure.
The Role of School Psychologists in Primary school

The aim of my thesis is to introduce the structure of school counselling. It specifies the individual counselling facilities. It focuses on school counselling and first of all, on the position of school psychologist at primary schools. The particular chapters deal of the history of school counselling, the legislative determination of the position of school psychologist, methods of work which are used for diagnosis of children and youth. At the same time there are mentioned some dangers and difficulties of work of school psychologist. At the end of the theoretical part I reflect some other possibilities in school psychology. The data which I acquired in the research part have enabled me to answer some questions regarding the work of school psychologist at three primary schools in Southern Bohemia, specifically, if school psychologists are accepted by the other teachers. Next I studied the attitudes of social worker and legal protection of children and youth who cooperate with school psychologists.
Truancy Prevention in Secondary Schools

The bachelor thesis called "Truancy Prevention in Secondary Schools" deals with truancy especially in the context of prevention. The main goal of my work is a description of possibilities of primary and secondary prevention and a suggestion of how to use leisure activities for truancy prevention. The introductory chapters are focused on definition and characteristics of truancy. There is also a description of external and internal causes of truancy as an important part of understanding of a suitable prevention approach. The successive chapters follow up the causes of truancy and offer various ways of prevention in school and in family. The theme concludes in a chapter connecting truancy with an offer of prevention alternatives within the framework of leisure activities.
