Molecular simulation of Lennard-Jones fluid as a task for physical chemistry laboratory

Molecular simulations are capable of reproducing and predicting the behavior of real systems using a simplified model. Over the past 70 years, thanks to the rapid development of computers, this method has become an important part of various scientific fields. Thanks to their speed and low cost, molecular simulations can work hand in hand with a real experiment and in some cases even replace it. The didactics of this progressive method are in its beginnings at the Faculty of Science of Charles University, and its teaching is limited to master's and higher studies. In this work, we created and tested a task for physical chemistry laboratory, which can serve as a first introduction to molecular simulations for undergraduate chemistry students. The task, written in the interactive Jupyter Notebook environment, was designed based on modern pedagogical approaches of inquiry based learning, supplemented by a high level of scaffolding due to the complexity of the teaching content. The choice of simulating the model of supercritical argon described by the Lennard-Jones potential was based on the requirement for conceptual simplicity and the possibility of connection with already known concepts. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Engineering Courses at Brno University of Technology

Cílem této bakalářské práce je vymezit koncepci integrované výuky předmětu a cizího jazyka (CLIL) a analyzovat některé faktory, které ovlivňují úspěšnou implementaci CLIL v odborných předmětech na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Teoretická část práce diskutuje výhody CLILu, vysvětluje model Coyleové, Hooda a Marshe a popisuje využití různých pedagogických modelů a strategií při integraci této metody do kurikula. Zároveň také předkládá přehled vybraných výzkumných studií zaměřených na využití CLILu, který ukazuje, že CLIL má na univerzitách významný vliv na výuku odborných předmětů prostřednictvím cizího jazyka. Praktická část práce se zabývá výzkumem zaměřeným na aktuální situaci CLILu v odborných předmětech studijního programu Angličtina v elektrotechnice a informatice na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Závěrem práce diskutuje výzkumná zjištění vyplývající z dotazníkového šetření mezi učiteli a studenty a navrhuje, jakým způsobem výuku prostřednictvím CLILu zdokonalit.

Realization of Construction of Firehouse in Ždírec nad Doubravou

The master´s thesis describes the realization of new building of fire station in Ždírec nad Doubravou. The parts of the thesis are time and financial plan for all building objects, assessment of transport routes, design of site equipment and design of main machines. An itimized budget with a bill of quantities and a detailed construction schedule are prepared for the main building. A technological regulativ and quality control plan are prepared for the stage of industrial steelconcrete floor. In the end of the work, there is solved the noise study of construction and the topic of system infiltration tanks.

This thesis deals with variants of whether the material station basis, specifically scaffolding, better to own or rent it. This Bachelor's thesis deals with the execution of the envelope residential building Šemberova. It concerns realization of the ventilated façade. In this Bachelor's thesis, the building technological project contains primarily a model of the building site accessories, the technological process, the time schedule, the financial heftiness, the machines formation, the check and the test plan, the occupational safety, for these technological phases.

Information System Generator

Goal of this work is to design and implement too for passive code generation for specific information system framework. This framework is ZeroFramework that is targeted at client-server development of applications running on .NET platform. For code generation, T4 Scaffolding library is used, which allows to divide code generation logic into separate parts (scaffolders). This work is mainly concerned with design and implementation of those scaffolders and their linking with T4Scaffolding library. Results of this work are templates and logic for generation of files and classes, which implement logic needed for display, adding, modification and deletion of specific database entity.

Diploma thesis is focused on the preparation of the implementation of the University Centre in Zlín. The work includes building technology study and subsequent construction technology project. In this thesis, the aim was to determine the time, financial and material demands of the project, choose the optimum process of construction, ensure BOZP, make the proposal buildingsite for the individual stages, the calculation of costs of site preparation and select adequate mechanical the assembly. It was drafted fire assessments of buildings.

Realization of Reduction of Energy Consumption of Museum in Horni Studenec

The bachelor thesis describes the realization of thermal insulation of Museum in Horni Studenec. The part of this stage is a montage of new windows and entrance doors, thermal insulation of foundation, plinth and external walls. The thermal insulation is designed using external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). The thesis handles with technological prescription, assessment of transport itineraries, itimized budget with statement of quantities, design of site equipment, construction schedule, inventory of machines, control and test plan and occupational safety and health. In the last chapter of the thesis, there is described a mechanical anchoring system of thermal insulation, the comparison of the standard types and design of dowels, which are suitable for use in the realization of thermal insulation of the building facility.
