Cooperation between school and family at the disadvantage pupils

The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring the quality of cooperation between family and teachers of disadvantaged students. The parental side examines the interest in education and care of their child. From the teacher's side is monitored the level of communication and support towards parents. The whole research is accomplished within the Ustecky region in the Czech Republic with the main focus on excluded locations. Research is using the following methods: questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. The results can provide interesting insight into the level of awareness of parents living in the excluded localities about their children's education and the level of mutual cooperation between parents and school with the aim of enriching and educating younger generations. For the child's development it is necessary to create a safe space. The basics for creating a safe environment is the synchronization of interests of parents, teachers and the teaching methods. Mutual cooperation between parents and teachers is the basis for success in a child's education. In the conclusion of the diploma thesis there is a summarisation of ten short recommendations on how to cooperate. Relationship of Family and School at the Beginning of School Attendance

This thesis deals with the relationship between family and school at the beginning of primary school. The theoretical part defines the matters of the cooperation between family and school, it explains terms like family, school and the relationship between them. Next it deals with historical roots of the relationship, conditions for the effective cooperation between family and school and specifications in curriculum together with some educational plans and initiatives. The practical parts presents varied research which is focused on the concrete level of the cooperation between family and school at the beginning of primary school and which is marked by the sign Parents are welcome. The evaluative instrument is Survey for parents, results of it create the base for the interview with the head teacher of the school. Complementary research finds the opinions of the teachers in the matter of the cooperation between family and school. The results of the research proved that the quality of the cooperation between the family and school at this grammar school is at high level. Parents evaluate the attitude of this school positively and they claim there is partnership between them and the school, which fulfill the standard of the sign Parents are welcome. Colaboration between school and family in primary school

COOPERATION OF FAMILY AND SMALL SCHOOL WITH COMPOSITE CLASSES The thesis deals with the cooperation of family and small school with composite classes. The theoretical section deals with the typology and changes in family, family and school partnership, ideal setting of cooperation between family and school. It examines programmes of schools with area of cooperation being developed (Step by step and Parents are welcome). It looks for starting points that might be used at home school. The research section deals with a description of a small school with composite classes, where the graduant teaches. It also examines specificities of this school, the typology of students' families and at the same time it's also mapping the cooperation between school and family according to the programme Parents are welcome. It's trying to find the strategies for improving the cooperation with family. This is followed by the assessment from the viewpoints of author, parents, colleagues and a conclusions.

Forms of Family and School Cooperation at the Beginning of School Attandance

This thesis focuses on forms of cooperation between family and school at the beginning of school attendance. The theoretical part defines family and school as educational institutions and traces the development of cooperation between these institutions. It shows current trends in cooperation between family and school using the elements of a strategy of innovative educational program Step by Step and project Parents welcome. It refers to the elements that affect mutual relations. At the beginning of the empirical part is first described the methodology of qualitative research. The main techniques used were observation, questioning and interviews with teaching staff and the parents of pupils at two schools - at the average primary school and at the school using the program Start together, which received a certificate Parents welcome. Partner reality was analyzed on the basis of a document Competent teacher of the 21st century: An international professional quality framework ISSA. The research identified the actual situation in each school, its benefits and weaknesses. Communication of School and Family in Primary Education

The thesis deals with communication between family and school in primary education. It's aim is to formulate proposals for more efficient communication with parents. The thesis has theoretical and practical - experimental part. In the practical part key concepts are being characterized. Also the thesis interprets the grounding of the term "parents" in the curricular documents and legislative. The main focus has been placed on initiatives and programmes which ephasise school-family cooperation, mostly the project Parents welcome and educational program Step by Step. The forms of such cooperation between subjects and their mutuall expectations have been described as well. The experimental part examines parent's satisfaction and used communication strategies at school where the experimental investigation took place. The research uses both qualitative and quantitative methods - mostly survey and deep interviews. The results of this research were analyzed. According to the analysis, suggestions for an effective communication with parents have been provided. The diploma thesis deals with cooperation between family and school at the beginning of the education. The theoretical part is focused on the family and the school such as an educational institution. It describes a fixing cooperation between family and school in the obligatory documents for the education and represents principles and possible limits. It also deals with an expectaion and parent's and teacher's worries. It represents programmes and initiatives be supported to cooperation with school with family for example "Rodiče vítáni" and "Začít spolu". The empiric part deals with research, which watches a particular forms of cooperation the school with parents on the particular secondary school, mainly on the first school.
